My mother's SON-IN-LAW - Chapter 62: SHE KNOWS
Chapter 62: SHE KNOWS
In a phone call:
“I think your sister might not want to come back from that place Edward. What will you do if she doesn’t come back this time?” asked Frank with a solemn look in his eyes, he was both anxious yet happy about the little girls outburst. She was somehow kidnapped, but she knew she would get taken, she even knew who would do it, how he would do it and when. Yet she did not try to fight him off or even go against him, it was completely out of the girls character, or should he say that it was what she would do perfectly if it were a few years ago.
Edward who was on the other side of the call did not know what to say to this annoying man, he had only arrived in the Country for less than thrity minutes yet he was already calling him as if they were friends or something. He simply wanted to curse Alicia for getting this madman involved with them. It was simply toture for them.
He answered him expressionlessly with, I’ll take her back anyway.”
Frank was left speechless.
The man was simply crazy, he would kidnap his own sister just to bring her back to him. He was simply wierd.
Edward couldn’t stand the man’s cocky attitude anymore and simply hung up the call right after he felt that Frank had something more to share with him. After a few seconds Frank recieved a text from Edward which read; STOP CALLING ME, I’M NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND.
Frank looked at the text in disbelief, what did he mean by cursing him like that?
Why on earth would he ever dream of finding himself a girlfriend which would be the death of him?It was simply ludacrous.
Looking at the silent office which Frank was alone in, he had a faint smile playing on his lips. He was somewhat amused about the whole situation which was going on, everyone believed that the little girl was probably aggreived where she was, yet he knew for a fact that the only people who felt wrong there were the people who had chose to detain her in the fist place.
The girl knew too much, yet she played her cards so well that even he didn’t know what to believe at this point.
She was still that cunning little princess he met five years ago.
