My Mother Has a System but Won't Use It - Chapter 140 Red
Chapter 140 Red
The thick forest. The skies. The foliage. The atmosphere. All of the cities in the entire Sacred Lust Continent, and anything at all that existed under the heavens—they were all red. Crimson tinted as if a red haze brightened everything the world had. If anything, it was like a red shadow cast over everything.
Everything was almost frozen. All sounds vanished, to be replaced by a faint hum that seemed to echo from the firmament itself.
Han Li and Yue Li were outside a cave entrance, naked and interrupted in the middle of their mother-son time. He stood there, shell-shocked and filled with emotions, while his mother clung to him worriedly. Even the falling leaves seemed slower; what was happening?
Then there was that instinct that screamed inside them akin to a dull ache. Shaking gently, Han Li’s gaze moved towards the sky that was at the breaking of morning light an hour ago, which had now turned into redness. Red sky, dark shadows—his heart skipped a beat.

Han Li and Yue Li grumbled to each other, filled with things to speak about. However badly their adventure had gone, it was still a fun topic to discuss, and as they continued speaking, Yue Li’s grievances vanished like a puff in the air. Her son noticed it and took advantage of the moment, making her even happier with his teasing.
They were on their way to finding some cave now, and Han Li knew one pretty close: he had stolen that knowledge from Hou Mang’s memories, just like how he now had a great understanding of the dangers around the city from the same source.
“This cave is pretty humid but there is this unusual bed-like mushroom there,” he said with a rather wanting expression. “Even though we had such a nice chance, we ended up not doing much, so let’s do it there; I have been missing out on cultivating recently, so I have to get back on track.”
Yue Li was holding his hand and skipping on her legs beside him, swinging his hand as she walked. She said with an impish smirk, “Yeah, say that, missing out on cultivation and not the actual process itself. But sure, sure, I won’t say anything.”
“Well,” Han Li walked briskly, following her pace. “I won’t say I don’t miss that, but honestly, I think we should go a bit crazy this time around—it was kind of like our honeymoon after all.”
“Ah, now that you say it,” Yue Li paused on her steps, filled with awe. “I totally forgot you never take me on normal trips. You have to, Xiao Li. I reincarnated all the way into a fantasy world, and if I didn’t get my dose of adventure before dying, it would be totally worthless.”
Han Li blanched. “You are not going to die. So don’t worry.”
Laughing, Yue Li nodded. “I forgot you wanted to gain control over life and death, so I don’t have to worry about that.”
Her son looked at her doubtfully. No way, right?
“By any chance, are you mocking me?”
Yue Li shook her head playfully. “No, or maybe I am.”
He sighed. “It’s been a while since I spanked you; time I do it again, I will leave real handprints this time, Mom, think of it.”
She blanched this time, her face twisting. “I will spank you instead, you brat! I decided to reclaim my lost honor with you earlier. Oh shit, I forgot that too. Now I, anyway, where is this goddamn cave? And I also need you to do something.”
Han Li amusedly looked at her. She was wet, and dirt stuck to her cheeks too, but so adorable, damn it! So adorable, in fact, he wondered if he had fallen in love once more. How pathetic of himself.
Soon, they found a cave entrance, but it was just the size of a small squirrel. No matter, Han Li stretched his biceps coolly and slashed with his sword, creating a better entrance after about 10 minutes. Then, they squeezed in. He squinted when his mom struggled past the narrow path, her boobs that were so filled getting squeezed as she cursed how narrow it was.
With a pull, she was in his embrace, and a second or two later, they found themselves atop the mushroom bed. She whistled in amusement while he pushed her down.
“Wait a second, Xiao Li!” she exclaimed.
“What?” Han Li asked in dissatisfaction, squeezing her beautiful booba after effortlessly getting her naked. His manhood was now gently brushing against her wilderness, and he could feel the amazingly slick sensation inviting him closer—to become one.
“I want you to see my memories with that sword before we begin; you see, you’d know me better and all.”
Han Li squinted.
“Is that necessary now? We are already turned on. Let’s do it at home when we’re both free.”
She shook her head adamantly. Han Li clicked his tongue and gently walked back, brushing his lips to the bush on her crotch. He murmured, a slight wind arousing her. “A very nice smell.”
With a simple kiss on his origin, he stood on his knees, and the sword flew to him. Gracefully catching it, he breathed out roughly, using [Lack of Lust] on himself to remove the Lust in him temporarily. He asked: “Mom, are you sure? I would know all of your dirty secrets, and I hope you didn’t have some kind of boyfriend in your past life; I would go there to kill him if something like that existed.”
Yue Li smirked. “Such a shame; I wish I had a huge harem there so you could bring me there to beat them all up.”
Han Li’s cheeks twitched. “Nah, if you had something as filthy as that, I would destroy that world all in itself.”
“Oh?” Yue Li laughed. “Possessive bunch, are we? Not that I mind. I had no boyfriends, my lord; You are my first and last from the start. All right now?”
Han Li mocked. “I knew it from the start, idiot; you were far too inexperienced on our first day; how can I not be your first? I was joking with you.”
“Fufu,” Yue Li mocked back. “You say that, but you were worried if someone had ever kissed me or something, right?”
Han Li looked at her impassively. He knew she didn’t do that, of course; she could be called a homophobe if he wasn’t included among men. She just had a natural talent for hiding it. He had never even seen her talk with another male naturally before, now that he thought of it.
Of course, she could still talk to merchants and such, but that was for business; outside it, she didn’t even have real women friends—she should learn something from Hua Feilan in this aspect. As for Li Yao?
She was family.
Anyway, how dare she tease him with something so horrible?
“Nah, you have two lives of experience, and you still made me lick your feet, though. How bad can you get after that? I am your own son, you know, so I am not worried about anything you might do anymore,” he teased.
Feeling betrayed, Yue Li stopped her flirting and glared at him, her eyes a bit tearful. “I told you not to speak about it anymore. You are cruel, exactly what I would expect of a murderer. Bastard! And I am so loyal and even helped you make your own harem! You would never get another woman like me, and yet you have zero gratitude!”
Han Li leaned closer and brought his face near hers; their breaths mingled. “That’s true. I am lucky I found you on my day one; there is none as good as you in the entire contine—”
Suddenly, his breath got caught in his throat as he saw a red shadow cast on his mother’s gentle and blushing visage, her roughly breathing self was now bathed in this light. His neck mechanically shifted towards the cave entrance, his eyes as wide as saucers. Upd𝒂ted chapters 𝒐n n𝒐velbin(.)com
Scooting out from the mushroom bed, still entirely naked, he walked out of the cave. While collecting her clothes to simply hide her body, Yue Li followed him worriedly. What was this sudden red light that ruined everything? She knew he hated what she said, but it did agitate him, so it was a benefit she would have in the bed; her body would apologize for what she said—but now? All ruined.
Han Li stood frozen there, his hands trembling with disbelief, and he quickly took hold of her hand. “Mom, quickly get dressed, quick!”
“It’s still wet,” she said, somewhat fearful.
“Just do it,” he breathed heavily. More than ever, he felt his heartbeat quicken.
Yue Li didn’t play around and began to get dressed, but even when she was doing that, Han Li didn’t dare let go of his hold over her wrist; no matter how uncomfortable she grumbled, it only tightened.
The wind kicked up all around, and deep inside his Empty Space, his Dao Soul throbbed in excitement. His skin felt as if it was charged with electricity, while his stomach felt as if it had a lively banquet in front of it.
“The… Heaven Rising,” he muttered, his red eyes roaming around nervously as a small dome began to cover him. As if red smoke curling around a smoker, it gently wrapped him and his mother together.
No, this couldn’t be….
How had the future changed so drastically?
He grinded his teeth.
What the fuck had changed?
