My Way To You - Chapter 461
King Joey looked into Ariana’s eyes then sighed. “Hold your positions!” King Joey commanded. “But your Majesty, the abomination?” The similar looking Rady asked. “I said hold your positions!” King Joey bellowed as blue sparks formed around his snout. “Thank you.” Ariana whispered graciously. She then turned to Kyrie and called out to him again.
Kyrie turned his disdain filled gaze to Ariana. “Kyrie, leave. For everything you have done for me I want to pay you back so I’m asking you to leave. Leave with your lives so that the next time we meet…. The next time we meet we can fight on fair grounds!” Ariana shouted. Kyrie’s eyes rounded, he brought his right hand up to his auburn hair and pushed it back as he opened up his mouth and let out a high pitched laugh.
“How admirable of you!” Kyrie laughed. Ariana, Cayden and the Raides just stared at Kyrie as he laughed hysterically. “General Kyrie,” The woman called out from a safe distance. “WHAT?!” Kyrie shouted.
The woman stepped back even further as she pointed above the pit. Kyrie snarled at the woman before he turned and looked at what she was pointing at. The colour from his face drained the moment he spotted it. “My babies…” He gasped as the light from the flowing lava made the black glass glow an ominous colour. “MY BABIES!” Kyrie shouted at the top of his lungs. The robed woman ran for her life but Kyrie was faster then her legs.
He flicked his wrist and sent out the small amount of sand towards her. The sand moved quickly as it stretched out into a point and pierced the woman in the back. The impact was so strong that the woman landed on her face with a loud cry. The other robed men tried to get out of Kyrie’s way while one decided to jump into the silver liquid in the pit.
Kyrie then snapped his fingers and the sand retracted with a sloppy sound as blood flowed out of the woman’s body. Kyrie then flicked up his thumb and index finger arrogantly upwards and the sand started to spin around him. “G-general Kyrie?!” The robed men called out in utter fear. “Kyrie no!” Ariana exclaimed.
With a wicked smile Kyrie sliced the air diagonally and the sand erupted outwards and shot bullet sands, piercing the robed men. Blood splattered everywhere as the black sand collected and moved underneath Kyrie and elevated him above the corpses. “Stand down!” King Joey commanded as he watched Kyrie pull out another small vial.
“Ariana, this man is a monster.” King Joey said as he landed beside her, keeping his eyes glued on to Kyrie. “Your Majesty, we must take this man down like we did the sand! If we don’t,” The Rady closests to him started to protest but King Joey gave him a murderous glare. “If we don’t our commrades will be one with that abomination Va’ Rag!” King Joey shouted.
Va’ Rag’s lips pulled back and bared his fangs, growling as he landed beside King Joey. The others followed suit and stood behind Ariana and King Joey. The corpses underneath Kyrie had already disintegrated and a medium sized puddle of black sand was born. Ariana’s eyes shook in horror as she looked at the black sand. “H-his sand, his sand must have been made up of thousands….” Ariana whispered.
“More like a hundred thousand.” Cayden replied as he stood up perfectly straight and put his twin daggers away. “Ariana, my sweet angel Ariana… I think I will take up your very generous offer.” Kyrie said with a bright smile. A chill ran down both Cayden and Ariana’s backs. “But I won’t forget the debt I have with these flying sugar puffs.” Kyrie said as hopped off of his black sand.
The moment Kyrie’s feet touched the ground the old and new black sand reached out for one another and joined to form a slightly bigger sized puddle of sand. “I will be back to settle the score.” Kyrie continued before turning around and walking calmly out of the room. “Joey, I’m sorry.” Ariana said as she turned to Joey.
King Joey’s eyes were glued to the sand that seemed to have lingered in the room. The sand stretched itself up and tried to look down at the group with a rounded point. The black sand suddenly turned it’s rounded point towards the exit that Kyrie used. It shook the point and then slithered on the ground, following it’s master.
“Va’ Rag, we must prepare for war.” King Joey commanded calmly. “Yes your Majesty.” Va’ Rag replied with deep bow. “Ariana, I owe you a great debt.” King Joey then said as he shook out his fur. “Debt?! If it wasn’t or Cayden and I, you and your people would have avoided all this! We dragged you into something that has nothing to do with you!” Ariana cried out.
“No this has everything to do with us Radies.” King Joey said as he turned his gaze to Va’ Rag. He then narrowed his eyes and waited for Va’ Rag to speak. Va’ Rag flinched, he stood his ground but dropped his ears. “Your Majesty… Will the young Miss be joining us?” Va’ Rag asked in a timid voice.
Ariana’s jaw dropped. Va’ Rag’s whole persona changed in a blink of an eye. He was no longer the proud and stubborn Rady but a sweet and shy child. King Joey then turned to Ariana and started scratching his chest as his tail started to hit the ground repeatedly.
“Ariana, I would like to speak to you about the abomination that left… Can I invite you and your mate to join us on our island?” King Joey asked as a small, green blush kissed his cheeks. Ariana brought up her fist and tried to stifle a laugh. She then turned to Cayden and froze. Cayden had a stoic face as if trying to seem mature but his face was completely dyed pink.
Ariana stared as she tried to think what could have caused Cayden’s reaction. When she suddenly realized what King Joey had said she turned away from him as fast as she could. Feeling her own cheeks blazing as she did. “Y-yes, my mate and I would love to exchange information.” Ariana said awkwardly. “To our oasis!” King Joey commanded.
