My Marriage To A Mute Alpha - Volume 1 Chapter 45
Days passed by as usual. There was no confusion or disturbance whatsoever. Xiang and Suho never met so frequently before, as they had during the past few days. Xiang couldn’t stop dreaming about how their life would be after the marriage. But he wasn’t the only one. Suho was more eager than him to make him his. Nothing can describe how much he longed for Xiang all this time. He wasn’t very expressive with his emotions like him. But his feelings for him were by no means inferior to others.
During these past few days, his Alpha instincts were more vivid than ever before. The main reason was that his ‘soon to be’ Omega was surrounded by other Alphas and their pheromones. Even though his parents, Cheng Mu and, Han Li meant no harm, he still saw them as a threat, mainly his cousins. He would suddenly get moody and show disagreement, create opportunities for him, and Xiang to be alone and, many more. He wasn’t even aware of himself doing those things. But Xiang was sharp enough to notice it. This was the first time he saw Suho acting spoiled, and he had no intention of letting go of that chance. Even though they still had a lot to worry about, these little moments were what made their relationship stronger and more lovable.
The night before the wedding, everybody was staying at the Lee family’s mansion, including Han Li and Cheng Mu. Suddenly, Mrs. Lee suggested that they go out and eat to celebrate.
“We are all in a good mood today. Let’s eat dinner at a fancy restaurant to celebrate!” exclaimed Mrs. Lee.
“Sounds good!” replied Zhao. Everybody agreed with him.
Xiang then turned to Suho and saw his lifeless face. He chuckled to himself and said to everybody, “I’m feeling a bit tired today. I also have a lot to talk about with Suho. If you don’t mind, can you guys go to dinner without us?”
“They have a wedding tomorrow. We should let them rest,” replied Mr. Shi and gestured Cheng Mu to say something.
“Let’s give the couple some lone time! Everybody, follow me!” exclaimed Cheng Mu and led the way.
After a while, except for Suho and Xiang, there was not even a single soul in the mansion. Xiang then quietly got up and went upstairs. Suho quickly stood up and followed him blindly. One could only see the shadows moving through the corridor by the lights that shone through the windows.
Suho then suddenly lost sight of him and meandered around. He then saw a shadow loiter into his bedroom. When he ran to the door, a hand suddenly pulled him inside. Someone shut the door and banged him onto it. He knew who it was from the scent, but waited for him to reveal his face. The black figure then slowly brought its face in front of Suho’s. The moonlight that scattered through the window and the cool air in the room reflected his face onto Suho’s eyes. It was none other than Xiang.
Xiang crept closer and closer until the points of their noses were touching. There was pin-drop silence in the room that he was able to hear Suho’s heart beating. With one of his hands on the door, preventing Suho from moving, Xiang whispered, “Why are you silent? Weren’t you waiting for this moment?” and chuckled. Suho immediately got hold of his arms and pushed him onto the bed. Xiang wrapped his arms around his neck and said, “Just nod or shake your head in reply- You wanted to push me down all this time, right?”
After a few seconds, Suho nodded his head in reply. Even though he wasn’t able to see his face clearly in the dark, he knew that Suho was blushing as he felt his body burning up. Xiang pulled him closer and kissed him on the forehead.
“Won’t you kiss me on the lips?” whispered Xiang while caressing him. Without thinking for another second, Suho grabbed him by the waist and kissed him.
When their lips separated, Xiang said, “Suho, don’t worry. Not even a single needle will dare to hurt me as long as you are by my side,” and hugged him. Suho was taken aback. He felt as if he had seen right through him. Suho gently buried his face into Xiang’s shoulders and grasped him tightly. Xiang abruptly felt his shoulders getting wet. He slowly ran his fingers through his silk-like hair and said, “I won’t leave you like I did last time. Please don’t cry.”
