My Naughty Fake Bride - 114 Don’t Be A Bully
“Mei Mei don’t like sweets. She said it’s bad for the teeth,” Han Jie replied casually.
Suzuki Kyou hummed, “If that is the case, you are not good at impersonating your sister.” He said coldly.
Han Jie stiffened. She was actually not thinking too much about his question earlier. That is because as Han Mei’s fiancé, he should be aware of what her sister like right?
The problem is, Suzuki Kyou was correct. When she was trying to pretend to be MeiMei before, she was not really conscious with this things.
How can she answer that?
Han Jie’s face could only turn red from embarrassment.
“You act like a glutton. Is the Han family so poor nowadays, that you are not able to eat properly?” He asked expressionlessly. Despite that, the insult was clear.
Han Jie gritted her teeth. She then slowly placed back the glass of cold chocolate drink on the table.
“If you are mad, then be only mad at me. Don’t insult the Han family,” She replied sadly.
Suzuki Kyou smirked, “Insult is different from facts, Miss Han Jie, or you still want me to pretend that you are your sister?” He asked coldly.
Han Jie glared at him, “I don’t care. I only know that you are not supposed to force someone to marry you if they don’t want to. Don’t be a bully Kyou,” She said.
“Am I a bully?” He asked as that was a joke. “So when you and your entire family fooled me, it’s fine? Don’t you think I am the one who was bullied instead?”
Han Jie could not refute on that as well. Cause he was telling the truth. Nevertheless, if the Suzuki family did not insist to marry her sister, would she not run away?
“But- Han Jie tried to refute even if she wanted to or forced herself to do so.
“Enough. The Han family choose to lie than tell me that your sister run away from the engagement. If I am aware about it sooner, would the engagement happen and finalized if not for all of you bullying me?” He said mockingly.
Suzuki Kyou felt like he was on a déjà vu when dealing with these twins. Isn’t the same conversation that he has with Han Mei recently?
Han Jie felt guilty and embarrassed. “I’m sorry, I needed to do that,” She muttered softly. Her voice laced with sympathy.
He glared at her. ‘Sorry for what? You really needed it?’ Suzuki Kyou questioned silently. He could only blame his future father-in-law for this to happen. ‘So muddleheaded.’
It was like his intelligence was being tested. Well, it worked at one point.
Sometimes, he wonders if Han Feng, should really run a business. Thankfully, the Han family is not bankrupt yet.
With all these mess, not to mention his heart still in pain, Suzuki Kyou felt like having a vacation somewhere far away.
“Don’t think about crying,” Suzuki Kyou warned when he heard Han Jie sniffing.
He never called himself a gentleman. When Han Mei cried in front of him before, he was affected of course.
But this Han Jie, if she ever cried, he had a feeling that her tears could be fake too.
Han Jie glared back, “I won’t!” She assured with a snort.
“What do you want? Spat it out,” Suzuki Kyou demanded impatiently.
She released a heavy sigh, as if mustering courage, before speaking, “I want to make a deal with you-”
“No.” He immediately refused.
“I haven’t even told you the details! How can you refuse?!” Han Jie asked in disbelief.
“No. Means, no,” he insisted coldly. “You already ate the food, and had your drink. If that’s all, you can leave.” Suzuki Kyou said. Earlier he allowed Han Jie to talk to him because he was interested to what she was suppose to say.
The apology was expected. Her telling him that he is a bully is not. In fact, it pissed him off greatly. So even though he liked looking at her face, Suzuki Kyou still preferred if she would leave sooner.
“Listen to me at least!” Han Jie demanded, as she stomp her feet like a child.
Seeing her like this, Suzuki Kyou felt more amused than annoyed. ‘Twins can really have different personality,’ He thought to himself.
If Han Mei is in front of him now, probably she was already crying.
This Han Jie however… she’s so courageous.
Suzuki Kyou frowned at that realization.
“Why not marry me instead? You don’t need to marry my sister if she doesn’t want to.” She offered with arms crossed over her chest.
“Huh? What?” Suzuki Kyou asked dumbfounded. The other twin runs away from while the other offers herself.
Suzuki Kyou laughed. He laughed loud and hard to the point of the holding his stomach.
Han Jie felt offended. “Why are you laughing? It’s not funny!” She said fuming in anger, unaware that him, laughing seldom happens.
He was laughing for few more moments before he stopped and glared at her. “Don’t joke around!” Suzuki Kyou said angry now.
‘What are you? Bipolar?’ Han Jie questioned herself silently. One moment he was happily laughing then the next he is the opposite.
“I am not joking! Marry me! Then the entire problem will be fixed!” She insisted confidently. “My sister don’t want to get married to you to the point that she even run away. Don’t you understand? My sister is good girl but she turned bad because of you.”
Bang!
Han Jie was startled when Suzuki Kyou’s hand slammed on his table.
“Shut up! You don’t need to keep repeating what your sister did. Understood?” He asked voice laced with threat.
Han Jie nodded her head like a chicken eating grains. She then pouted, “So what do you want me to keep repeating? That you can marry me instead?”
In her mind, there was no problem asking to be married to with Suzuki Kyou since he is gay in the first place. He won’t lose out to be with someone who knows his secret.
Because of that, there will be lots of benefits in her offer.
When thinking of these benefits, Han Jie is very confident that he will accept her proposal.
Suzuki Kyou smirked, “Why do you insist that I marry you instead? Don’t tell me you love me,” He asked tauntingly.
Han Jie’s eyes, bulged. “What? That’s-”
“JieJie!” Someone shouted as soon as the door of the office was opened, that halted whatever she wanted to say. It was her sister, Han Mei.
“What are you doing here?” Han Mei asked immediately, her expression sad.
Han Jie was dumbfounded, “That… That’s supposed to be my question.” She replied with a frown.
“She wanted to marry me her instead,” Suzuki Kyou answered casually.
Han Mei’s eyes bulged in surprise. “Why would you do that? Are you doing it for me?” She asked softly, unshed tears glistering in her eyes.
“Isn’t this a better solution?” Han Jie asked with an assuring smile, “This way you don’t need to force yourself, especially with your current situation.” She continued softly.
Sadly, it was not soft enough for other to here or how Han Jie intended it to be.
Suzuki Kyou snorted, “What situation? Her being pregnant?”
Another surprise again for Han Jie. She looked at Suzuki Kyou unhappily. “You knew it, but you still want this engagement to continue? Are you that cruel?” She spat in anger.
“Me cruel? I initially wanted her to have abortion, but change my mind. Else we can go to that route so that the loan the Han family requested will still be approved.” Suzuki Kyou casually said.
“You are an ass! How can a life be compared with money?!” Han Jie asked furiously. She could not believe what Suzuki Kyou was saying at that moment.
Han Jie was utterly confused why he was acting evil, as well as disappointed for him to even suggest it.
Han Jie was so annoyed that she walked towards Suzuki Kyou with the intent to be violent. She wanted to hit Suzuki Kyou’s face.
It was the first time she wanted to badly hurt someone. Not only he was not willing to compromise, he was also using her sister’s baby to threaten them?
Han Mei pulled her sister back and then stepped in front to block Han Jie. She’s so ready to fight.
