Kavin’s pov

So many things have happened these few days and to digest the fact that my sister was a witch and a werewolf is a complicated feeling.

I know there have been times when I questioned my memory of mom not getting pregnant and yet having her but I had already neglected those vague memories when I reached teenage.

She was a beautiful and wonderful kid, looking after us when everything was in distress after mother left. I wanted to give her my maximum attention which I had failed over the years.

I wanted her to meet a wonderful man and be happy.

I know this may sound rude but I wanted the best for her. After knowing she was into this guy called Blake whose not only a rich businessman but also had a dark aura surrounding him. I feared the consequences. I knew my sister was innocent and that is why he was going after her.

But after being with him, I had somewhere come to accept that he was my brother-in-law. I knew he would look after Allen, my dear sister.

And at this point I will not interfere with them, they have already been through too much, I just want them to be happy. Yes, since they are mates now, I hope they do and I will support them.

‘ We have reached sir’ the bodyguard who guided me back from the tunnels said.

‘ Thank you’ I replied.

I found my way back to my house only to meet a panicking father.

‘ Where is Allen, she has not been receiving my calls for so many days’ he replied. ‘ and where were you? I couldn’t reach you too’ he said.

As much as I wanted to tell father the truth, it was for his own safety if he never knew the other world.

‘ I went to drop her, she’s attending her friend’s wedding and its located in a remote area so the signal is very weak’ I replied.

‘ What? a friend’s wedding?’ he questioned back.

‘ yes, since she dint have any work, she left for the wedding, I’m sorry I forgot to tell you’ I said trying to convince him.

‘ Why did she have to go now?’ he signed.

‘ what happened?’

‘ they are asking me to move to another country for a year’ he replied ‘ I’m still worried about Allen, I think I will quit my job and wait for her’ he said and this was not going well.

He may get a heart attack if he knew Allen was lying on the death bed now. Her skin looked so pale that I feared to touch her. It breaks my heart to see my sister that way.

But Blake has given his word that he will not let her die and so I just have to trust him and make father move out. I hope everything settles down soon.

‘ding dong’ the bell rang and I wondered who was interfering at such an important time.

Turned out to be a girl, She was beautiful….wowo..calm down I thought.

‘ umm..you are’ I asked.

‘ I’m Allen’s friend’ she replied. ‘ come in’ I said not able to take my eyes off her.

‘ Who…?’ My father’s voice glided through.

‘ I’m Allen’s friend and I have come to let you know that Allen’s attending my best friend’s wedding. I know you may be shocked but I hope you could understand. The wedding was decided urgently and so she dint have the time to inform you, as soon as it gets over, I will make it my top priority to make her call you’ she responded in a sweet angelic voice.

‘ Thank you, dear, please make sure she is doing well’ my father replied and I was surprised that it just took a long speech from a pretty girl to convince my father.

I guess this was Blake’s doing considering he knew that I wouldn’t be able to handle it well, but how come I have never met this girl.

She was calm and composed, I was drawn to her like a honey bee.
