My Queen Of Terra - Chapter 258 ***PLS DO NOT OPEN
The smile that Zoe had inside the King’s chamber wouldn’t leave her face even though they were already outside and along the Castle’s hallways.
Zoe and Raigon allowed the King to have a rest so he can regain his strength quickly. For the meantime, Raigon invited her out so he could tour her around the Castle. He wasn’t able to do this before as Zoe was always working whenever she was there.
Now he wanted her to relax and enjoy her time.
“God must have recognized your sincerity.” Raigon responded to her.
Relief and joy welled up inside him as well as he saw her giving herself selflessly without expecting anything in return. A character that endeared her to him like a boulder that sank down in the deepest ocean that no one could ever remove.
Zoe glanced at Raigon. Satisfaction pursed her mouth as she appreciated that he can see through her even without her telling him about herself. Her walk turned buoyant and cheerful. She felt wonderful to be with someone who sees the good side of her even though there were others who don’t think the same way.
“What is that?” She pointed to a small fenced area with swords and arrow target boards, her eyes widened in obvious interest.
“Do you want to go there?” Raigon grinned as he led her to the location.
Zoe’s lips curved into an amused smile as she gazed at what seemed to be like a training area to learn how to fight.
“This is where they have trained me.” Raigon picked up a sword and showed her moves to Zoe making her lips bubble into laughter as joy shone through her eyes.
“So this is where you spent your childhood.” She puts her hands to her waist, still smiling at him.
“Yeah. This is my most favorite part. That one -”
He then pointed to another area enclosed with a high-arched roof enclosed with walls that were decorated with emerald stones. It looked like it just came out from a story book.
- is the most boring part. I spend the whole day with my nose on the books. Ugh!” Raigon grimaced as he imagined himself travelling back in time.
“I see that we have a difference now. I love books!” Zoe clasped her hands to her chest. “Please take me there too!”
Raigon winced in disbelief. “Are you sure?”
“Yeah. But maybe next time. I don’t have much time with me. For now, teach me how to fight.” Zoe flashed her sweetest smile as she swiveled from side to side.
Raigon’s head jerked back as he gave Zoe an incredulous look. However, his lips curved up as he wanted her also to know how to defend herself in case anything goes wrong.
“Let’s do that.” His skilled hand ran through the swords and picked up a lightweight one. “Here I think you could -”
“I like this one.” Zoe was waving a sword which almost touched him if he didn’t step back at once.
He swiveled to her back and cradled her with his defined arms so he can help her hold the sword properly.
Meanwhile, Zoe’s gleeful mood began to switch into something else as she felt his broad and powerful chest behind her back. Her heart started hammering wildly in her chest.
“Grab it like this with your dominant hand and the pommel with your non-dominant hand.”
Raigon instructed her. As he did so, he gently raked her silky smooth hair backward so he could see her hands clearly. Then he peered over her right shoulder so he could lean forward.
But then, her natural fragrant scent touched his nose making his focus shift to Zoe’s lovely face. She was also staring at him with her moist lips slightly opened as she was being uncomfortable with what he was doing.
They were in this position when Princess Ara, Raigon’s second sister appeared on the scene.
She looked uncommonly well in her low-necked dress; and the single string of pearls she wore not only showed off the youthful beauty of her neck, but reminded the world at large that her Father is the King.
“Is she really here to treat Father or to get closer with you?” One of her eyebrows raised as she crossed her arms.
Zoe’s arms froze but she managed to step forward so she could distance herself from Raigon and made a formal bow to her.
“Greetings, your Highness.”
“Princess Ara…”
Raigon also tilted his head downward. But he immediately went to her side, and put his arms around her.
“When did you get back?” An inner glow radiated in his face as he seemed to be happy to see his younger sister again.
Starting with the situation where there are rumors about intruders coming in Terra, the King and Queen decide that they continue studying in one of their Mansions at Zen Lin Valley. It is very far from the mainland and guarded with highly skilled royal guards.
Raigon thought that they might have heard the news about the royal family issues that’s why they immediately went there.
But his sister was in a different mood as she shrugged her shoulders.
“Just in time to see what I have to see.” Princess Ara answered him, but more so to Zoe as she drawled on every word.
Zoe bit her lips as she seemed to start on the wrong foot. Still, she decided to lift her head as she knew that she was not doing anything wrong.
“I apologize if I have offended you but it’s not what you think it is, your Highness.”
“Then what is it? And why are you here instead of the King’s Chamber?”
Raigon stepped backward as he finally saw what was going on.
“Ara, she is the one who saved Father. She was here because I invited her here. Father is resting right now. But do you want to see him?”
He furrowed his brows as he gave a quick glance to Zoe who seemed to be controlling herself as she remained unbelievably calm and composed.
