“Hey cuz are you still in La la land”Luke teased as they walked out of the hotel.Lake and Luke laughed while Ashlyn quietly smiled.

After a few minutes the place turned serious.”Ash i Don’t think you should trust your step family…..i don’t want to sound teh wrong way but we ahve reasons to believe that-”

They were sitting in a private room in the same hotelSeeing there was no camaras Ashlyn decided to reveal herself to the only people she could trust.

Her whole self transformed so quickly that Luke had to stop in his sentence and stare at her smirking self.Ashlyn crossed one leg over the other and was smirking.

“Oh i know….”

Lake and Luke fell back due to shock.”Y-you can talk!”

“Holy fuck!”

Lake cursed and suddenly started laughing.Later Luke joined.”ha i knew it see Lucas you owe me $100 i told you she was acting..”

Luke sighed in defeat.Ashlyn chuckled.”Luke do you really not know me?”Ashlyn gave him an ‘am offended’ look.

Luke placed his head on his heart.”Ash your acting skills are too scary!”He shouted.Lake chuckled.

“Okay but seriously what are you planning i mean you avoided us for four years!”Lake scolded her seemingly upset.Ashlyn sighed.”It’s part of the plan don’t wordy…”

“I just wanted to let you guys know am fine and i will continue to act until times up….”Ashlyn explained.”What do you mean till times up?”Lukas asked.”I want to leave.My father will send me abroad and there i can start over and do want i always dreamed of….”Ashlyn explained.

Lukas and Lake sighed.”Is that want you want?”Ashlyn nodded.”Then we will forever support you!”Lukas told her and Lake nodded in agreement.”Wait does your husband know?”Lake asked.

Ashlyn thought for a moment.Well he did hear her call so….”Yeah.”She said calmly.

“What?! And he agreed? Wait he is coming with you right?”Lake asked scared for her friend.” Of course…”hope came from Lake until….

“….not.”Ashlyn finished.”What? How can he agree to leave you that mother-”

“Lake calm down its just an arranged marriage….me and him are nothing…”

“What about that kiss?”Luke asked.It looked pretty lovey dovey to him.Ashlyn sighed.”I don’t know acting i guess?”

Ashlyn decided to follow along those lines because she herself did not understand that man.”Mmmm” Lake looked at her suspiciously.

“Right so what are you going to do?”Ashlyn sighed.”We can’t let an outsider enter the Diaz family.My mom led the family with pried and success while the heir had yet to be found.The purple crystal can’t be hers.

In fact the purple crystal had almost like a temporary leading role in the Diaz family because every woman who possessed it had been ideal leaders.This is the reason why her step sister wanted the crystal.

Sessie and her mother had replaced her and her mother’s place in the Brown family household.They stole her father’s affection from her and now the last memory of her mother was about to fall in their hands.

“I planned to leave but now that father wants to give the purple crystal to her I can’t….if i get my crystal i will make sure to use that power against them and if I don’t…..”Her voice lowered for a little but….”then i guess it’s over.”

“No! How can your father do such a thing! Show them who you are!”Lake shouted.”Lake calm down”Luke tried to stop her.

“Where is that Ashlyn i once knew? Huh? Did it die with your mother? Did she not teach you well enough to fight back? Stop being a a pushover and get a hold of yourself.”With that Lake left in anger.

Luke sighed.He actually couldn’t agree more with her sister.”Ash think about it okay? What would your mother want?” After saying his piece Luke left too.

Ashlyn gripped her fists in guilt.They were right though.She had been sweet and caring back then but she always made people respect her and see that she was not a person to be messed with despite being barely 17 years old.Back then not many saw her face because she planned to establish her acting career on her own accords just like her mother did when she was younger.

“Mom…..is this really what you want?”

“It seems that i have been living in the shadow for a few years now so i guess i got used to it….”

“I promised to take care of father and always stay by his side because you would no longer be able to but-”

“How can i stay my that man’s side.Sorry mother but he can no longer be called a father.An dine with the weak and pathetic act.Am tired of pretending to be something am not…”

“Am sorry if i disappointed you mother.”Ashlyn tapped the table and gave an ‘mmmm’
