My Unrivaled Princess: I Won’t Mess With You - Chapter 126
The wolf pack retreated as Feng Qing joined the battle.
The four men left in the group expressed their thanks to Feng Qing and hobbled to Yu.
The young man walked to Yu and produced a bottle of ointment from his sleeve, “Sister Yu, how are you feeling? I know the wolf has left a scratch on your back, here is the ointment.”
Yu suffered excessive loss of blood , she raised her head and said weakly, “I’m fine, Ao, can you apply the ointment to my back please?”
The young man named Ao looked so torn, he was a man and Yu was a woman, he wasn’t supposed to apply ointment to her, but Yu was heavily injured and Yu was his future sister-in-law, so he braced himself and took off Yu’s coat. He looked away as soon as he ripped off the fabric on Yu’s back, slowly he applied a layer of ointment around the wound.
“Thank you so much, Ao, I can feel it, it’s already helping.” Yu smiled, after that Yu took a pill that helped her to regulate her breaths, she sat in meditation and started to concentrate on her breathe with Ao guarding her.
“Thank you so much, lady.” Ao turned to Luo Qianqian and expressed his thanks to her, he knew it was Luo Qianqian who ordered Feng Qing to save them.
Luo Qianqian had no idea who they were, but he could tell these men valued Luo Qianqian like the way they valued Yu in their team, and he was so grateful to Luo Qianqian for willing to save them after their intruding.
“Why were you and your friends being chased by a wolf pack?” Luo Qianqian didn’t dislike this polite young man.
The young man looked like the leader of the group, he replied, “We were looking for wolflings in the wolf den to sell them when we get out of Monster Forest, but the wolves had already hidden the wolflings somewhere else, and just like that, the cautious wolf pack spotted us and decided to teach us a lesson.”
Luo Qianqian felt less sorry for them, they were looking for a profit by hurting the wolves, basically they were looking for troubles.
The young man named Ao continued, “My elder brother is our leader, but we got separated at one point, I’m sure he is nearby, looking for us. We are all injured, can we stay here and get some rest till dawn please? Don’t worry, we won’t make any noise or create any more trouble, it’s just we really need a place to stay for the night.”
The other members of their group joined Ao and said weakly, “We just need a safe place to get some rest, please let us stay.”
Technically, anyone could stay there because no one owned it, so Luo Qianqian and Murong Yun exchanged a look and said, “Do as you wish.”
With that Luo Qianqian yawned and went back to the tent with Murong Yun, she was glad she could take a break from the smell of blood outside.
Luo Qianqian allowed Ao and his friends to rest outside of their tents because on one hand, they really needed a place to stay and rest, and on the other hand, they served as great stand guards at night. They were in the notorious Monster Forest after all, she could never be too careful.
Su Liancheng wrapped his arm around Feng Qing’s shoulder and said, “Nice moves on saving them, I told sister-in-law you were able to handle it by yourself, good job!”
Feng Qing gently pushed Su Liancheng away and walked to their tent, ‘Like Murong Yun, like Feng Qing, the king of poker face, tut tut tut.’
Yu winced at seeing Murong Yun and Luo Qianqian’s retiring figures, she was mad jealous that the two walked into the same tent.
The young man Ao checked his friends’ wounds one by one and he didn’t rest until he fed them pills.
He was merely resting his eyes rather than sleeping, he was alerted on any sign of disturbance or trouble.
Miasma slowly dropped away in the air as the sun came up in the east.
Luo Qianqian was woken up by the noise outside her tent.
“Brother, I know you can find us!” a young man’s voice rang cheerfully, it must be Ao, and the man who had come back must be his elder brother he talked about last night.
“Fengqi, you are back!” that must be Yu.
The man named Fengqi asked them what happened last night and why they were staying here, Ao told Fengqi that they were attacked by a wolf pack and they were saved by four people who were now in the tent.
Luo Qianqian rested her head on Murong Yun’s chest and listened to the people outside of their tent.
“Qianqian, are you awake as well?” Murong Yun asked.
“Yeah, let’s meet the uninvited guest, shall we?” Luo Qianqian knew it was just a matter of time before the man named Fengqi came say thank you.
Murong Yun handed Luo Qianqian a clean coat and turned his back thus Luo Qianqian could change clothes in the tent.
Luo Qianqian smiled, she was glad that Murong Yun was so considerate.
The man named Fengqi tapped Ao on the shoulder, “Good call, Ao, I’m proud of you.”
Ao shook his head with guilty, “Brother, two men died and I feel awful, I think they died because I made poor judgement.”
Fengqi shook his head and comforted Ao, “Stop beating yourself up, everyone was aware what they might encounter before they entered Monster Forest, this is not your fault, some casualities is inevitable, you know that?”
Ao lowered his head in silence.
Fengqi checkon on Yu’s wound and he heaved a sigh of relief it wasn’t that bad.
“How are you holding up?” Fengqi asked with concern.
“I’m fine.” Yu put on a smile.
“I’m so sorry, Yu, I didn’t protect you well, my future wife!” Fengqi took hold of Yu’s hand.
Somehow Yu didn’t like to be reminded that she was engaged to Fengqi, Liang Fengqi! The young master of the Liang Clan.
Yu was adopted to the Liang family when she was a child and she was engaged to Liang Fengqi two years ago, she was so happy about the engagement until last night when she met Murong Yun.
Murong Yun and Luo Qianqian walked out of their tent now, and so did Feng Qing and Su Liancheng.
Yu shook Liang Fengqi’s hand in a flurry on seeing Murong Yun.
Liang Fengqi walked to them and made a bow with hands folded in front, “I’m Liang Fengqi, it’s an honor to meet you, thank you so much for saving my younger brother, my fiance and my servants!”
Killing intent filled Murong Yun’s eyes as he heard ‘Liang’.
