My Naughty Fake Bride - 64 Something to Write
Han Jie looked at him with suspicion. She had the feeling that whenever he smiles, something would happen.
‘But before I always wanted to see him smile… Now, I’m not so sure.’ She thought to herself.
“You… You are acting differently.” Han Jie blurted out honestly. “What is going on?”
With her asking this, Suzuki Kyou looked at her intently. He still has a smile, but it was different from before.
While waiting for him to answer, Han Jie could not help but rub her cheeks carefully.
“Let me see?” He asked softly. “No pinching, okay?” She said, asking for assurance, as she was already annoyed at him and was contemplating to kick him or bit him if he would not behave.
She could only contemplate, because she knew that she did not have any guts to hurt him.
Suzuki Kyou nodded.
With that, Han Jie thought that he wanted to check her cheek, so tilted her head to the side as if offering it to be looked at. She was still pouting and unhappily avoiding his gaze.
She was so into her own thoughts that Han Jie did not notice his face getting close. When she did notice it, her brain immediately froze up, making her unable to move as well.
Her whole being was in haywire. Han Jie’s heart was beating so fast as if it would burst out of her chest. The situation was probably one of the things that she had fantasized with Master Shu before.
However, Han Jie was still a woman who was not used to anyone who gets too close to her personal space especially if that person was the human version of her Master Shu!
As if sensing that she would be pushing him away anytime now, He suddenly spoke seriously in a whisper, “Don’t move. Don’t push me away.”
“Kyou…” Han Jie called out meekly, when she could not take the closeness as well as the way he was staring at her. It was the first time he stared at her as if she was in trouble.
“Shhh, Quiet. Don’t talk.”
Han Jie pursed her lips as she held Suzuki Kyou’s stare. She was still wearing her sunglasses, which also helped her hide a part of her embarrassment.
Since she was not allowed to speak or move, Han Jie only stared when his face moved closer to hers, and then he kissed her!
Well, for Han Jie, it was still considered a kiss even though his lips only touched the side of her lips. It was like it only happened in a blink of an eye, and gone immediately.
“Kyou… You…” Han Jie called out again, and her voice laced with question.
Suzuki Kyou did not move away from his face immediately. He leisurely looked at her expression with amusement before whispering, “We are giving the reporters around something to writer for tomorrow.”

It was only an act that Han Jie needed to endure as his temporary fiancé.
While in the car, on their way home, Han Jie wiped her nose with another tissue. The handkerchief she had been using had long since been soaked through and useless to her.
‘It was nice of JunJun to bring it along.’ She thought.
Han Jun had silently given her the handkerchief after Suzuki Kyou touched her face before leaving.
Earlier, Han Jie had been startled by Han Jun’s gesture. She then realized he did it because her nose was bleeding, and he doesn’t like the mess. At that time, she had started bleeding again without realizing it.
“Tsk. How long will your nose bleed?” Han Jun asked in disdain as he handed her another box of tissue. “Should we bring you to the hospital for blood loss already? People who nose bleed a lot must be sick.” He continued.
“Don’t worry. I feel fine.” She said assuring, as she box of tissue from him then said ‘thanks.’
Han Jie looked out of the car through the window, barely noticing how the street in the city looked like at night. Her plan to go at that time was temporarily postponed as well.
They sat in the car quietly—their minds on different things.
She was in deep thought regarding the act. It seems with the reporters doing a happy dance with Suzuki Kyou’s scandals, and it would be a while for things to calm down.
Han Jie had barely noticed the drive back to the hotel. Her mind was still processing the event that just occurred.
They were back at the hotel.
Safe and sound though Jonah had driven them there physically but his mind had not been in the driving.
“Wait,” Han Jun called before she could step out of the car. He then looked at Han Jie pointedly, “Don’t talk when you speak to your father. I will handle the storytelling.” Han Jun said before he stepped out of the car.
He then stretched his arms as if he was tired, then casually walked towards their suite, with hands-on his pocket, leaving them behind.
“So much for sneaking out, uh?” Han Jie said tiredly.
Jonah gave her a strained smile in reply. “I hope the big boss won’t fire me.”
“We are with JunJun, so he won’t. Don’t worry. I’m sorry still for making it difficult for you today.” Han Jie said softly. She truly meant it.
“It isn’t a problem, miss,” Jonah replied.
“Isn’t it, though? Well, there would be more problems in the future since my sister’s face, as well as the Han family,, might be involved in the scandal.” Han Jie continued softly.
“It will work out. CEO Suzuki was willing to help.” Jonah said, just as soft. “It would be easier though, if Ms. Mae is here.” He said, added, mostly referring to the ‘act’ that Suzuki Kyou mentioned earlier. If it was Han Mae, there was no need for
Han Jie sighed and nodded.
“Let’s get back before father decided to pick us up.” Han Jie said, motivating herself to forget what had happened. Or better yet leave it until she was alone so she could process what had happened better.
They got out of the car slowly and walked towards the elevator at the end of the garage.
While walking, Han Jie thoughts was still drifting back to their meeting. She was making sure that she did not miss out on anything. ‘Is Suzuki Kyou hiding something?’ Han Jie kept thinking.
He had been so cold when he had spoken about Wang Jin, but he still did not cause her further issues.
Jonah pressed the button for the elevator. After a few minutes, he tapped on it again.
“I think the elevator is broken, miss,” Jonah said, frustrated with the hotel.
“How could that be? JunJun just left and the elevator was working!”
Jonah frowned, and tried to press the elevator again, but it was still not working.
“Miss, it is really broken…” He said, sounding tired.
“Are you saying, we need to walk the stairs of the fire exit? I’m exhausted!” Han Jie asked.
‘What kind of five-star hotel has a broken elevator?’ She thought to herself with annoyance.
“Let me look for the guard, Miss. Stay here.” Jonah immediately said before he turned around as if leaving.
However, Han Jie grabbed his arm, stopping him.
“Don’t leave me!” She demanded, as she looked at the silent, parking lot. They were in the third level underground parking lot of the hotel, which seemed to be the last level as well. Because of this, the numbers of cars were not a lot. The light in the parking lot was also very scarce.
At this time, the parking lot looked eerie to her. Han Jie’s imagination started running wild. She could imagine the flickering of lights. There was also the possibility of a killer clown hiding behind one of the cars!
“Let’s go through the stairs then. Quickly.” Han Jie immediately suggested. She then pulled, dragged Jonah towards the fire exit.
Jonah nodded, and they moved in sync towards the stairs. After a couple of stairs, Han Jie stopped, and already breathing hard.
Jonah knew she was exaggerating and waited for her reason.
Han Jie looked up and glared at him.
“Can’t you see that I’m dying?” Han Jie asked incredulously.
“Of course I can, Miss. But we need to hurry. We don’t want any JunJun to appear anywhere near us.” Jonah said, smiling.
