My Second Life in Another World - Chapter 397: It Doesn't Matter
“Are you not worried about him?” Soo-young looked at Hae-in. it didn’t seem correct to see her just stand there while Haru could be heavily injured or possibly dead.
‘Were they not that close?’ Soo-young thought as Hae-in just pointed behind them and…
“What is the need to be worried?” Soo-young and Dok-ja looked back to see Haru standing there without any problems aside from the dust on his clothes and the fact that…
“…”
“Are you that shocked to see me uninjured?” Haru asked as he tilted his head.
‘I don’t think that is the problem,’ Dok-ja smiled wryly looking at Haru who had his long hair falling down on his back.
It seemed like his hair tie broke with the attack from before and now others were suffering the damage because of him.
[The Constellation ‘I Like Feet’ is clearing her throat.]
[The Constellation ‘Lady Sleeping in Brocade’ is looking at the screen unblinkingly.]
[The constellation ‘Demonic Judge of Fire’ is in disbelief.]
[The Constellation ‘Noble Child of The Sun’ has left the chat.]
[The Constellation ‘She Who Invites’ is smiling knowingly.]
[The Constellation ‘Goddess of Love and Beauty’ is saying she is about to faint.]
[The Constellation ‘The Alluring Enchantress’ is licking her lips.]
[The Constellation ‘He Who Invites’ is sharpening his spear.]
[The Constellation ‘Prisoner of the Golden Headband’ is saying ‘He just like me.’]
[The Constellation ‘Abyssal Black Flame Dragon’ can’t see the point behind this.]

Haru had all of the female constellations acting weirdly just like the ones who were looking at him at the moment, but…
“Hae-in the bag should have some hair ties,” Haru just turned to Hae-in who had the bags, he knew there should be some in there since Zenobia was the one who packed his bag.
“Hmm, why not leave it that way for a little while?” Hae-in said and Haru shook his head.
“It will get in the way, so I’ll just tie it,” Haru said as Hae-in reluctantly gave him the hair tie.
“Haru-ssi, did you use the illusion on the parasite at the end to make it appear like you were hit?” Dok-ja asked as he recovered from the damage, he needed to change the topic quickly at this point.
‘And if so, why were we also caught in it?’ Dok-ja thought since it would be weird if Haru didn’t get any injuries after he tanked that attack but the main thing he wanted to know was something else.
“No, that wasn’t working on her and I actually took quite the damage so thankfully I blocked the attack,” Haru said with a sigh as he tied his hair successfully which did upset many female constellations who constantly bombarded him with messages but he didn’t care much.
“Are you alright?” Dok-ja asked since it would be even more troublesome if Haru also got injured or got poisoned.
“No broken bones,” Haru said with a thumbs up, and Dok-ja sighed in relief.
“It isn’t like he would be in trouble even if he was injured, he stabbed a woman in the chest and she still didn’t die you know,” Soo-young said as she crossed her arms, she wasn’t delicate about the subject like Dok-ja and just dove into it head first.
‘What got into her?’ Dok-ja thought but what she said was indeed true, what Haru did at the time wasn’t something normal.
“So, do you have a healing skill as well?” Soo-young asked the question while looking at Haru.
“Depends,” Haru said just that and Dok-ja saw a message…
Yu Jung-hyuk: He isn’t lying.
‘Well, there must be some sort of conditions set to use it, maybe a limit?’ Dok-ja knew that this was a vague answer but they should be thankful that they got any answer at all since all three of them have been Haru’s opponents by choice or by circumstances.
And as they were talking about this…
“Kyaaaak!” Antinus lost to Lycaon and fell to the ground coughing up blood from her injuries.
‘It is not that she is weaker than Lycaon, but she is also being hit for breaking the laws of Probability which is making her weaker, so Lycaon has the upper hand,’ Dok-ja thought.
“Give up Antinus, there still may be a way for you to fulfill your duties, don’t be foolish,” And as Lycaon was now talking to Antinus trying to persuade her one last time, she suddenly made a beeline towards them at her top speed before her opponent could react.
“Damn it!! Master she is planning on injecting mana into the meteorite,” Lycaon shouted since Antinus was really fast and was just about to reach the meteorite, he may be fast but Antinus easily had him beat in terms of pure speed.
“I knew you would do that,” Haru said as he jumped right in front of Antinus to stop her but….
“Kyaak!” Antinus used her wings to turn sharply even at her top speed and dodged Haru easily.
“You may be able to keep up when I attack you, but aside from that you don’t have any means to catch up to me besides that illusion of yours which will not work on me again,” Antinus said as she reached the Meteorite and started to inject Mana into it.
“I will make all of you pay!!!” Antinus shouted thinking back on how her race was destroyed by a human, so she wanted to do the same, she wanted to destroy this world where that human was, she wanted to kill everyone here like what happened with her race.
This vengeance was the reason she chose to become a guide, and now she was going to use this opportunity to complete her revenge.
But as soon as she blinked she found that the meteorite in front of her was gone.
“You are wrong about the Illusion, it is working completely fine now that you are weaker thanks to your stunt,” Haru said as he beheaded Antinus.
‘What?’ Antinus’s head rolled on the ground and she saw that the distance between her current position was quite far from the meteorite, so it was clear that Haru tricked her into going in the opposite direction, but how did his illusion work on her when he could only trap her for a few seconds before?
And that too by using his King’s privilege, so it shouldn’t be possible for now.
Antinus looked at Haru hatefully but soon her eyes widened since she could see numerous tiny white lights circle around Haru.
‘Why are so many constellations watching him?’ That was the only question on her mind but soon…
‘Wait, is that why he fought me at the start?’ Antinus thought back on how Haru came forward to fight her when he should’ve left it to Lycaon.
It wasn’t something like cockiness or overconfidence that spurred the action, but a plan.
And that plan was to have her attack him at full force with the intention to kill him, by doing so he made her violate her contract a lot of times and the constellations who cared for him filed a complaint against her since she was creating chaos, well that itself didn’t matter to the constellations if she did it to someone else.
But her actions were putting their favorite incarnation at risk which is why they reported her so fast and the bureau took action which weakened her quickly, then she lost against Lycaon forcing her to go for the Meteorite in a last-ditch effort.
And then in her current weakened state where she could no longer defend as the level gap between them lessened, she got hit by his Illusion and lost.
The more Antinus thought the more she could understand what had happened.
“Damn it all!!” Antinus screamed as her body turned into a puddle of yellow liquid.
“Is she dead?” Hae-in asked coming closer to Haru.
“I dunno, but most likely not,” Haru shrugged since he didn’t get any indication that she is dead which means that…
“She most likely isn’t dead, Antinus is a troublesome foe to deal with,” Lycaon said this since he knew her back on Chronos, “But you do not need to worry since she would be dealt with for violating the contract.”
‘That’s good, otherwise, we’d need to constantly worry about her coming back to hatch the meteorite,’ Dok-ja sighed in relief, with this, they had completed the scenario and more importantly, they had stopped the Disaster from appearing which was the main thing.
‘No it wouldn’t matter even if she appears again,’ Soo-young thought looking at the yellow puddle and the carefree Haru, there was a reason why she believed this and that was, ‘Once you are caught in his illusion, he can trap you in it again while ignoring every condition the second time.’
