Blake’s pov

As Allen slept, oblivious to the crisis that surrounded her, I had to make a tough decision.

‘ Where is Kavin’ I asked looking at Rock.

‘ He’s in the next room’ he replied. ‘ look after her till my return and don’t you dare do anything’ I growled at the already frightened doctor who nodded.

There were a lot of issues I needed to sort out before I marked her because once I do, I won’t be leaving her alone.

I entered the room only to be pushed back by Kavin ‘ Where is my sister’ he screamed.

Rock who was behind me was now pushing him down on the floor. ‘ you think you will get away with this’ he sneered.

‘ calm down Kavin, I need to talk with you and if you keep acting this way then I don’t think you will leave this room’ I said sitting on the couch.

He stopped struggling after regaining back his senses.

‘ I need to know everything’ he said and I looked at Rock to proceed with the storytelling. He spoke about werewolves, mates, and other stuff.

I guess it was slowly sinking into his blood that what he had seen before was true and so I continued the part of Allen’s family history and about her being a wolf and a witch.

After I finished ‘ what happens to Allen now’ he asked in a concerning voice.

‘ I will be marking her tonight and since we do not know when she will recover, I need you to go back to your father and tell him that she’s attending her friend’s wedding’. I know in no way would this calm the father but we had to do something.

‘ how long will it take for her to recover’.

‘ I’m not sure’ I replied, I wish I knew it too.to see her eyes which would be filled with life but I can’t.

‘ I will be transferring him to oversees for a year.so I need you to go back and convince him to move out.

He thought deeply before confirming.

‘ please take care of her, can I see her’ he asked and I knew it would take a long time before she wakes up. ‘ sure, Rock, take him there I said.

‘ yes Alpha’ he bowed leading Kavin out of this room. The most important matter was done, now I had to ask Fernadis to look over my pack till I return.

I knew he was abroad so I asked my parents to convey my message since my father alone will not be able to handle attacks and right now I was in no position to go back.

I slumped back signing. How I wish I could reverse all this, in the end, we never cleared our misunderstandings.

An hour later I went back to her room, she still looked beautiful in my eyes, her skin paler than ever before, it made me cry in agony.

I looked at her nape, my thumb pressing around the spot I would be putting my canines in. I hoped she lived.

‘ I love you Allen’ were the last words that came out of mouth before I pierced her skin with my teeth.

Her blood tasted sweet like honey, I wanted more, I couldn’t stop. For once I thought she needn’t have to bear the pain while I mark her.

An hour passed and the marking had ended, the taste of her blood still lingering on my tongue. I licked the spot to stop the blood from overflowing.

I silently sat next to her, looking at her over and over again till each of her skin was etched in my mind. Her hands which were ice has cold were now gaining heat.

I clasped her hand, wriggling my fingers into hers, to stay connected even when I slept, her warm fragrance still developing.

I passed out.
