My Way To You - Chapter 460
Ariana and Cayden jerked towards the entrance of the room and spotted Kyrie with a small group of robed men. “Come here little fuzzy man.” Kyrie called out sweetly as he motioned with his hand. “Stay away from him!” Ariana shouted as she scooped up Joey and hid behind Cayden.
“No fair! Why can’t I pet the little fuzz ball too!” Kyrie cried as he stomped his foot. Ariana glared from behind Cayden’s back while Cayden took out his twin daggers, ready for a fight.
“You know we don’t have to senselessly fight.” Kyrie said as he snapped his fingers. Ariana and Cayden held their breath but nothing happened. Kyrie snapped his fingers again but still nothing happened. “What the hell?” Kyrie said in a frustrated tone as he repeatedly snapped his fingers.
“General Kyrie?” A man called out as he stepped forward. The others sensed Kyrie’s rage and stepped back.
“Ahhh!” Kyrie shouted as he sliced the man throat. Black and red fluid sprayed out as the man dropped to his knees. Kyrie sighed as he watched the scene then proceeded to wipe his scalpel clean, humming a happy melody. Ariana shivered at the man’s ruthlessness, he was so sweet before but he hid his dark side well.
Kyrie continued to hum as he put away his scalpel and then rummaged through his pocket. He then pulled out a small vial with inky, purple liquid. The other robed men took a few more steps back, though their cloaks covered their heads and a part of their faces Ariana could sense their immense fear.
The man on his knees tried to stop the bleeding with his hands but it was pointless, the blood and black liquid were gushing out at an alarming rate and pooled around him.
Kyrie looked down and with an even happier tune he kicked the man sideways. “Don’t worry, your sacrifice is greatly appreciated.” He said with a bright smile as he poured the inky liquid into the puddle of blood that acc.u.mulated before his feet.
The liquid flashed and a wave of sand moved up the blood until it reached the man. In an instant the man’s body disintegrated into sand and fell down. Kyrie snapped his fingers and watched as his newly born sand swirled upwards and coiled around his hand, nothing was left behind, not even a single drop of blood.
“That’s more like it but I wonder what happened to my other babies?” Kyrie asked softly as if cooing a small child. “You control that nasty sand!” Joey shouted as he pushed himself out of Ariana’s safe embrace. He flapped his arms, keeping himself elevated above Cayden and Ariana as he hissed at Kyrie.
“How dare you!” Kyrie roared with a disgust filled face but his speech was cut short, in an instant Joey opened his mouth and let out an earth shattering roar.
Everyone in the room dropped to their knees as they covered their ears with their hands. The roar lasted for four heart beats and then there was silence. “J-Joey?” Ariana called out in a daze. Her vision was spinning and she could barely keep herself steady. Joey landed softly beside her and held her up with his body.
“Joey?” Ariana called out weakly but he silently looked out towards the pit. Ariana felt her strength coming back and she was able to sit up slightly. “You alright?” Cayden asked as he wrapped his arms around Ariana. “Cayden, is that what I think it is?” Ariana asked as her eyes grew wide. “Oh my G*d.” Cayden said breathlessly. “G-GENERAL K-KYRIE?!” A robed man shouted.
Kyrie lifted his gaze as he tried to catch his breath. “What is it?!” Kyrie hissed. “L-l-l-l-l-l,” The man stuttered. “SPIT IT OUT!” Kyrie shouted. “Look!” A woman shouted instead. Kyrie looked to where she was pointing and his jaw dropped. A massive tie dyed blue, magenta and white cloud was flying towards them. “What is that?!” Another man shouted.
Kyrie stood up and stared at the cloud and saw that it wasn’t heading for them specifically but towards Ariana and Cayden. “What the hell is that?” Kyrie asked under his breath as he watched the cloud land right before Ariana and Cayden.
“King Ka’ R’sh urpt.” A male Rady said as he bowed down to Joey. They practically looked the same, minus the large horns. While the other 100 plus Radies standing or flying behind him had more of a difference. Every single one had small, stubby horns in various colours and eyes that matched their horns. Their sizes were the same, their colour scheme were the same and their cuteness were the same.
“King Ka’rshurpt?” Ariana called out in bewilderment. “Joey.” King Joey said with pride. “Your majesty?” The Rady that stood before him said. “From today onward I will be known as King Joey, King of all the Radies! And as your magnificent and glorious King, I have discovered the source of the black abomination!” King Joey announced. The Radies all hissed in disgust and contempt.
“Where’s the abomination! Where’s the abomination!” The Radies chanted. “The abomination it there and it must be dealt with!” King Joey commanded as he pointed outwards. The Radies all turned their gazes to Kyrie and his group, they instantly bared their fangs bared and let out snarling voices.
“G-general Kyrie, we must get away.” A man in a robe close by said as he tried to get up. “These flying rodents! How dare they! How dare they speak ill of my beautiful black sand!” Kyrie shouted as his face twisted with rage and madness.
“But sir!” The man said in protest but Kyrie silenced him with a kick to the gut. “But nothing!” Kyrie shouted. “I will not permit insolence.” Kyrie continued through gritted teeth. “Kyrie!” Ariana called out as she stood up. “Your Majesty?” The Rady closest to Joey called out. “Ariana?” King Joey called out gently. “Please, just give me a chance to make them leave. I owe that man a debt.” Ariana said to King Joey.
