My Second Life in Another World - Chapter 431: Crazy
“Mr. Paul, there is no need to get worked up over this disrespectful insect,” Do-gak tried to appease Paul a little, “I am sure he’ll come to his senses…. when he sees a few of his group members die.”
But it wasn’t without any weight, because as things stood, it wasn’t looking good for Haru’s group, the top of the group was already in disorder.
[Damn it! There are no responses!]
[Should we ask our constellations to look into it?]
They were still in panic mode.
[Yes, I was trying to be generous but as expected,] Paul seemed to have calmed down but he still glared at Haru, [you idiots never understand unless you are whipped into shape.]
‘That’s one knife avoided….’ Do-gak on the other hand sighed in relief, he thought he had avoided this crisis.
Since no matter how stubborn Haru might be, he will definitely break once he sees the group he had gathered die that way.
‘The way he had behaved so far, his current actions would just be a bluff,’ Do-gak had seen Haru being the nice guy, and there was no way this nice would just sit back and see people getting slaughtered.
But that sense of victory didn’t last for long…
[Silence!] A cold shout came from the broadcast, and the questions along with the panic came to a stop in an instant.
[We need to focus on the upcoming scenario as planned,] It was none other than Queresha who took command.
[But…] Sang-ah was about to ask a question, it seemed like there wouldn’t be any more time for that.
[He’ll be back before you know it,] Queresha said seriously, [but his absence doesn’t mean that we can stop the work assigned to us, so we’ll proceed as planned and wait for his return.] and that seemed to have worked very nicely.
Because the way Queresha spoke was filled with conviction, and this prompted others to think of what Haru was like so far.
‘He’ll come back with a smile like nothing happened,’ That was the thought that went through their heads.
They were worried still, but getting all concerned about him and stopping their plans, will only make things harder.
[I am sorry for that,] Sang-ah seemed dejected, she was one who seemed the most out of it, visibly at least.
[Well, now that I think about it, I don’t think something will happen to him,] Hee-won laughed, [he is like a main character after all.]
[Hee-won Unnie please be careful with those jokes, people don’t like those anymore,] Jin-ah sighed and in the instant, the panic subsided.
[….] Paul was looking at the scene along with Do-gak, both of them were pretty speechless looking at this.
“Heh, I wonder how long you guys can maintain that calm Façade of yours?” They turned back to see Haru’s smile.
[You… bastard, I’ll make you see hell…] Paul gritted his teeth, they still had the upper hand here, Haru was out of the scenario, so his group would definitely suffer.
‘No, I’ll make sure they suffer,’ Paul wasn’t letting this disrespect slide, it had happened not just once, but twice. If it was up to him he would’ve killed Haru the first time it happened.
‘If it wasn’t that threat from Takamagahara I would’ve at least taught him a lesson… Shit!!’ Paul received a literal death threat from the leader of Takamagahara, and it wasn’t to be taken lightly.
If you touch him, I’ll make sure you are dealt with. A threat from an entire Nebulae normally wouldn’t be that bad, normally they are very divided in opinions, so one can curry favor with the other faction.
But the thing with Takamagahara was that….
‘Their powers aren’t divided like the other Nebulas,’ In Takamagahara, the Leader might not have every constellation under her direct control.
But she had the ability to mobilize them all, ‘Because her family will rally them in her place,’ this is why it was so tough to deal with her.
There were four main factions in Takamagahara, the First being Amaterasu, then came her brother Tsukuyomi with his faction, after that was Sussano with his faction, and lastly, there was the faction of their father; not to mention their technical mother was also a dangerous being in her own right.
So it wasn’t that she had all of the power, she had sway over the ones who could control the gods, thus The Noble Child Of The Sun had control of the entire Nebulae.
And if he gets on her bad side, ‘The management will not mind cutting me off…’ Paul knew that because of this he had to be careful, he thought that just scaring Haru would be enough, but that didn’t seem to work.
“Just make it entertaining, will ya?” The tables were turned really quickly without them even realizing, and this wasn’t the end.
[Why…You….] Paul had control himself before he made a mistake.
‘He really is an idiot,’ Haru shook his head looking at that reaction, he could act as freely as he could right now, because there was no way these guys were broadcasting what was happening here.
They are indeed dumb, but not that dumb.
It is just that they had failed to realize that there was no need for Haru to worry about his group, ‘They work better when I am not around after all,’ he knew that he was the cause of a massive distraction for them.
And with him out of the way, things should work just fine if not better.
But more importantly, “Hng!! A break isn’t really a bad thing I suppose,” He stretched his body and made himself comfortable on the couch.
‘Do all of the constellations watch us like this?’ He thought while looking at the broadcast, ‘Lazy bastards, they don’t have anything to care about, do they?’
‘This human is crazy…’ Do-gak sweated just looking at Haru being so comfortable over there, ‘This is my fucking house!!’
But of course, no one was interested in what he had to say.
In the Seoul Dome, at this moment the preparations for the next scenario were underway.
It has been 6 hours since Haru went missing, and only 17 hours remain till the Fifth Scenario starts.
“Have we finished moving the Disaster to Yong-san?” Queresha asked as soon as she saw Zenobia walk into the room.
“They are on their way currently,” Zenobia said checking the tablet in her hand, “They should be able to set up the Stone in the park in three hours max, so no worries on that front.” They had to make sure that the Disaster was released away from their group.
That is why they chose a park that had a lot of open space. Thanks to this the 1st combat team can deal with the Disaster by surrounding it, as soon as it hatches.
“What about the last Disaster? Do we have its location yet?” Queresha asked and Zenobia tilted her head.
“It is on No-Deul island, didn’t I tell you about it two days ago?” It was weird to think that Queresha didn’t remember it, no given the current situation it did make a little sense.
“I was just making sure,” But Queresha seemed to look fine, and as much as Zenobia wanted to ask a question, the timing wasn’t good, since something indeed happened.
[Hello, Zenobia-ssi, Hello?] A voice came from her tablet, and it was from the support team that was keeping an eye on the surroundings.
“What happened?” Zenobia could already tell that something went wrong, because of the urgency in the voice.
Even Queresha frowned hearing that nervousness in the voice, and their inkling was correct.
[Yu Jung-hyuk has appeared near the sleeping Disaster,] He said and Zenobia quickly looked at her tablet, the feed showed him, standing near the sealed Disaster.
Along with what he had done…
“A troublemaker stays a troublemaker till the end….” Queresha’s voice was full of coldness.
‘Looks like she has had it with this one,’ Zenobia sighed and could only look at Jung-hyuk, who was feeding sealed disaster with a meteorite.
It was a stone similar to that of the one they were carrying to Yong-san, just smaller in size.
What was he doing? She didn’t know, but there was one thing Zenobia knew…
“Tell the second team to prepare,” Queresha stood up from her seat, “I’ll leave this place in your hands, Zenobia.”
“You are going there yourself?” Zenobia asked and Queresha nodded before leaving the room.
‘You’ve really done it,’ Zenobia looked at the feed again, which showed Jung-hyuk just standing there in wait.
With Haru away, this was the worst time to get on Queresha’s nerves.
And breaking the plans she had set up……
[A New Main Scenario Has Arrived]
…was the worst way to piss off a perfectionist like her.
