My Naughty Fake Bride - 90 Other Proof
“I am not joking!” Wang Jin yelled, feeling offended.
“Oh, I see.” Suzuki Kyou’s uninterested reply.
Wang Jin gritted her teeth but still did her best to retain a good smile on her face. It was really baffling how a smart person could have a very low emotional intelligence. ‘Wait, probably he was just toying with me?’ She thought to herself with confusion.
“Both of you are really siblings.” Suzuki Kyou suddenly his face has an unreadable expression.
Wang Jin glared at him before she turned her face away. She could not blame him for saying this as her brother was really a nut job who wanted to be with him. ‘I am better, cause I am patient,’ Wang Jin tried to justify her action, as she ignored shame spreading in her whole being.
She then immediately decided to change her condition. You’ll owe me a favor if you do this,” Wang Jin said, her face still turned away.
“Ah favor? I cleaned up your friend’s mess after causing a very unnecessary and unwanted scandal. See, she is not in jail yet.”
Wang Jin pursed her lips before speaking, “That is different. Do you want the information or not?”
There was a short period of silence as Suzuki Kyou considered it. “Done,” He replied absent mindlessly.
Suzuki Kyou then leaned back into his chair at the opposite side of her. Wang Jin could not help but look at him suspiciously as if trying to understand why it was so easy for him to just agree.
‘Something is not right here…’ She thought to herself. However, it does not matter. As long as she got his word, it will be too easy to rile him up later.
Wang Jin let out a small smile and handed over the brown folder containing the manga pages to Suzuki Kyou. She had specifically chosen the pages that have noticeable features.
She pointed out Master Shu’s face, “See this? Looks familiar?” Wang Jin asked knowingly.
Suzuki Kyou looked at the drawing with full of seriousness. He then frowned deeply.
“You notice it didn’t you?” She asked, “This one here is Master Shu. Aren’t he looked so much like you” Wang Jin pointed out as she got up walked towards one of the shelves where a family photo of the Suzuki family was displayed. She then handed it over to him.
“If you are not sure, you can cross-reference your own face, using this.” She said playfully, “But trust me. I am really certain on the first sight,” Wang Jin continued as she drifted on to shelf behind Suzuki Kyou’s desk in the library.
Wang Jin fake browsed at the things in his desk, “Did I also mention that this comic here, manga as people from Country J, calls it is the gay version. Would you believe it? Master Shu being naughty with another guy in this book?” She asked casually.
Wang Jin was so into her rant that she did not notice Suzuki Kyou suddenly stiffening. She also was not able to notice a very tiny smile on his face before it disappeared before she could even notice it.
“Imagine if someone accidentally leaked that,” Wang Jin continued with a delighted smile. She straightened up and studied the books behind him. “Oh, the scandal. Secrets revealed,” She said, smiling evilly at the shelf in front of her.
“I don’t see the author’s name,” He suddenly pointing out in a soft voice making Wang Jin lose her smile. She didn’t turn back to face him. “Do you have any other proof other than this?” Suzuki Kyou asked thoughtfully.
Wang Jin tense up. “This… I can get her publisher to talk-” She said but was cut off.
“Talk? That can’t be used to get a refund or pay damages.” He said as he shook his head, impatient laced on his voice.
“But Kyou! This is already a scandal!” She exclaimed. Wang Jin also knew that he was right. More proof is needed.
“Sure,” He replied as he nodded agreeably, “But, most importantly, I do not like it when people threaten me,” Suzuki Kyou said as he stood up and faced Wang Jin, his cold eyes boring into her back. “Were you threatening me?” He asked coldly.
Wang Jin swallowed and turned around slowly. “Of course not,” She said, her voice trembling slightly.
“You are wasting my time. Are you very idle because you are also banned on the journalism world?” Suzuki Kyou asked, his voice laced with sarcasm, “Do you want me to make you idler? Or give you a job that you hate?” He asked.
“I’ll get other jobs, in my own terms.” Wang Jin said pride forcing her to tilt her head up and refuse to bow out gracefully.
“Get out and don’t come back. Unless you want to use your favor right now,” Suzuki Kyou said, not even raising his voice.
Wang Jin ran, snatching up the file as she left, not waiting for him to repeat himself.

A couple of hours earlier…
Han Mei considered chewing on her nails as she rode down the elevator at the Suzuki offices. She sniffled and tried as hard as she could to keep her tears in.
She scrunched up her nose as she brought her fingers dangerously close to her mouth. Suzuki Kyou had to be lying. She thought as she dropped her hands down to her side with an effort she didn’t believe could drain her as it did.
Han Mei rubbed her forehead and stared at the shining elevator buttons as she glided down. She couldn’t remember all the details of the reason for their marriage, but Han Mei was quite sure it was supposed to be a merger. She chewed on her lip nervously as she tried to recall all her father had said about her engagement to Suzuki Kyou.
‘Why is he so difficult to talk to? If he wanted, any damages are repairable, right? He is Suzuki Kyou!’ She thought in annoyance. Han Mei stamped her foot in a repressed temper tantrum because she couldn’t remember anything.
‘Why didn’t I listen? Or perhaps I should have recorder it and write it down.’ Han Mei asked herself bitterly as she regretted all the times her father had spoken about it, but she hadn’t been listening.
‘Next time.’ Han Mei vowed silently before jerking out of her thoughts. With the ways things are, Han Mei was sure that it was impossible to end the engagement. However, she still hoped that Suzuki Kyou would consider making an alternative arrangement a few days later.
The elevator pinged as its doors silently swished open. Han Mei took a deep breath and stepped out of the elevator. She raised her head a little higher than usual and walked confidently and quickly away from the elevator.
She really hoped no one saw any difference between her and her sister. The man from earlier was a good sign that they could still fool a lot of people, even when pretending.
While thinking this, Han Mei almost stumbled, her confident stride faltered, and she was walking as fast as she could out of the offices. She could feel the eyes of that creepy man on her.
Han Mei started chewing on her lip again as she stepped out of the building without looking left or right in case she caught the man’s eyes. At least now she could pretend like she hadn’t seen him if he actually caught her attention.
She looked around for a taxi before biting back the curses at the tip of her tongue. She had been so caught up in what Suzuki Kyou had said to her she had forgotten that she hadn’t ordered a taxi. And her car was most definitely not in the parking lot. Han Mei felt her mood plummet.
“Can I help you?” a voice asked from behind Han Mei said, causing her to jump and almost drop the phone she hardly been struggling to remove from her small purse. Han Mei turned around slowly as she recognized the voice.
“No it’s okay. I’m fine.” Han Mei said, her voice was mildly curious and pleasant as she took a full step back away from the creepy man who was most definitely wanted to be more than friends with her sister.
“You dropped your glove, again.” The man said with a smile again as he bent forward to pick it up without taking his eyes off her.
