MY SUCCUBUS HAREM SYSTEM - Chapter 232 232 - Monarch
Chapter 232 232 – Monarch
After a few minutes of waiting, a woman approached Ryan. Bowing her head, she said, “It’s a pleasure to serve you. You can call me Ninety, I’ll be your maid and assistant here at the Raid Prep base.”
The girl was dressed in a maid’s uniform quite similar to the ones he was used to seeing at the Moon Palace. Her hair was a very faint shade of mint green, tending towards white. She had two very striking black eyes, as well as a pair of bazonkers that were almost jutting out. On her right breast, there was a small dot that he couldn’t help but notice.
“A fake name, anyway, Ryan Whitemane,” he replied, holding out his hand to the girl.
On the maid’s shoulder was written [90]. This only confirmed the theory he had had, but there was still no point in creating insecurity or worry, but he would remain vigilant.
Activating his Demon Sight, Ryan assessed the girl a little more carefully.

The girl’s face was a little confused as she shook his hand, restlessly she said: “You’re interesting”. Ryan imagined that this shouldn’t have been in the manual they had given her, so perhaps she was surprised that he wasn’t a robot.
‘They must have told her she’d be dealing with an S Rank… Usually, these people have a big ego,’ he thought.
<But you have a big ego>
‘Nyx… You don’t have to be so cruel’
<Hehehe….>
“Well, I still have some time before they release me. Do you know what we can do around here?”
Ninety nodded slightly, then held out her arm for Ryan to follow. According to her, his orders were to start by exploring the place and explaining each of the locations that this gigantic base had. However, it was clear that most of the travelers weren’t interested in exploring.
As Ryan walked with Ninety he noticed two factors, firstly that the Travelers were crowding into specific places, and secondly that there were several who just preferred to wait.
The Gym area was much more crowded than usual, as were the areas for training against simulated monsters. The guild was really investing a lot in that place, there was a lot of equipment capable of withstanding the strength level of a Traveler Rank SSS+.
One of the bench presses had over twelve thousand kilograms, a weight that only the strongest tanks could carry with difficulty. Unsurprisingly, Ryan noted how there had already been Travelers lifting five thousand kilograms just to warm up.
The combat training rooms used the same system as the Neodrazzil Travelers Academy. In these simulations, enemies made of mana were generated with elemental reactions. The room was equipped with a wall of magical glass and, in the midst of the crowd, the observer raised his head a little to understand what was happening.
About ten meters below, a young woman was doing her training. Her short hair was a shade of pink and her figure was slender, despite her medium-sized breasts. Her belly showed through her black cropped T-shirt, while her black pants came down to her shins. Adorning each side of her robes were two magic pistols with a heart symbol.
Next to him, the attendant was wearing a maid’s uniform, and the number [11] was clearly visible on her right shoulder. “How did you choose those numbers?” Ryan asked his guide.
Placing a hand on her chin, she looked up thoughtfully, until she nodded as if confirming to herself that she could speak “They’re levels of strength, she must be eleventh in the Ranking”.
This news made Ryan a little excited to watch the duel, crossing his arms he stopped to assess what was going to happen. His vision of the future was giving him some small details of what it all meant.
Four stone golems appeared to attack her. The first one launched itself at her like a cannon. It was the only one that managed to move more than a single step, as they were all destroyed at the same time. To an ordinary onlooker, this would have been clearly unnoticed, however, everyone on that base was experienced enough to understand this duel.
“So she’s testing your speed,” Ryan said.
He then began to listen to the conversation of the traveler next to him.
“Wow, she’s really fast,” said Maid, and the boy replied, “That can’t be her best time, that girl’s trying to beat her own record.”
Seconds later, ten more golems appeared. Ryan’s vision of the future again showed the girl’s precise movements, but this time he slowed down to understand the beauty of the girl’s skills.
Removing both pistols from her waist, the girl gave the gun two twirls while reloading the magic bullets she was using. The bullets jumped out of a pocket that was attached to her pants and with the movement of her hands she loaded the shots. She then fired five shots with one gun and five shots with the other.
Her aim was precise, all the bullets hitting the center of the golems’ heads, exactly where the creatures’ small core was. All this happened at the same speed as a human blink, which only showed how absurd the level of someone in the S Rank was.
The maid crossed her arms as she watched, “Why is she training with magic bullets? Surely she must have enough mana to beat those monsters without worrying.”
Ryan pointed at the girl as he turned his face to Maid’s ear, whispering he said, “She’s taking the bullets out of her inventory, some monsters have magical resistance and that’s why she’s using physical ammunition. You never know what kind of creature you’re going to face.”
The maid widened her eyes in surprise, placing one of her hands on Ryan’s cheek she whispered in reply, “So she’s challenging herself on purpose… That’s incredible.”
One after the other, the hordes of golems appeared and turned into various pieces of stone. In less than a minute, she managed to destroy around four hordes of ten golems, a monster count that rivaled some portals.
This reminded Ryan of some of Lyza’s stories, when she started out as a traveler it was common for the redhead to defeat portals on her own. The stronger you become, the more portals you need to close in order to climb the rankings.
Taking two steps back, Ryan left the crowd. Ninety followed him a few seconds later, still mesmerized by the skill of the girl they had been watching. The two of them had not yet seen all the rooms in the base, but before Ryan could return to his journey, the sound of a scream caught his attention.
He quickly turned his face to watch and slowly walked towards the audience of another training session. It was Alexa, Alice’s mother and one of the strongest Travelers in the place.
“Alexandra Lightstone, I hear she’s Rank 7,” said a huntress who was watching from Ryan’s side.
On the other side of the arena was the woman Ryan had seen coming out of the portal. Her gigantic armor wasn’t slowing down her mobility one bit; she was easily able to dodge the attacks being launched by Alexa.
The two were battling with intense speed, the aim was simple: attack and defend. This type of training was intended to improve a traveler’s reflexes. It wasn’t a duel, it was about who could defend against the most attacks.
The speed of Alexa’s spells was astonishing. With a single snap of her fingers, she could create more than two hundred Judgement of the Sun spells, each of which could be cast with a difference of milliseconds. Even so, the mysterious warrior was able to defend without showing any fatigue.
“The energy the blonde is concentrating is quite high… Shouldn’t that hurt his armor?” Ninety asked Ryan.
Ryan activated the mysterious warrior’s window to understand that the maid’s doubt was extremely valid.

His eyes passed four buffs that explained it, Vorpal Aura was a skill that increased movement speed. Blessing of the Supreme Priest, on the other hand, nullified any magical attack of the Holy or Light class. Thus, Judgement of the Sun could only cause physical and heat damage, however, Triple Maximise Magic: Greater Magic Seal nullified heat and Absorption significantly decreasing physical attack.
Touching the shoulder of the hunter next to him, Ryan asked, “Do you know the name of the armor traveler?”. The hunter turned around and widened her eyes when she realized she was talking to Ryan Whitemane.
“Y-yeah he’s called Monarch”
Looking at the armor shiny armor of the Monarch, Ryan could only think about what kind of person that girl mysterious was.
