My Way To You - Chapter 463
Ariana turned a bright red as she looked at the young woman. She was different from the group she was with before, she had fluffy cream coloured hair and tan coloured horns that coiled at the side of her head. Her very image made her look like a fluffy cloud and she looked so sweet and innocent but her words were unfiltered and blunt. Her image was nothing like the mouth she used.
“Furkal, what have I said about that mouth of yours?” The doctor said with a heavy sigh. Furkal’s gaze dropped as a small blush kissed her chocolate coloured skin. “Apologies Miss Ariana.” Furkal muttered. “Miss Ariana, is it difficult for you to change?” The doctor asked. “nfgskjfkajfkjankjn.” Ariana muttered as she played with the tips of her claws.
“Sorry?” King Joey, Furkal and the doctor asked in unison. Ariana turned a brighter red and covered her face with her hands. “Her transformations are tied to her menstruation.” Cayden said gently. The others jumped back, surprised that he suddenly appeared. “Cough, cough, this is rather unheard of.” The doctor said as he blushed slightly.
“So you change back when your done your period? I would be mortified! I mean everyone will know when I’m on my period or worse, not being able to change back into my fluffy self!” Furkal shouted calling everyone’s eyes to their small group. “FURKAL!” The doctor growled as he sent a fist slamming down on her head. “Again, I apologize for Furkal’s mouth.” The doctor said as he bowed to Ariana.
Ariana turned to look at Furkal who squatted on the floor, slightly crying as she nursed a giant goose egg on her head. “Can I leave now?” Ariana then asked as she turned her gaze up to the doctor. “I would like to do a follow up with you.” The doctor said as he pulled out a a few vials and what looked like a weird needle. “I will be hosting these two at the castle.” King Joey said. “Good, let me draw some blood and I will come see you when I finish running my tests.” The doctor said.
Ariana eyes turned round in panic, her heart was thundering against her chest as the doctor waited for Furkal to stand up and assist with drawing her blood. Ariana watched as Furkal grabbed a rather large, blue rubber strap. She then took a few steps towards Ariana and Ariana lost it. “No!” She shouted as she jumped up and flipped over their heads. “Ariana!” Cayden called out as he tried to chase after her.
Ariana could feel all her senses go into over drive as she pushed through the tent flaps and made it outside. “Dismissed!” She heard a familiar voice call out. Ariana turned and caught sight a huge crowd of Radies with Joanna standing before them. Joanna then turned around and her cold face suddenly turned bight as she smiled. “Miss,” She started to shout but her smile dropped. Joanna closed the distance between the two quickly then grabbed Ariana’s hand.
“You mongrels, plan action 34-A!” Joanna commanded loudly. The crowd of Radies that were idly chatting, turned their gazes to their commander. Ariana paled and wanted to run away but Joanna held her in place. “Ariana!” King Joey called out as he broke through the tent but he soon lost sight of them. The crowd of Radies then formed themselves in between the girls and the King. “Your Majesty, isn’t todays weather marvelous?” A man asked.
“Y-yes positively.” King Joey replied. “What about the new Branson phone, when will they be coming out?” Another asked.
“In a few days they should,” King Joey started to say but he was interrupted.
“Oh I have been interested in the new Goblin Mage series, have you seen it yet?” A voice called out.
“I watched the pilot last,” King Joey started again but he was then bombarded with more questions.
“Cass’s new single is amazing but what do you think?”
“Have you tried the new Macha buns from Dagmar’s yet?
“I was thinking of changing my s.e.x and really need to talk to someone, can you refer me to a good counselor?”
“I have been having more fights with Kar’ Sue as of late, I really need a shoulder to cry on.”
“This way.” Joanna said in a low and dangerous tone before pulling Ariana away. They both ran away without looking back. Once they were far enough Joanna pulled out a phone from her back pocket and touched the screen. Ariana could hear a small ringing sound and then a woman’s voice could be heard.
“I’m ready to be picked up.” Joanna said before she hung up the phone. “Is that a smartphone?” Ariana asked. “A smartphone?” Joanna asked as she stared at Ariana. “Mmmh. I like that, so we’ll say yes.” Joanna said with a bright smile. “Joanna, what is this place?” Ariana asked. “Our oasis.” Joanna replied promptly.
Ariana opened her mouth to ask another question but a shiny, black car rolled up beside them and a woman in a black suit stepped out and opened the door. “Let’s go, we can talk in the…. um, the,” Joanna said as she looked at Ariana. “The car?” Ariana asked. “Yes… the car.” Joanna asked. Joanna climbed in first and then Ariana followed. As Ariana sat down she automatically reached for a seat belt and couldn’t find it.
“Where’s the seat belt?” Ariana asked. “The… the seat belt is by your hip.” Joanna said. “Ah thank you. I thought this was the shoulder one.” Ariana said as she buckled herself in. “Shoulder one?” Joanna asked. “Ya, you know the one you pull over your shoulder and it goes across your chest and you buckle it down in the same spot like this one.” Ariana said innocently.
“Hmmm.” Joanna said as she started to type furiously on her smartphone. “Thes’ Ja, drive.” Joanna ordered. Thes’ Ja nodded her head and the car started to move. Ariana looked out the window as they moved. “Your architecture, well it will sound rude but where do you get your materials to build your skyscr.a.p.ers? I mean outside looks like a dungeon but here, here it looks like we are under a blue sky and normal sun.” Ariana asked.
“It’s all thanks to the Royals.” Joanna said absentmindedly. “The Royals?” Ariana asked. “Mmmh, my family. We have an abundance of knowledge and continue to educate the banished.” Joanna replied.
