My Vampire - Chapter 67: Uncle Tyler Analis
“Oh yeah!”
I said, surprising her.
“Yuki. Tomorrow, or maybe it’s already today……the real work begins now. I’m going to meet the person behind The Church.”
“…Today…today…Marc. ……you look so pained……. you know who that person is, don’t you?”
“I don’t have any proof. I don’t know what they are doing or what they want…but my hunch is probably right. I’m going to meet with that person and hear what they have to say!”
Yuki grabbed my arm firmly.
“I will not put you in danger!”
I said, hugging her tightly.
“We have a few more hours before dawn. The sunrise and the view from here are nice, too. Let’s watch it together in a little while. Until then, let’s rest in bed a little longer.”
We crawled into bed and cuddled with each other. It was a pleasant time.
The sky started getting brighter. We got out of bed and sat on the chairs by the window.
“It’s really beautiful.” Yuki whispered, leaning on my shoulder.
I have to protect this beautiful scenery. I know it sounds over the top, but……it’s that important.
We got dressed and gathered in the room where my brothers were waiting for us. Brother Mikey starts,
“We’re going to settle this. I think you already know, but this is a family matter. So I have talked to the founders of the other families to a certain extent. I couldn’t get everyone to understand, but many of them did.”
“Rick’s place is fine. He says good luck.”
He smiled and added.
“Come on! Let’s go!”
Us and a few of our dependents left the hotel. We headed to a certain place.
**Church of San Domenico**
It was a modest Sicilian Baroque church, located on the street of Rome.
… … *Rome. Rome… Rome… we can’t really come here without permission. But here he is*.
It was still early in the morning, so there was no one there. We entered the church.
“It’s still too early for Mass.”
Exclaimed the priest.
“I’m here to talk to the man in the back. I’m sure he knows that, too.”
Mikey spoke to the priest. Then he moved toward the back of the room at a brisk pace.
“Mikey. You want us to wait here?”
“Yeah. They’ll call us from over there.”
After a while, another priest arrived. I could tell he was a different priest from the one before.
“How did you know I was here? It’s pretty low-key here,” he laughed.
I saw his face and…….I…….,
“Bummer. Uncle Tyler….I never thought I’d see your face here.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other. Not since Marie’s incident, I believe?
He spoke with a faint smile on his face.”
