My Queen Of Terra - Chapter 232 ***PLS DO NOT OPEN

She was not aware that the King wrote it but she knew the seal as the owner’s name was written on it.

“The Queen’s seal!” She stepped back and glanced at Raigon in bewilderment.

Zoe was smiling as she was happy that the Queen finally gave a chance to Azra. She witnessed how she was so against him when they went to her Chamber. It was out of her imagination that she would permit Azra to be free.

But her blitheness diffused slowly when Raigon rubbed the back of his neck.

“How did you manage to obtain the letter, your Highness?”

Erin also asked in disbelief as she has heard stories from Lord Hou how wicked she could be.

Raigon’s hand brushed his hair as he gave Zoe a pained look.

Zoe swallowed hard as she felt like she understood what that gaze meant.

‘He must have made a bargain to the Queen in expense of our relationship.’

Zoe drew in a deep breath as she felt how hard it is for him to talk about it.

“It doesn’t matter how. What matters is Azra’s safe now.”

She gave an encouraging smile to everyone hiding her despair.

Raigon rubbed his forehead as he was so scared to break Zoe’s heart. But still he needs to let them know about it before they learned it from somebody else.

He was about to speak up when Erin voiced out what has been bothering her, deviating the topic and his focus as well.

“I thank God for this wonderful opportunity. But what about us? I’m pretty much sure that the Queen is after Zoe.”

Raigon’s eyes widened in surprise at Erin’s comment.

‘How could she have known about the Queen’s intentions against her?’

Zoe also narrowed her eyes on Erin as she has no idea how she managed to make that remark.

Seeing the befuddled look of Zoe and the Crowned Prince, Azra spoke up.

“Lord Hou told us about the past -”

He was about to continue on when he realized that the Crowned Prince is Her Majesty’s son. And he doesn’t want him to think ill of his mother.

Thinking that this was his opportunity to open up the topic that he asked a while ago to Zoe, making everyone’s jaw drop open in bafflement.

“What do you think about getting out of this island?”

But Zoe raised up her hand. “I was actually thinking about the same thing.”

“What?!” Azra and Erin exclaimed in unison.

“I’m glad you agree.” Raigon gazed at Zoe longingly.

Then he added, “We can leave as soon as we finish Azra’s case.”

“But I’m not thinking about you coming with us, your Highness. It’s only me and Erin, if she will agree with me.”

Zoe glanced at Erin who shook her head in dubiety. “And why would I leave?”

Azra interrupted in as he agreed with Zoe.

“But what about us?” Erin asked Azra, oblivious of the people around him.

“Yes, what about us?” Raigon asked Zoe also, making her pause for a few seconds.

“Can you really leave Terra and your family because of me?”

Zoe narrowed her eyes on Raigon and asked him sincerely.

“I can. I know it’s not right, but I can’t imagine myself living without you.”

Raigon nodded his head as instructed by his heart to the disagreement of his mind.

Azra shook his head as he opposed to the idea of the Crowned Prince leaving the island.

Zoe’s lips curled up as she heard his response.

‘That’s enough as a takeaway.’

“You could but you wouldn’t. Because you’re Terra’s Crowned Prince.”

Her face brightened into an understanding smile. Then she added.

“This must be the same scene when King Artair asked Lady Asha to leave the island with him. Now I understand why my Mama made that decision. She must be really in love with your father.”

Her cheeks lifted as she felt like she was nearer to her mother, as she felt the same mixed emotions she must have felt back then in the exact place.

Raigon was speechless at Zoe’s remark. But he also felt the same agony that his father experienced back then which made him ask his beloved to run away with him even though he knew what was at stake.

And yet, he still was in a dilemma because of his love for his country.

“You’re right. We’re reliving it. Will you also make the same choice as Lady Asha in my request?”

Zoe froze for a few seconds. Does this question mean do I want to be like my Mama or not?

“How about you, do you want to be like your father?”

Zoe retorted back to him.

Azra and Erin were now staring at them as they exchange their ball.

As he was saying so, they heard a boat nearing toward them from outside of Terra.

All of their eyes shot up in alertness.

“Is that a sign?”

Zoe blurted out as it was so unusual for a boat from other land to be here not unless it was a cruise ship like the one where she has been before.

The idea of seeing the other parts of the world again excites her. But as she saw Raigon with his agonizing look, she became double minded again.

Still, how could she stay when no one wants her around?

She drew in a deep breath and bowed to him formally.

“What do you think is best for everybody, your Highness? We will submit to you.”

Azra also made the same bow and so did Erin as the sound of the boat came nearer and nearer.
