My Queen Of Terra - Chapter 249 LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION 2
Some of the guards have already left to patrol the other areas. However, some were still left as if they were getting a thrill out of the view.
Seeing that the coast is still not empty, Erin raised her hand and introduced a game.
“I know, let’s do the most beautiful dive contest!”
“Here goes our event coordinator again,” Zoe whispered to Raigon as she floated beside him.
“It’s okay. The guards wouldn’t suspect us as long as we are having the time of our lives. Are you having fun right now?”
Raigon asked her in a voice so low it could sink under the waters.
“Yes.” She answered as a smile worked its way into her mouth, her whole body and soul thrilled in the nearness of him.
“How about you?” Zoe then curiously asked him.
Now that she was cleared of her negative thoughts about him and somehow knew the effort that he has been through to fix things at Terra, she felt empathetic towards him. And she desired for him to be blissful even in just a few moments.
“Of course. I’m with you now.”
A satisfied smile played on his mouth as he gazed at her lovely wife-to-be. She was like a rainfall that dampened his dry and barren life caused by the turmoils around him. Even though she was a part somehow, without her, his life would be like one whole lifetime of trudging.
He wanted to maximize his time with her right and then. But they have a situation on hand.
“Let’s do this again next time. But with just the two of us.”
A mischievous grin lifted as his smoldering gaze bored into hers, making her warm feeling exposed in her reddening cheeks, as she imagined what could happen if there were only the two of them around.
As they were having a relationship talk, Azra quickly called on their attention.
“Want to join our contest?”
He then swam to the area where they are and gave them a heads up.
“I think a royal guard is getting suspicious, your Highness. We need to level up our tourist disguise.”
Zoe nodded as she shouted. “I’m in!”
“All right, let’s see who’s the best diver among us! The ladies will go first!”
Raigon yelled at a volume loud enough to be heard by the guards on duty.
“Yoohoo! I’m going to win this for sure!” Erin shouted in glee as she climbed up the boat.
Zoe followed after her, giving a quick glance at the guards. At their efforts, she hoped that they could make them believe that they were just there to have fun and they have no intentions to intrude in Terra.
But it seemed like those who were left were not moving at all and remained unflinching even just a minute step.
Then she drew in a deep breath before she ran towards the edge of an improvised diving board and jumped in the air.
As she floated, she then twisted her body like a tornado before her feet pierced through the waters.
“Woah!” The three of them gasped in amazement, making them distracted for a few seconds at Erin’s astounding performance.
“It seems like there’s a winner already! I don’t want to jump anymore!” Zoe chuckled as she clapped her hands for her friend.
Raigon and Azra also did the same as they were both amazed at her execution.
“I think it’s working, your Highness. Some of the guards were also clapping, and some decided to leave the scene, except for one who stayed behind.”
Raigon nodded as he was grateful somehow that the royal guards were keen on guarding their land. As they spent more time being on the suspected side, he also felt guilty as he felt the condemnation of being disobedient to the rule in their land, a thing that he must not do as a Crowned Prince.
With this, he vowed to himself to make sure that he will not leave the land unless necessary from now on.
‘Zoe’s with me now anyway. I have no reason to leave anymore.’
“We cannot change our plan until security is completely cleared. It is easy for him to call on others when he suspects something.”
Raigon resolved as he floated to his back, pretending to be a happy-go-lucky fellow who seemed to have nothing to do in life but to have fun.
A thing which he didn’t want at all as he loved having duties and responsibilities. But a thing which he wished he could have from time to time.
“You try it, girl! Even just for fun ’cause I’m the winner already!” Erin shouted from the waters.
“Okay! Here’s to Australia, the land that restored back my identity!”
Zoe inhaled a lungful of air as she jumped high enough so she could do triple somersault in the air before landing in their midst.
“Woah! Is that my girl over there?” Erin clapped her hands with wide eyed bewilderment as she asked Azra.
Raigon was astounded as well as a disbelieving smile worked its way in his mouth.
“I think no one would dare stop you girls from anything you want to do. You’re both beautiful and talented! Is there anything that you cannot do?”
“No.” Zoe grinned as her head bobbed up in the waters after her skillfully carried out dive.
His lips formed a roguish curve as he answered back to her. “I think I will soon find out.”
Zoe’s eyebrows knitted together but Azra knew what he meant as he shook his head.
‘He was really determined to make her his.’
