My Queen Of Terra - Chapter 252 TREATING THE KING OF TERRA 3

In a quick turn of events, the King was already transferred to a room where he could be comfortable treated.

The royal physicians who were assigned to the royal family rushed inside, including Physician Sheng Tun.

Raigon made it sure that Duke Andras would not be around.

“Father, please hold on.”

He hold the King’s hand firmly with his right hand while his other hand wiped the beads of sweat that formed on his father’s forehead.

Meanwhile, Zoe was clutching and unclutching her hands as they itched to go on top of the King’s chest and revive it back to life.

‘If this wouldn’t be treated for a few more minutes, the King will die!’

As if Raigon heard her thoughts, he turned around so he could face her, as she was just at his back.

“Do your thing.” He ordered her in a commanding but soft voice, with both authority and plea mixed into one.

Zoe nodded her head and climbed on the King’s bed.

“What are you doing?”

The royal physicians jaw dropped at her scandalous act as they have never seen a single lady who make an advance move and not just to any man but to the King himself.

And the Crowned Prince even ordered her to do so!

They have witnessed her treat the Queen then. But this was different.

As they were murmuring, the topic of their discussion appeared on the scene.

“Your Majesty!”

They all bowed down to the Queen who rushed to the room like a bat from hell as soon as she learned of the situation of her husband and King.

Zoe went down and bowed up to her waist to the mother of her beloved and the Queen of Terra.

Queen Rose immediately went to his side, her hands touching every part of his body as if she was trying to heal it with them.

“Can you treat him?”

The Queen now gave attention to Zoe making all the eyes popped open at her remark, including Zoe’s.

The last time that she recalled, she was accusing her of the instigator of her assassination.

‘Is Raigon right? Did she really trust me to treat the King now?’

Meanwhile, the Royal Council members who were present and the royal physicians continued to murmur.

“How could the Crowned Prince and the Queen trust this lady physician whom we had just encountered recently to treat the King of this land?”

But the Queen would not be perturbed. The royal physicians had already treated the King before but his recovery was as slow as snail.

Meanwhile, Zoe couldn’t speak as her heart wanted to come out of her chest.

‘How can I treat him with all these eyes ogling at me?’

Zoe drew in a deep breath.

‘Come what may. I need to save the King.’

Making a firm decision, Zoe bowed down to the Queen. “I will do my best, your Majesty. But I have a favor to ask of you.”

Every ear in the room grew attentive to the strange lady in front of them.

“Let me treat him privately with only a few choiced people to help me.” Zoe put her arms in the level of her eyes and bowed down.

“No, your Majesty! Please don’t allow her. Who knows if she is hired to kill the King?”

One of the royal council member reacted to her request. His appeal was agreed upon by the royal physicians as they fell to their knees and begged the Queen.

“Please allow us to see her medical intervention, your Majesty!”

Raigon controlled himself from butting in as he waited for the Queen’s order.

The Queen clamped her lips as she thought about her decision. It is easy to just allow the royal physicians to scrutinize Lady Asha’s work. It was also what she wanted if only he was a different person like the servant with the ulcer case.

But it was the King and the love of her life! Even if she has ill feelings toward her, she admits that she is skilled in her craft and could extend his life.

And she has witnessed how unorthodoxed her method is.

She even tried to stop it herself. With all these people around her, she couldn’t see how she could pull through until the end.

‘Artair…’

Now her attention went to the King. Her heart thumped so loud that it is impossible to not be heard by the people nearest to her. She was not ready to be a widow just yet!

A bright idea came to her mind. She bowed down to everyone and spoke out her decision being the Queen Regent of Terra.

“I express my gratitude to your concern. But please leave now.”

Raigon and Zoe’s eyes widened in delight at the Queen’s approval.

“Please reconsider, your Majesty!”

The royal physicians continued to kowtow to the Queen..

“I have made my final decision. However, you need not be afraid. If anything happens to the King during the process and he dies, Lady Asha will be sentenced to death as well.”

“Your Majesty! She was just trying to help.”

Now it was Raigon’s turn to react to the Queen’s judgement. His eyes narrowed at her, wondering if she has just tricked him into believing that he has finally won her over.

He glanced Zoe’s way to see her reaction. And to his surprise, she bowed down to the Queen and responded positively.

“I will be glad to give my life in service of the King.”

“Your grace is immeasurable, your Majesty!”

The royal physicians and council members bowed down to the Queen. They seemed to be satisfied as they left the room one by one.

Queen Rose then bowed down to Zoe and expressed her sincere request.

“I know you can treat the King. I am counting on you.” She immediately turned her back to them.

Raigon and Zoe’s sullen face lifted up as they scrambled to the King’s side.
