My Unrivaled Princess: I Won’t Mess With You - Chapter 119
It had been so long since Su Liancheng had a fight like this with ease and verve, he didn’t show any flaw in his movements faced with the First Elder and the Third Elder’s converging attack.
Su Liancheng had totally dominated the fight, he decided to just use his strength instead of the fancy movements he had learned since he was a child.
His fists landed on the First Elder and the Third Elder’s chests, with an “ouch” the two men retreated one step after another.
“First Brother, can you tell what this boy is trying to do? I don’t see any movements now, is he… is he just using his brute strength?” the Third Elder rubbed his chest and asked.
“I have no idea, either.” the First Elder gnashed his teeth, fighting back the urge to spit blood.
“One more round?” Su Liancheng provoked.
The First Elder and the Third Elder roared, this was their home turf after all and they were at least twice as old as Su Liancheng, no way could they take that provoking gesture with a smile.
“In formation!” the two exchanged a look and yelled that in unison, the First Elder soared aloft while the Third Elder stayed on the ground and he withdrew his whip from his sleeve.
Su Liancheng narrowed his eyes, ‘All right, this is no laughing matter now, they are both ready to employ all their skills to take me down, I better remain in combat readiness.’
“Bang!” two tea cups landed on The First Elder and the Third Elder when they both charged at Su Liancheng from both directions, they spat a mouthful of blood at the same time.
And poor Su Liancheng! His coat was covered with blood now, Su Liancheng retched on seeing the blood stains on his white coat.
Su Liancheng took off the coat and walked to Luo Qianqian who was still sitting in the hall.
“Eighth Brother, should I say a thank you or not? You’ve saved me from a fight but you’ve ruined a perfect good coat for me.” Su Liancheng pretended he was mad.
“Get away from me.” Murong Yun frowned.
Su Liancheng felt so aggrieved, he was cold-shouldered by his Eighth Brother because his coat was dirty?
The Second Elder figured this might serve as a good opportunity to appease Su Liancheng, he walked to Su Liancheng and said, “Don’t worry, Childe Su, I will arrange a new coat for you.”
Su Liancheng didn’t dislike this Second Elder who had dedicated his life to forging compared to the other two who were adept at scheming, he just said, “Yeah, I guess I can use a clean coat now.”
The First Elder and the Third Elder now walked into the hall and started to regulate their breaths after they were seated.
Su Liancheng averted his gaze, he was afraid he might resume the fight on seeing their faces.
Murong Yun cast a glimpse at them and said, “I will cripple him whoever messes with the Xiaos.”
Nine words, but the weight of the nine words was daunting.
The Three Elders dread to disobey their Deputy Master who could take them down single-handedly. He had just injured them severely using just two teacups!
But they couldn’t just sit back and let the attackers go.
“Deputy Master, but the Xiaos… …”
Murong Yun interrupted the First Elder, “It’s the Liangs, the Xiaos has nothing to do with the second attack! Our enemy is the Liangs, understood?”
‘The Liangs?’
‘Not the Xiaos?’
‘But we’ve never had any grudges with the Xiaos before — wait — do they want to dominate the Jianghu Underworld as well?’
‘The Xiaos are reduced to be the scapegoat!’
It all made sense now, the Liangs were counting on the Gus and the Xiaos turn their backs against each other and then they could effortlessly reap the spoils of a contest fought by others! What good scheming!
They figured they couldn’t focus on fighting the Xiaos for now, their Deputy Master clearly had seen through their original plan and he didn’t appreciate that, so they better listen to their Deputy Master and find the whereabouts of the Liangs.
Just the thought that what if they had fallen for the Liangs’ scheme and had worn each other out with the Xiaos, and the Liangs would swoop in and profit from their conflict dreaded the Three Elders.
And their Master… was there a possibility that their Master was captured by the Liangs and he was still alive!
No wonder no one had heard anything about the Liangs, it looked like they were busy with their calculations behind everyone’s back.
The Three Elders gazed at each other in speechless despair,, they were so grateful that their Deputy Master had pointed out the problem before it was too late.
With that, the Three Elders nodded in agreement and Murong Yun withdrew the hall with Su Liancheng.
Luo Qianqian was still sleeping when Murong Yun had returned.
Murong Yun tucked her in and stared at her with a big smile when he recalled what Luo Qianqian had said, ‘Mama likey! I love you, Murong Yun.’
Murong Yun leaned forward to kiss Luo Qianqian on her forehead, but Luo Qianqian frowned as Murong Yun leaned, it must be the smell of blood on him. Murong Yun rose to his feet and walked behind the screen to get changed.
A dark figure emerged at Murong Yun’s door, the person used a dagger to open Murong Yun’s room and walked in like a ghost.
This person was so good at suspending breathing, she swept across the room but to her disappointment, she didn’t see the person she had been longing to see.
The person didn’t leave immediately, she saw the food on the table and a sinister smile flashed across her face. She took off the black cloak that she used to disguise people and produced a packet of powder from her sleeve and then she swept across the room again, she sprinkled the powder in the food after she was sure no one else was in the room.
Her hands trembled after she mixed the powder well in the food.
