My Stubborn Mistress - Chapter 399 Somewhere, Trapped In Time
Quinn fell into deep thoughts— an opportunity for the prince to loose from his hold. Now the circumstance switches and the prince pinning Quinn on the wall, belie the poop deck.
“Die, Klein Williams!” Prince Yoo Joon sneers at him. He drags Quinn toward the railings and pushed down to fall over to the water.
“I told you, I am not Klein Williams!” Quinn asserted.
He tried to be free from the prince’s grasp. They wrestled with strength, and Quinn kicks him in the abdomen. Prince Yoo Joon staggered to his feet, stepping backward. Then he touches the aching part of his body. But this only made him grin evilly.
He starts another attack, but Quinn nudges the prince’s punches to the side. He tried to kick him once again, but Quinn able to grab him on the shoulder and presses his arm to his back.
“Tell me, who really you are Prince Yoo Joon? Why can you say that I was reborn in the 19th century? What do you know? Perhaps, are you having the capability of seeing someone’s future?”
“And do you think I will reveal anything to you? You are not worthy! Instead, I will shut you off!”
“Really? Why don’t you tell me more? If you are from the future, why are you trying to mess up our lives here!?”
“Because I won’t let you steal my life then! But I will steal yours, instead!”
“What are you talking about?”
“I doubt you don’t believe anything!”
“What?”
“How about that woman? Why is she here as well?” he returned the question instead.
“Who?” his forehead wrinkled from wonder.
“Her!”
Prince Yoo Joon pointed Madison who was holding the wheel. It was kind of wavy on this water channel, and so she hardly steers the wheel.
“And what’s about her?” he asked innocently.
“She is from the future. Do you even know that?”
“How can you tell that?” Quinn pretended that it surprised him. If he reveals that he was also coming from the future, it will compromise many things if Cassandra’s cousin knew that they could travel time.
Now that they have enemies he is unsure what is the identity. And he is uncertain if truly from their present life or the life that does not exist anymore? How if this prince is from that time? He needs to be careful.
“Maybe she has a purpose?” Quinn replied afterward. “Um, to stop you? How would I know this, anyway?” He taunted the prince, acting like innocent and confused.
Prince Yoo Joon glaring at Madison’s direction. Quinn was grateful that no one truly knows about her.
The Elders protected Madison’s identity. He later realizes this…
Now he also has another realization. It seems things were in their places. No one ever heard about Carlene’s family and their life before. If this prince is truly Cassandra’s cousin, he doesn’t know about Madison, but Ken or Kenneth knew Quinn Williams from that life.
“Do you know her in the future, I am right?” Quinn asked the prince to figure out how much he knew.
“I don’t know her, and I have no interest to know either!”
“Oh, so that is even possible that you don’t know her despite you can foretell?”
“Shut up! You were just trying to confuse me away to the fact!” Prince Yoo Joon snaps.
“That you don’t know about her?” Quinn makes he is a convincing teaser.
“That I will kill you! Besides, Cassandra has never had a twin sister! I know because—”
“Cassandra? I notice that you often mention here. Is she the future Marivella?”
Prince Yoo Joon keeps silent. He made mistakes of spilling out her name repeatedly. His hold even gets tighter to Quinn’s neck. His emotion quivering in ferocity.
“So what if she is? You will disappear now, so then, your mouth shut forever!”
The prince struggling to pressure him out. Quinn glances below as it was dark. What he could hear are the raging waves slamming at the ship.
He gathers all his strength to push Prince Yoo Joon. He is now holding a dagger and trying to stick the object to his chest.
Someone is screaming in the distance. The ship was now on fire. The ship workers quickly throw out the boat, and they jump off after.
“Coward fools!” Prince Yoo Joon shouts.
With the fire, Madison now notices that Quinn was in great danger. Prince Yoo Joon is pursuing to stab her father.
“Papa!” She shouted.
Quickly, she made a plan. Madison drew the ship to the shore and let it smashes to the rock bottom on the shallow part of this saltwater. The ship made a violent sway and so everyone holds onto anything, which another fall on the floor and on the sea.
Upon establishing a strong impact on a huge rock. Quinn takes the dagger from the prince. He shoves him and swung the knife. The prince struggled to escape from the assault, but it binds him on the edge. He could feel the wooden wall on his back. He can’t step backward anymore.
When Quinn attempt to jab him once again, the prince grabs Quinn’s pulse and tried to grab the knife, attempts to thrust it again into Quinn’s body.
He was clutching the dagger hard and observes the sharp object keenly. He gritted his teeth upon applying all of his strength. He remains to wrestle with the prince— who keeps thrusting the knife into him but he gets out of it, moving his body side by side.
The ship swayed as it gradually sinking. Quinn has a chance to shift the position of the knife. With a full-strength, Quinn thrusts the dagger toward the prince.
He cries as the sharp object strikes his skin and cut deep into his shoulder. The prince gasps and grated his teeth upon defying the pain crawling his body.
“Who are you? Why you can wound me like this!” he seems more shocked than feeling the pain.
The prince steps back, but he steps on a bottle and lifted him on the sides of the ship that causes him to fall to the surf. Quinn runs and scans down below and search for the prince. He collapsed into a rock and he witness when the prince slowly disappearing.
His eyes grew wider. He’s not just hallucinating! The prince truly vanishes from his sight.
“Papa! Are you okay?”
“Brother Quinn, we have to jump now!”
“The ship is sinking, Papa!”
“Okay. But it is rocky here, let’s jump from the poop deck.”
The three of them climb the stairs. Quinn saw Aleksi in the distance, about to dive. Aleksi salute at him before he jumps off from the ship with the other port workers.
“Till your next life, Meisha.”
