My Two Dads - CH 51.2
The four of them were bored after the meal, so they gathered around to play a game.
The game was called “Don’t Do It Challenge”.
There were many cards on top of the table. Written on the back of each card was an event that could happen during the game. Everyone was given four cards, which they stuck them on their foreheads.
If someone was to do whatever was written on the card during the game, then they will lose one card.
When all four cards are lost, then that person will have to be punished.
The punishment was set as – send a text that says ‘I’m pregnant’ to the most recently contacted person and keep it there until the other party has seen it.
Liu Mu stuck his cards on his cap and commented on the punishment, “That’s harsh.”
Yang Han already stuck her own set of cards on her forehead as she laughed, “I know, right?”
Han Shi Yu suddenly said, “Xiao Yang, try singing a song for us?”
His motive was too obvious so Yang Han did not fall for his trick and casually replied, “I won’t.”
Han Shi Yu: “Take it off.”
Yang Han: “?”
She heard Lu Yue Ming snickering, so she took the card off her forehead to look at it. The corner of her mouth twitched a little when she saw what was written on it.
It read, “Refuse others”.
Xiao Yang, who had given out one of her cards so easily right off the bat, got so mad that her eyebrows were knitted together. Meanwhile, Han Shi Yu who had gotten things to go his way, leaned back and laughed, “You’re still too young for this.”
Yang Han said coldly, “Take it off.”
Han Shi Yu: “?”
He heard Liu Mu laugh loudly at that, so he took off the card on his forehead which said, “lean back against the sofa”.
Han Shi Yu refused to accept it so easily, “Isn’t this too easy!”
The game didn’t even last for a minute but the father and daughter duo had already lost a total of two cards.
Liu Mu’s card was “say a number”.
Lu Yue Ming’s card was “a kiss on the cheek”.
The three of them frowned at Lu Yue Ming.
“W…What’s wrong?” Lu Yue Ming felt like he was sitting on pins and needles while being stared at like that.
Yang Han said, “Isn’t Xiao Lu’s a little too difficult?”
The three of them said in sync, “Take it off.”
Yang Han: “???”
Lu Yue Ming couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
Liu Mu shook his head, “What an unlucky daughter you are.”
Yang Han took her card off and the card read, “mention an animal”.
This topic wasn’t that easy to be mentioned, but unfortunately there had to be a ‘Deer’ here – Lu Yue Ming.
Having lost two cards in pain, Yang Han angrily stuck the third card on her forehead and said, “I only have two more cards left, I’m not going to talk anymore in this round.”
The corners of Lu Yue Ming’s mouths that were curved upwards went back down as he said, “Now, I have the most chances left, right?”
Han Shi Yu immediately understood what he meant and echoed it, “Oh, you still have four cards and haven’t lost a single one yet.”
Liu Mu, “I also haven’t lost a single one either.”
Lu Yue Ming laughed, “Now you have.”
Liu Mu raised an eyebrow and slowly took off his card, smiling, “Oho, you tricked me.”
In the current situation, Han Shi Yu and Liu Mu both had three cards, Yang Han only have two cards left and was holding her words in, while Lu Yue Ming remained unbeatable.
Liu Mu’s current card was “sing a song”, the difficult being second only to Lu Yue Ming’s. Master Liu and his unlucky daughter exchanged a look. Yang Han pretended to lie down and refused to speak as she called over Pup The Second over.
The little golden retriever wagged his tail between her legs.
Liu Mu, “Since when did you guys get a dog?”
Han Shi Yu: “We adopted them a few days ago.”
Liu Mu called over the puppy a few times then said, “Let me hug him a little.”
Yang Han picked up Pup the Second and passed it over, but the distance between them were too far away so Yang Han had to say, “Old Han, pass him over.”
Han Shi Yu said cautiously, “Are you two trying to set me up?” He put both hands behind his back and said, “I’m not getting fooled.”
Yang Han: “Ha?”
Liu Mu frowned, “What are you so afraid of?”
“……” Han Shi Yu looked at both of them with an expression that was half believing and half doubtful. The puppy was staring at him with his pitiful, black eyes while wagging his tail a little. He hesitantly reached for the dog while saying, “You sure you’re not setting me up?”
The second Liu Mu took the puppy over, he peeled off the card from Han Shi Yu’s forehead and showed it to him.”
Han Shi Yu: “……”
On it was written. “Receive something that is handed to you”
Han Shi Yu looked at the card in his hand with a betrayed look, “Too cunning…did you guys cheat? Why are all of mine too easy to do?”
Lu Yue Ming and Yang Han looked at each other as Lu Yue Ming said softly, “Did Uncle do it again?”
Yang Han hadn’t reacted in time, “Ah?”
Han Shi Yu: “……”
Lu Yue Ming repeated his words back to him, “Too cunning…did you guys cheat? Why are all of mine too easy to do?”
It finally dawned on Yang Han as she took off Han Shi Yu’s card that read, “saying ‘too easy”
Han Shi Yu: “That counts too?”
Liu Mu leaned back on the sofa lazily and applauded in admiration as he praised, “This game isn’t that hard. You were the one who kept setting yourself up.”
Yang Han let out a supressed breath and said, “The heavens didn’t spare him.”
Han Shi Yu only had one chance left, so the game entered a heated state.
Liu Mu’s was a ‘sing a song’ card while Yang Han’s was ‘eat something’.
Lu Yue Ming still did not lose a single card, so he was starting to feel a little curious and pointed at his forehead, “What exactly is written on mine?”
“Tsk,” Liu Mu scanned the number of cards on the table and said, “Everyone has lost a few cards, right?”
He looked at the card on Lu Yue Ming’s forehead as his eyes curved a little with a smile.
Lu Yue Ming was sitting in a relaxed way at first, but then he saw Liu Mu stand up suddenly across the table, reached out to wrap one arm around the back of his neck and pulled him closer. Then, from the side, he planted a soft kiss on his right cheek.
“.” The smell of mint drifted towards him, grazing the tip of his nose. It turned out that Liu Mu had a hard candy in his mouth, which let out a crunching sound when they collided a little. Lu Yue Ming’s brain suddenly shut down as he slowly started to heat up.
Liu Mu patted his head a little before peeling off the card on his forehead with two fingers. He said in a lazy, dragged-out voice, “Returning what I received.”
Han Shi Yu, who was deeply persecuted by the rules, questioned, “Does that count too?”
“A kiss on the cheek,” Yang Han was once again enlightened, “It never pointed out the subject and object, so it’s okay as long as it’s a kiss on the cheek!”
Liu Mu smiled widely and gave Yang Han a thumbs up.
Lu Yue Ming who was tricked continued to sit in place, but his face was as red as a teapot, and he was no longer unbeatable.
It took him quite a while before picking up a second card and sticking it on his forehead.
The three of them looked at his card with a frown again.
Lu Yue Ming: “?”
Liu Mu: “Tsk.”
Yang Han: “Tsk.”
Han Shi Yu looked at Lu Yue Ming’s card that said, “touching someone else’s face”, rubbed his chin as he thought of an idea, “We are truly polar opposites. Xiao Lu’s are too difficult.”
At that moment, Yang Han suddenly clapped her hands.
“So you were aware of that too, huh?” Liu Mu turned his head over and took off Han Shi Yu’s last card, “Congratulations on getting pregnant.”
His last card said, “too difficult”.
Han Shi Yu: “……”
The puppy fur he was running his hand through, lost its softness in that moment.
This game ended rather quickly due to Han Shi Yu’s participation.
Yang Mo went to the bathroom as Alan continued to eat his pasta while guarding his phone and laptop.
Suddenly, the phone that was dormant came alive and lit up for a moment. Alan’s eyes were drawn to it. He frowned at first before moving closer to take a better look at the notification on the lock screen.
The stray dog from the management school, “Mo, I’m pregnant.”
Alan: “?”
When Yang Mo returned and pulled out his chair, he realized Alan was frozen in place and he seemed utterly lost from the look in his eyes.
He almost couldn’t recognize the three Chinese characters for ‘the stray dog’.
“What’s wrong,” Yang Mo asked.
Alan’s mouth was still stuffed with food so he didn’t talk and instead pointed at his phone.
Yang Mo tapped on his phone and the message entered his sight.
After one second of confusion, he saw the contact name and instantly understood what this guy was doing.
He used speech-to-text to reply, saying, “Abort it, I don’t want it.”
Then, he placed his phone aside and continued eating like nothing had happened.
Alan’s fork fell onto his plate, “.”
