My Naughty Fake Bride - 110 Being A Bastard Again
The man that is going to marry the woman he wants.
“Yes, finally, after the work, you put me through.” He said accusingly, as if he was joking, “And I’ve been catching up with the news.” Zang Fang added carefully. ‘Are you taking care of her properly, you one big piece of wood?’ That was what he really wanted to ask.
“And?”
“What do you mean and?” He asked, annoyed, “Why did you not call me you were engaged? Do you even know how to be romantic? Your bride will be very disappointed. I would have thought you a thing or two.” Zang Fang said, showing his disapproval at having to see that from the news. He was acting like a friend that was stood up by another friend when they agreed to go out.
Yet, he was the only one who knew it was more than that. He was the only one that was aware of how he was burying himself in torturous pain. Every piece of information in the news was like a knife being stabbed at him before it was taken out slowly.
There were parts of the news that praises the couple while the other was not talking shit about his girl.
Gold digger? For him, if money could take Han Mei away from Suzuki Kyou, then he would give up all his fortune. Any glimmer of hope was possible.
However, he seemed too late already to even offer. Even that time when she was helping him, Han Mei never showed any signs that she liked the same as he does.
“I don’t anyone telling me how to woo my woman.” Suzuki Kyou said. He was not emphasizing anything, but it still hurts to hear that on Zang Fang’s side.
Through clenched teeth, “At least you should not have forgotten about inviting me.” Zang Fang stressed. “Did you even think of me when you are deciding on the guest list?”
“I did not decide on the guest list. You can blame my assistant,” Suzuki Kyou said as if he could not be bothered explaining or defending himself. Putting Assistant Ye on the spot to explain was his usual habit when he was lazy technically.
Of course, Zang Fang knew this. “Reall-” Zang Fang started knowing full well the guy on the other line was getting impatient and would never say sorry.
“What do you want?” Suzuki Kyou asked, sounding disgruntled. “Spill, you are wasting time.” He added said in a voice that clearly stated that he wasn’t joking. Zang Fang grinned.
“I want to talk to your fiancé. So give me Han Mei’s phone number.” Zang Fang said without hesitation.
Suzuki Kyou was quiet for a while. Zang Fang waited for him to process what he had heard. ‘Was I being so blunt? I should have just used my other connection to find it.’ He thought to himself, but the idea that he was someone not a complete stranger with her was drilling his being.
“Why?” Suzuki Kyou asked, sounding genuinely confused.
Zang Fang grinned. Whoever would ever hear their conversations would not believe Suzuki Kyou could feel emotions. Let alone show it in the inflections of his voice. He was pleased the guy was letting his guard down.
‘I am being a bastard again.’ Zang Fang did not care. At least he wanted to talk to her and see how things were going between her and Suzuki Kyou.
If she was happy, he would just apologize regarding that night before he backs off completely.
“I missed he-I mean your engagement party, right? At least I can give her a gift.” Zang Fang said, quickly explaining himself.
Suzuki Kyou grunted before going silent. “No.” He flat out refused.
“Huh? What do you mean, no?” Zang Fang was dumbfounded. Was his cover blown already because of his almost blurted out mistake from earlier?
“No, means no need to give her an engagement gift.” Suzuki Kyou said.
Zang Fang chuckled nervously, “Why not? She deserves all the gifts from all business partners, right? Since she will be your wife.” He said forcedly.
“Fine. Send the gift here. I will give it to her.” Suzuki Kyou said before he hang up.
Zang Fang could only smile helplessly. ‘Could you not show how much you care for being possessive?’ He silently asked before he stood up and looked for the strongest alcohol in the house.

Wang Jin ignored the man intently staring at her profile as she stared out the window. She was feeling raw and humiliated. Not that she was showing that or anything at all to the man in question, or any people in the fvcking place that she was at.
She wanted to bite her lips to keep the enraged scream from leaving her mouth. However, she knew that the more aggressive she would be, the more they would think that she needed restraint. Wang Jin knew how it was done because that was what the doctors told them before when his brother was isolated from everyone else.
Her brother would hurt other people or hurt himself. There as an instance that he almost bit his tongue to bleed to death. It was only a threat, though, because everyone knew that her brother is afraid of dying, just like everyone else.
Wang Jin tightened her throat and pushed her hair away from her face. She looked at the clump of hair that fell back to her face and sighed in irritation. Her hair had grown long and untamed again.
She tried not to let the anger and humiliation of sitting in this very office in a plain white dress and unstyled hair get to her. It was the clothes that she always thought that she would never wear in her life, especially when she saw it the first time in her brother.
Wang Jin sat in the ugly brown but somewhat uncomfortable armchair and urged herself to sit still even though she itched to reach for the letter opener, the only sharp object on the table, and use it to trim her hair to the length and style she preferred.
“Do you like the view outside?” The man staring at her, asked softly. It was the usual tone of any doctor who wanted to get ‘connected’ with their patient.
And Wang Jin doesn’t want to be connected to this doctor at all.
Wang Jin bit her lip hard until she felt blood flow into her mouth. She didn’t want to reply to the man because she hated him. She hated everything about a doctor who thinks that they know everything. This doctor would be responsible for her life for years if he diagnosed that her mental health was so bad.
She hated him mostly because he had brought her here again. Probably he was also the reason why Suzuki Kyou had the idea to bring her here.
Despite how many times she’d told Suzuki Kyou, she hated her stays in these hospitals.
Alas, she was still brought here.
Wang Jin hated the doctor more than anything from the moment she’d woken up and found herself in a white padded room dressed in this unfashionable white dress.
It was not the first time that she saw the man as well. He is working for her brother’s husband. Well, her brother-in-law.
She remembered seeing him for the first time. He’d been just as handsome as he was then as he is now with his boyish good looks and his charming smile. Wang Jin had felt a stir of attraction to him from their first meeting and had decided that she would like to play with the man whenever Suzuki Kyou wasn’t falling in line with her plans.
But then, she needed to leave the country and was not able to pay with him even for a night. Her brother being difficult and now still in a mental hospital. It was the worse to see him like this.
So who’s fault was it that she was here?
‘Ah! The bitch Han Jie!’ Wang Jin thought bitterly. If the woman did not annoy her so much, would she not try to hurt her? The Han sisters were liars, and they are the one that was supposed to be in this place!
