My Queen Of Terra - Chapter 239 ***PLS DO NOT OPEN
Raigon and Azra had just left the Royal Investigation Area.
“You can now go back to Hengcheng Mountains so you can recover fully.”
In a fraction of a second, Azra bowed down and uttered.
“I will go wherever you will go, your Highness.”
Raigon couldn’t help but smile at his faithful servant who never failed to show his loyalty even in physical deficiencies.
No wonder he would go to extreme means just to save his life.
“It’s up to you. But tell me when you’re exhausted or you need to take a break. You know I have a lot on hand. And Zoe isn’t around with us to check our health.”
At the mention of her name, she paused for a few seconds, wondering how she was doing at the other island.
‘Is she eating well? Is she enjoying her time back on the world where she really came from?’
He hoped that it was the case. As much as he wanted to be with her right at this very minute, he wanted her to be happy. At least for now where everything here is chaotic.
If he really wanted Zoe to stay here, he must do his responsibilities well.
“Let’s go.”
He drew in a deep breath and went on to proceed to the man who owned the carriage where the cupcakes had been delivered so he could talk to him in detail.
“Your Highness.”
He immediately bowed down to them. He was a little dumbfounded when he saw Lord Azra as he recalled that he was supposed to be hidden with Lady Selena.
But now that he was with the Crowned Prince, he knew he would be safe now.
He bowed to Azra with his cheeks lifted upward.
“I remember you. You’re the one who owned the cart with the itchy hays!”
The man scratched his head and scrunched up his forehead as he can’t remember meeting the Crowned Prince before.
But when he studied his face closely, he recalled a young man that he once bumped at the Capital where the whole stack of hays that he was delivering somewhere fell over him.
“If you’re the Crowned Prince, then your father then is KING ARTAIR!”
He flailed his hands in horror as the realization dawned on him. At the speed of light, he fell down to his knees and apologized to him.
“Forgive me for my impudence, your Highness!”
Raigon chuckled lightly as he remembered that incident. It was the moment when his Father brought him to the Capital in disguise, teaching him the ways of the world.
Raigon bowed to him as he remembered him giving him a boar brush that is worth a month’s wage, even when he thought he was just an ordinary citizen.
“Thank you for bestowing kindness to me then until now. And for showing me that there were enough good citizens in Terra worth fighting for.”
He lifted him to his feet and continued to offer his gratitude.
“Tell me what you want and I’ll grant it to you.”
He lifted his hands and replied unhesitatingly. As he accompanied them in their mission to free Lord Azra, he had seen the Queen’s partiality and Lord Vigo’s vicious greed.
If any of them stays on the throne, he was worried about what could happen to Terra.
Raigon bowed down to him. “Thank you for your support. It means a lot. When I have seated on the throne, I will give you another chance to answer this question again if ever you have additional requests.”
With the number of people that are opposing him, having another one to his side is enough to strengthen him in his quest.
“Are you ready to accompany me to the Royal Council to testify against the Royal Guards?”
“Absolutely, your Highness.”
He joined Raigon and Azra and the three of them went to the Castle.
Then he called on the Royal Council for a meeting.
“I am here on behalf of the King and Queen of Terra.”
“May the royal family rule forever.”
The Royal Councilors bowed their heads and greeted him.
He then presented the letter of the King signed by the Queen and the witness.
“As you all know, the Queen was poisoned a few days ago and Azra Hou has been the suspect because the cupcakes were made in their residence. But a brave man showed up and gave information that it was not the case.
Tell them what happened.”
Raigon commanded the delivery man to speak.
The delivery man then told them all the details that he said to Azra and the Crowned Prince regarding the arsenic smell on his carriage after the royal guards checked it.
“You mean the royal guards have something to do with the assassination of the Queen?”
They exclaimed in disbelief at one another.
“But why would they do that? What do they have against the Queen?”
“It could be someone instructed them to do so.”
Raigon finally spoke up.
“I suggest we should arrest the royal guards that were on duty in the route that the delivery man took during that day. We should interview them separately and make sure that they speak the truth or their whole family will be put in prison.”
“Yes, your Highness.”
The Royal Secretary immediately made a royal command, which was not objected by any of the Royal Council members as they were also concerned with the Queen’s safety.
“I also want the Hous to be compensated by being unjustly treated without proper investigation.”
He reiterated to them what he told Lord Vigo in the Royal Investigation Area.
The Royal Council glanced at each other at the sudden boldness of the Crowned Prince.
Some of them objected, especially those who were with Duke Andras, but those who served with the Hous for a long time sided with Raigon.
In the end, it is the Crowned Prince’s decision that prevailed.

Sometimes we need people to simply be there. Not to fix anything or do anything in particular. But just to let us feel that we are supported and cared about.
