My OP Minion System in the Apocalypse - Chapter 237 Intimidation
The high tower was an intimidating structure, towering high above the surrounding landscape, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe as I reached the top. From there, I could see everything I desired, the vast expanse of the land spread out before me like a tapestry. The scenery was breathtaking, with rolling hills, lush forests, and sparkling rivers. Even the village that I had earlier decimated was visible, although it was not very clear. I couldn’t help but wonder if there was something that could help me see distant objects with greater clarity.
As a man from medieval times, I knew about binoculars, but in this world, my thoughts were different. The world around me had taken over my senses, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder and curiosity about the things I saw. I went down from the high tower and made my way to the new residents’ area. I ventured to the weapons maker’s area, where I met an old weapon and tool maker. He was an old man, with wrinkles etched deeply into his face, and a kind of wisdom in his eyes that comes from a lifetime of experience. Some people had been here for ages, not knowing about new technology or how to make things.
I told him about binoculars, and he listened with great interest. He said that making binoculars wasn’t very difficult, but there was a problem. The materials needed to make binoculars weren’t available. We would first have to make glass, which wasn’t available in this world. It might take some time, as we didn’t have any technology to make glass. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment, but I knew that things take time.
I left the place, my mind preoccupied with thoughts of the intelligence variant I had sent out to collect information about an attack on my outpost. I wanted to know who was making advances towards my outposts, and if there was anything I could do to protect my people.
As I made my way back to my house, I picked up my sword, wanting to exchange it for a new sword from the weapons maker’s village. I came out and handed it to the minion manager, and asked him to bring me that new sword. He nodded and left, but before he left, I stopped him and told him to bring one for Chloe as well, and tell her to come to the training grounds.
The minion manager went to collect my sword and I advanced towards the training ground. I noticed that there were more soldiers standing in the training ground than before. I remembered that I had earlier told the minion manager to create more men for me, and it seemed that he had done so. I opened the advanced control menu to check the new numbers we had. The training ground was bustling with activity, with soldiers practicing their swordsmanship, archery and other combat skills. The sight filled me with a sense of pride and determination, knowing that my people were strong and ready to defend themselves.

Now I had more than 1000 combat division minions at my disposal, and among them, I would soon have 88 stage 1 warrior minions. The 400 warrior minions in my army were formidable fighters, capable of decimating any opposing force that dared to challenge us. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride as I looked upon my growing army, they were filling up the training grounds with ease, but there was still room for more. More minions that could stand in this ground to strengthen my city, and most importantly, me.
As I was inspecting my army, Chloe came and asked me why I had called her. The minion manager also came a few seconds after her, he had two swords in his hand. He handed one to Chloe and the second one to me. Chloe seemed to understand the purpose of my summons.
“So, you want to train with me, is that right?” She asked me, her sword held steady in her hand.
“You can never be wrong; you are a warrior, and a warrior is always right,” I replied, and launched an attack.
She was quick on her feet, successfully defending herself, but I could tell she was not ready for my sudden attack. I didn’t let up, and continued to press my offensive, raining down strikes upon her. Chloe was not prepared for this relentless assault, and it seemed to disorient her. But she was a skilled warrior, and she quickly regained her footing, launching counterattacks of her own.
“That wasn’t cool, you attacked me without any warning. Now defend yourself,” She roared at me, her voice filled with determination. Her strikes became stronger, more powerful, as she fought to match my own.
Chloe was a fearless warrior, her fighting skills were unparalleled among any human I had ever seen. This is the reason why she always wanted to join battles with my minions. She was a fierce fighter, but her expertise was limited to the battlefield. She didn’t possess the strategic mind to control an army or use it to weaken the enemy. She didn’t understand the mind tricks and manipulation that were crucial in battle.
She was like those brute force minions, who were nothing but raw power. They would perform their actions without hesitation, even if it meant their destruction, as long as it fulfilled the wish of their master. She also didn’t care about her own safety, her only desire was to be in the midst of battle.
