My Lovable Possessive Mate - Chapter 62
Blake’s pov
Allen’s warmth was leaving her body, each second I prolonged treating her.
‘ Rock, ask the soldiers for a doctor to immediately come to the palace’ I said lifting her, she was light as a feather. I feared she would disappear right before my eyes.
‘ yes, Alpha and what should I do to the rest’ he said as I looked at the red bathed battlefield. The evening sun making it shine brighter than the red sun.
‘ Tie up all the soldiers who followed that witch in the castle dungeon and treat those who are injured’ I commanded.
Even with the cold ice that made me lose my footing I ran to the castle in the hope of finding a cure. I would do anything as long as she would live and when she does..I will lock her down to my side.
With hurried steps I reached the castle, its interiors still overwhelmed me as I took the grand staircase which led to a corridor with a series of rooms.
I went inside the first one, pushing the door open only to reveal a red-toned interior. I placed her on the bed pacing back and forth when a portrait stood out to me.
It was the king with his two children, one on either side on his lap, the girl sitting on the right had a certain resemblance to Allen, but I was too focused on her to know who the girl was.
‘ Alpha the doctor has arrived’ Rock said
‘ she is not breathing, look into her this instant’ I raised my voice making the old doctor flinch in his spot. His eyes were blue, a common trait among the people who lived here along with the white beard which hanged low till his waist.
‘ Alpha, what do we about Allen’s brother? He is insisting on seeing her’ he informed and I was not in the position to handle that brother of hers.
‘ Lock him up in one of the rooms’ I mind linked the soldier who was near him. ‘ yes Alpha’ he replied and I knew the amount of resistance Kavin would put up. A headache..
‘ Is she alright’ Max talked to me after a long time, he was cornered on the back of my head with his ears and tail slumped down. ‘ I can smell a wolf in her’ he said I could feel it too. The smell was frail but it was evident. We dint know what was happening to her.
He feared losing the connection with his mate, and I was anxious too. Her bones could be seen as her skin withered around it, just looking at her made me scream with rage and anger. The way these people had treated her, even a 100 lashing wouldn’t suffice.
‘ How is she?’ I asked the doctor.
‘ Sir.’ He hesitated, looking back and forth between me and the marbled ground. ‘ speak’ I commanded.
‘ She has the blood of a witch and wolf’ he said and I was shocked. How could I not smell anything on her when we first met.
