My Villainous Wife - Chapter 194
“I will let you go only if you give me my daughter.” Yu Jinyan didn’t give up.
Fang Shaoteng furrowed his eyebrows for a second before he smilingly said, “Old woman, I think you need to consult some doctors.”
“What?” Yu Jinyan angrily stared at him. “What did you just say to me?”
Her threatening eyes were enough to make anyone who dared to go against him cower in fear. Yu Jinyan was used to being Madam Zhao, and she would constantly abuse her power to make all the people she didn’t like bow to her.
As she was no longer young, Yu Jinyan was even more vicious towards any young woman who tried to latch themselves to her husband, the current Master Zhao. She did horrible things to them and reminding them that she was displeased by their actions.
But Fang Shaoten, unfortunately, wasn’t one of the people who would fear her. After all, he has a boss on the top who was worthy of being feared.
Smiling sardonically, Fang Shaoteng shrugged. “I mean, you should be in your late forties or early fifties. Who would believe that lie that you could give birth to this little girl.”
Fang Shaoteng was not wrong with his words. Those who initially wanted to pass by and watch on the side originally thought that the man carrying the little child stole the woman’s granddaughter.
However, upon hearing Yu Jinyan calling the child ‘her daughter,’ they couldn’t help but feel that it was all bullshit.
It was true that some women and men could still create young ones even at the age of fifty. However, these were rare cases and weren’t many. Thus, every stranger around them started to believe Fang Shaoteng.
Seeing that the wind was starting to blow on the other side, Yu Jinyan was threatened. She fussily tried to cover her face with her scarf and hands while looking away from the phones that were raised as though they were filming what was going on right now.
“What lies are you spouting! That is my daughter. She looks exactly like me!” Yu Jinyan shouted at them.
However, even though her words were true since Little Koala indeed came from her womb, but at this moment, no one tried to believe her.
Yu Jinyan had a scarf around her face and busily covered her face with her hands as well as sunglasses were propped on the bridge of her nose. It was almost impossible to see the resemblance between her and the child.
“What bullshit! You don’t even look like her!” someone from the crowd screamed back at her.
“Yeah! Stop lying already. We also have our eyes, and we’re not blind not to see what you’re doing.”
“Someone! Call the security and throw them out of the park!”
The strangers around them started to band together as they insisted that they leave the man and the child alone.
However, how could Yu Jinyan do that? She escaped prison and stayed out of the spotlight only to come out in order to get her daughter back. Surely, she didn’t plan to return without her daughter.
“Shut up!” Yu Jinyan screamed. She turned to glance at the men in black who were with her and signaled them to move.
The men slowly approached Fang Shaoteng, their hands on their waist and inside their jacket.
Fang Shaoteng dangerously swept his eyes on their movements and noticed that they carried guns.
What kind of crap is this? Fang Shaoteng pondered.
This woman came to get her daughter, yet she actually brought armed men and even threatened him with their guns. Was there more screw loose inside her brain rather than just a few?
Fang Shaoteng also had a gun tucked inside his belt. It was for protection. However, he couldn’t use it now because of his current situation.
If he made a move and fought these men, he would surely be able to win. However, only if there was no child in his arms.
Looking down at the child in his arms, he found that the little girl was deep in her sleep. She had been too energetic since earlier and jumped in his arms while pointing where she wanted to go. With her enthusiasm lasting for a few hours, she finally got tired and fell asleep.
What should he do? Fang Shaoteng sighed.
If this were anyone else and not him, they would probably squirm in fear and surrender. Having five or more men surrounding you does precisely that. But Fang Shaoteng had no intentions of surrendering his life nor give the little gilr to Yu Jinyan.
“I need a raise after this, Boss.” Fang Shaoteng mumbled under his breath.
“Hey, what are they doing?” someone finally noticed the strange movements of the men around Fang Shaoteng.
“Are they going to take the child forcefully? Somebody, call the police!”
Hearing the word ‘police,’ Yu Jinyan glared intensely at the crowd but couldn’t find who said that.
She could still remember how she was humiliated and put into prison after they were trapped inside the police station. Not only that, she recalled how some inmates tried to bully her inside the cell.
Shuddering at the thought, Yu Jinyan shouted at the men, “Quick, get them!”
If someone really went and called the police over, who knew if she would be sent inside the prison once again. Yu Jinyan didn’t like the idea of that and was in haste to get away from there.
Everyone was in a stalemate since earlier. However, when someone mentioned calling the police, Fang Shaoteng didn’t let the fact that Yu Jinyan paused when she heard it and used that chance to get away from them.
He jumped to the side and mingled with the crowd. They let him through, although they were also surprised by his actions.
However, when the men in black and Yu Jinyan realized his plan to escape, they chased after him.
Sadly, they didn’t get the same treatment from the crowd.
They were discriminated against and blocked by them.
“Hey, watch where you are going!”
“Ouch! Walk with your eyes on the road, fools!”
The crowd cooperated with Fang Shaoteng and distracted the men and Yu Jinyan, giving him enough time to distance himself from them.
