My Way To You - Chapter 410
“If you are really the priestess’s daughter… I believe you.” Antoine replied, though his eyes still flashed with a small amount of doubt. “Don’t worry, I know what I said sounds weird and I don’t really think I can do but I need to believe I can save others or else I will lose the people I love.” Ariana said with sad smile. “Anu’u armarria!” Antoine shouted and quickly created a protective shield around them just as black wh.i.p.s reached them.
Ariana turned her gaze to their attacker. A battle had turned rather ferocious between her shadow clones and a few robed men and women. “How far do you need to get before Cleo wakes up?” Ariana asked as she readied her hands. A few innocent people were starting to run after they were set free but the robed people would not let them escape easily, her shadows were having a hard time fending them off.
“Kaija’s magic covers an 80 meter radius.” Antoine replied just as Cleo groaned, her scar was still glowing brightly and she was sweating profusely. “I need to help as many people as I can. You two get out of here and try to find a way back into the Academy. It’s on lock down and I think it will most likely be the safest place for you to hide.” Ariana said just as more black wh.i.p.s started to flail around and dark cages fell on top of people, her shadows were losing.
“You can’t stay here! If you stay, Kaija will find you!” Antoine said in a panic. “And I will fight her, Antoine right now all your worry should be on your sister. Take her to Academy and get her help. After you have, look for Gregory, tell him what is going on and that I am out here. Hopefully he can get a small door opened and I can get my Lumas to help me.” Ariana said just as she called Celestine to her hands.
“Lumas?” Antoine asked. Suddenly screams were heard, Ariana shot Antoine a cold glare. “We don’t have time! Bring this down and get out of here.” Ariana hissed as Celestine turned into her water chakrams. Cleo groaned louder, she was losing more colour from her face and tears started to spill from her closed eyes. Antoine could no longer hesitate. “Don’t die!” Antoine shouted as he released his spell. Ariana nodded her head.
The moment the protective shield was down Ariana rushed forward. Antoine watched as she elegantly jumped upwards and sliced the dark wh.i.p.s that would have struck them. She then threw her chakrams forwards, they spun quickly and multiplied three times.
Each one targeted other dark wh.i.p.s and robed people. “Don’t just stand there! Run!” Ariana shouted. Antoine came back to his senses and rushed off with Cleo in his arms just as her remaining shadows rescued the citizens and helped them run away.
“How dare you!” A woman hissed as she and four other robed people turned to face her. Ariana’s chakrams came back to her and joined together. Ariana caught them and grinned at the robed people.
“That’s right, I do dare.” She replied defiantly. “You’ll regret fighting us!” A man shouted as he raised his hand. “Anu’u fuipeanna!” He continued and six tailed whip materialized in his hand. He then spun around and snapped the whip, each tail seemed to have a mind of it’s own and tried to either attack or capture Ariana.
However Ariana was faster, she ducked, dodged and leapt with ease as she sliced the wh.i.p.s into nothing. “Anu’u pilukast.” A woman shouted and an array of quill like darts shot forward. Ariana jumped back and smirked just as they landed right in front of her. “She’s just a little girl! This should be child’s play!” A woman shouted. “That’s right, this is child’s play.” Ariana laughed in a mocking tone.
The robed people clenched their jaws and scowled as their dark auras started to grow.
“Aka ola’i!”
“Pouli kaiola!”
“Anu’u pilukast!”
“Anu’u fuipeanna!”
“Pouli eskuak!”
They all shouted over top of one another. Suddenly Ariana was bombarded with multiple attacks. Wh.i.p.s tried to throw off her balance as slivers of shadows spread like veins all over the ground. She jumped upwards just as the ground tremored and broke apart. She threw her chakram and watched as they spun throw the air and came back, leaving a trail of water chakram steps. Ariana smiled as she landed on the one that stopped underneath her. She leapt forward avoiding the earthquake attack.
Quill like darts started to rain above and Ariana laughed as she called back her chakrams and landed back onto the ground. She spun the chakrams in her hands and destroyed the darts before they even touched her. Suddenly solid black hands rose from the ground and caught Ariana.”You thought you could keep fighting us?” A woman laughed arrogantly.
Ariana smirked as she dispelled her chakrams. “Who said I was attacking?” Ariana asked as a solid, black cage produced and dropped down. “This girl was nothing but lucky.” A man said with obvious disgust. “Well her luck just ran out.” Another woman said in a mocking tone. “Who says?” Ariana asked sweetly.
The robed people started t o laugh as they slowly approached her. “You just have no idea who you are up against?” A man said. Ariana smiled brightly as they got closer. “No you have no idea who you are up against.” She said and then her eyes changed to ones that belonged to a warrior. Suddenly the dark hands and cage started to glow black with a soft purple. “What are you doing?!” A woman shouted as she turned to look at her comrades.
“It’s not us!” A man shouted. “I can’t control it! She’s doing something to my magic!” Another woman yelled. “That’s right.” Ariana laughed. Then the cage and dark hands started to lose it’s form, they melted away and turned into a dark puddle. Suddenly dark blobs rose from the ground and blinked their white, circular eyes at the robed people. “What the f*ck!” A man shouted.
“I must thank you. Your dark hands are practically like my sweet Charoite.” Ariana said as she walked up to one of the blobs and petted it’s round head. “What are you? Are you even human?” A woman whispered as she backed up. “I should be the one asking you that. Are you human.” Ariana asked as she shot them a deadly glare.
“Charoite, you know what to do.” Ariana said.
