My One And Only - Chapter 21 Sweet Revenge
Nina Saltzman dumped a bag in front of the big man. The big man beckoned to one of the men standing behind him. The man moved forward gracefully. Opening the bag, they could see hundreds and thousands of notes of cash bundled up inside. Looking behind, he nodded in affirmation.
The big man came closer. Nina couldn’t help but shudder slightly, she still stood her ground. He had a round face, shrewd eyes, lopsided mouth and reeked of tobacco. His well built muscles was covered in tattoos and his wrist had a viper sign engraved on it. Spitting some of it aside on the floor, he handed her the envelope.
She took the envelope eagerly, tore it open in a hurry and a series of photos fell. The photos were all about the night when Susan was raped. Smiling slightly, Nina thought about her sweet revenge.
” Don’t forget your end of the deal. ” The man reminded her in a slightly high pitched voice, staring coldly at her.
Nina nodded. Of course, how could she forget. The other end of the deal was to give Sofya Khemka to them.

Both of them were discharged after two days from the hospital. Susan was attempting to talk to Advay, but he was adamant on ignoring her. Whenever she came to his room, he either pretended to be asleep or engrossed in an important conversation. She didn’t understand his behavior, if he really didn’t want nothing to do with her, then why did he save her in the first place?
Moreover, she wanted to tell Advay that Arnav knew about them, rather to warn him not to disclose their further secrets.
Advay’s attitude towards Susan was one of indifference. But he was doing it a very heavy heart, against his will power. That night, he had been passing by that area as his car had broken down when he had seen a girl being harassed by some goons. Without thinking he had rushed in to save her. Nearing, he saw that the girl was none other than Susan. This made his blood boil, as he saw the girl he had loved and still loved, secretly in his heart, being hurt by them. His senses were alerted when he noticed the viper tattoo on wrist of one of the men. It was then that he had decided to protect her then onwards. But he could do so only by keeping a distance from her, by ignoring her.
Sofya was in big trouble with Arnav. Having not answered her phone and reached to the hospital the day after incident, Arnav was not letting off her easy. He had been pessimistic about this whole episode. Demanding to know where she had been this whole time, Sofya was forced to lie to him. She hated lying and was not at all good at it, but it was circumstantial. Susan was totally cool with it, too cool if it was to be believed, which led Arnav to have another round of suspicions that Sofya was hiding something from him.
Sofya had herself been doing some digging with the organization she was associated with, The Silent. Since Red Paladin had escaped, she had every reason to believe he would come back to hurt her, and the target won’t be her, rather her family, because that was how he operated. She had asked around the organization, even talked to the master but there was no news that he had triggered this attack. This had left her befuddled and thinking. She had been too convinced it was him.

Almost a week had been passed, and there was nothing new on board. Advay was still ignoring Susan and Arnav remained furious at Sofya. If anything, there was more trouble to be added.
Mr. Raizada had outwardly rejected Sofya’s advise to conduct a court marriage. Try as she might to persuade him, it only resolved his determination to throw a grand party.
” Everyone should know that you are becoming the daughter-in-law of Raizada family! ” He had argued reasonably, and Sofya had resigned the fact to him. Her only thoughts were how would Arnav react to this.
