The scenes were getting clearer and I remembered Frela telling me Lisa was my mother, I was curious to know what was happening.

After the kingdom got to know about Lisa’s powers she was called back to the palace, but she refused, telling that all that mattered was her husband and she had no interest in the kingdom anymore. That she wished to be free from the royal duties.

10 years later a child was born to Lisa and Arnezo, and happiness glittered through there eyes, naming her Stella, her eyes were dark black just like the night sky.

The happy family were oblivious of what was happening to the kingdom, the kingdom that was growing only to be decayed to dust.

Frela had already taken the throne, poisoning her father and sending him to death, her hatred towards Lisa and her husband was growing without bound, and her knight was helplessly in love with her, obeying her wishes and commands without questioning. His loyalty and his love were being misused by Frela.

6 years passed and dark magic clouded the city of Red blood, the people started escaping to live a peaceful life, but all those who tried to escape were killed mercilessly and hanged in the public squares to serve as a reminder.

Afraid of the gruesome torturous methods people lost hope of survival and functioned like rotten bodies.

All these happenings reached the ears of the happy blissful couple and they knew they had to stop her. They came back to the kingdom and what they saw shattered there hearts into million pieces.

They closed Stella’s eyes from seeing the disaster before her, people’s blood laid scattered as water near the entrance of the palace.

Some of their heads pierced into the gate’s fences.

They entered the palace, her sister aware of Lisa’s entry.

‘ sister what have you done?’ she exclaimed, ‘ where is father?’ she asked as she looked at Frela sitting on the throne, her black fur contrasting the white palace interiors.

‘ oh look who has come back’ she laughed arrogantly.

‘ sister you need to stop this madness, please’ she begged.

‘ what are you going to do if I don’t’ she said licking her golden sword.

‘ sister please, I know there is still good inside you, please stop, I will help you’ she said and Frela snickered.

‘ help?’ she snickered. ‘ you are no longer my sister, you do not have the right since you left the kingdom’ she said with cold eyes.

‘ Frela stop this, I know you are a kind girl’ Arnezo said and her temper grew.

‘ you have no right to condemn me’ she screamed.

‘ it was all because of you’ she said looking at the couple who held the shivering Steela in her arms.

‘ I detested you, SISTER, since I was a child, you took away everything from me, father’s love, my love, and even when I was about to take the throne father had second thoughts to make you the queen, for all I hated that you stole everything from me and now..’ she said stepping down.

‘ you have come to take away what I have built over the years, who do you think is making you stand alive, it is me’ she laughed louder than ever before.

‘ Frela please stop this or else I have no other option but to go against you’ she said wanting her dear sister to see light and kindness.

‘ are you challenging me sister?’ she laughed.

‘ If that is the only way to make you sane then I will’ she said. Lisa dint know the spells but she had learned a few when she was a child.

‘ Arnezo, please take Stella away, let her live a life away from this world’ Lisa cast a spell on the little Stella who was barely 6 years old, sealing away her memories.

‘no Lisa, I am not living you here alone’ he said hugging her, ‘ I can protect you both’ he pleaded her but Lisa knew that Frela was much stronger than what they could have imagined.

Her knight wasn’t beside her, ‘ take the stairs through my room, hurry’ she said teleporting him to her room.

He followed Lisa’s instructions, running down a dark passage until he found light.
