My Queen Of Terra - Chapter 235 THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE
As they did so, the crowd gave them incredulous looks, seeing them wear Hanfu dresses with their hair dressed up like the ones from historical dramas.
“Uh-oh, what should we do now?” Erin bit her nails as she knew how outlandish they appear right now in the literal sense.
Zoe flipped her hair and fluttered her lashes. “We have been through great hardships. Let’s show them what we got.”
Zoe made a formal bow then smiled and waved her hand at them.
Erin imitated her but she gave Zoe an astonished glance.
“This must be her coping mechanism now.”
She thought to herself as she watched her waved her hand glamorously like a regal queen.
The crowd clapped their hands, thinking that they must be actresses or models who just came to the island for a shoot.
“Thank you. Thank you.”
Zoe tried her best to enjoy the thrill of coming back to the world where she came from.
She fought the urge to look back and regret that she made the decision.
With Zoe’s act, the onlookers immediately welcomed them on board.
As they climbed on, Zoe gazed at the structure of the cruise ship.
“Wait, this looks familiar.”
She searched around until she reached the Captain’s deck.
“Captain Nikky?”
Captain Nikky narrowed his eyes on her, wondering if he has met her before.
Zoe bowed down to him in a Terran way only to shook her head as she realized that she was not in Terra anymore.
“I have been in the Reeftastic Tour before. I am really not expecting you to remember me. But I’m grateful to see you again.”
“Glad to be of service, Ma’am. It’s great to see second timers around. Especially celebrities. Did you enjoy your stay?”
He smiled at them admiringly.
It was not the first time for him to encounter celebrities shooting on the island. Since Lord Howe Island and the islands around it were one of the top most beautiful places in their country.
“I truly did. I am really looking forward to coming back.”
Erin clasped her hands in front of her chest as she swayed from side to side, remembering her good times with Azra.
Captain Nikky chuckled in response to Erin’s childlike glee. Then both of them looked at Zoe and waited for her answer.
‘Did I?’
Zoe thought to herself as she thought about everything that happened during her stay at Terra.
She recalled her times with Gao Zemin, the Liu’s, the Xianghais, the royal physicians, the Castle servants, the royal family and most importantly, her times with the land’s Crowned Prince.
From serving the people together to finally remembering and showing their affection to one another amidst the hindrances to their relationship.
“Yes. I enjoyed it. Every moment.” She uttered at last.
Erin grinned from ear to ear and hugged her friend sideways.
“You will also come back?” Captain Nikky continued to prod on as if he was just pretending that he has no idea where they have been to.
“Sure. If they will invite us again.” Zoe answered him with all honesty.
‘And unless they don’t, I won’t.’
This was the first time that she was heartbroken and she knew that it was not his intentions to.
“Five more minutes and we’ll leave the area. Please get ready.”
Someone announced from the crowd.
Zoe was not familiar with him as he was expecting the tour guide to be Koby.
“Captain Nikky, is Koby not around anymore?”
“Koby Nevin? Yes. After the terrorist attack incident six months ago, he left the island too. It was not him alone but also the other workers on this island.”
“T-terorrist attack?”
Zoe and Erin glanced wide-eyed at each other.
‘Is it perhaps the terrorist attack that we encountered then?’
Seeing their flustered look, he waved his hands to dismiss the issue, thinking that they might grow wary of the island because of it.
“That was six months ago. It didn’t happen again ever since.”
Even though Captain Nikky tried his best to calm them down, Zoe bit her lips and looked down as she recalled details of that unfortunate incident.
“I better ready the boat. See you in a while, young ladies.”
He spoke up and scratched his head.
As the motor of the boat started its engine again, Zoe looked at the Ball’s Pyramid for the last time.
Erin did the same.
“Are we really leaving them now?”
Erin’s shoulders dropped down as she really wanted to be beside Azra.
Zoe drew in a deep breath as she cannot answer it. She also felt the same way.
She wanted to be with him and be his support person through his challenges as the Crowned Prince of the land.
But she doesn’t want him to risk his life just to make it happen. And he doesn’t want her to experience the same either.
“So this is what it feels like.”
She has never been heartbroken before as she did not have a man in her entire life.
Seeing Raigon giving his life for her everytime she was in danger, made her think that she would not experience being brokenhearted in her relationship with him.
“All aboard. We’re going back to Lord Howe Island.”
The new tourist guide announced again.
But another thing that is breaking her heart is that she wanted to hold on in spite of the hindrances.
She recalled Raigon’s last words, that he would find her again once things settled down.
“Can I really trust you with that?”
She whispered through the winds as the boat took them farther and farther away from Terra.
“Goodbye Raigon….for now.”

“Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who truly love one another.”
