People were shocked.

There were murmurs,whispers and frowns.A simple birthday party to gain connections with the Brown family had turned into something more complicated.

Sessie looked at her mother.Her mother had a clenched jaw.”Hubby please tell me everything will go according to plan…”Sessie’s mother asked Ashlyn’s father coquettishly.

She was afraid that they would loose power after this so she had to convince her husband to still send Ashlyn away.Her husband mearly nodded making her a bit anxious.

2 cases were displayed for everyone to see.The white crystal and red crystal.

The third one was in a wooden box;the purple crystal.

“Sessie….”Ashlyn’s aunt called out.

Sessie calmed herself down and came foward with a gentle and calm expression.She hugged Ashlyn who complied to her drama.

“So you were acting mute this whole time huh? Bitch so what i still hold more-”

“Are you done?”Ashlyn raised and eyebrow at her.Sessie thought that even if she was not mute fine but it would be to hard for her to act weak and pathetic unless it were true.Thus, she expected Ashlyn to be still afraid of her.

“W-what?”She shuddered.Ashlyn chuckled and hugged her tightly.It the outside it looked like two sisters that care for each other and are very loving and peaceful.

“I said are you done? It’s called acting Sis you should know what it is after all you have a profession on it.”Sessie froze while Ashlyn pushed her away ending their hug.

Sessie could not believe Ashlyn could be so good at acting.Every time she was bullied by her Ashlyn would never retaliate.

“Okay then let the ceremony begin,Sessie”Ashlyn’s aunt smirked at her.Still dazed Sessie walked towards the first crystal very stiffly.

The crystal was the red one.Almost instantly the crystal’s red color turned a darker shade until it turned completely black.

Sessie frowned.She gulped before moving towards the purple crystal which didn’t bother to fade away slowly and instantly turned black as if avoiding some pest—cough

Sessie gulped hard again.She was getting nervous.Ashlyn came near her and patted her shoulder with a smile.”Good luck sis!”

Getting her even more nervous.When she reached the white crustal it’s color didn’t change.

She smiled in delight.So what if she didn’t get the purple crystal at least she had one.A reddish color appeared suddenly making her and everyone think it would turn black.

But it didn’t.

Instead it stayed red and moved to a orange color,slightly dark.

Ashlyn froze….

Everyone froze in fact.

While Sessie and her mother were anticipating more colors to show.

The color went to yellow to green and finally blue and purple.

It had all the colors which meant she was the next heir….

The hall felt silent.Sessie was ecstatic.Conner frowned and So did the Diaz family.

All of a sudden Conner smirked.He got closer to Sessie and smiled.”Since Sessie is the next heir please confirm it to us and take the crystal.”

Sessie nodded.Ashlyn looked at him in disbelief and so did the Diaz family.

Was he not supposed to be on her side??

Conner winked at Ashlyn making her frown in confusion.

When Sessie tried to touch the Crystal it instantly turned black.Due to shock she fell back falling on her bottom. Wuxiaworld for visiting.

Sessie’s morher went to help her up while everyone gasped.

“Never mind I guess not…”Conner joked.”

“Why don’t you let my wife do it instead?”Everyone was confused to his sudden words.

Conner walked to Ashlyn and kissed her cheek.She stood there emotionlessly.”Ash go.”Luke told her making her snap back to reality.

Conner glared at him and Luke took a step back.

Ashlyn took a step to the front and all the black crystal returned to their usual color.Except the white one.

She walked closer and the white crystal bloomed in colors.

It was a rainbow.Everyone froze.

It seems today they kept getting more and more shocking news.

Not only did the white crystal showed all the rainbow colors and claimed Ashlyn as it’s holder and heir but the other two crystals accepted her too.

It was saying she had those three characteristics….

Ashlyn pursed her lips.Her aunt smiled and walked towards her.She took the wooden box of the purple crystal.She took out the crystal and handed it to her palm.Ashlyn still didn’t move though.

She did the same with the other two crystals.

When all the crystals were in Ashlyn’s palm her aunt threw the wooden box on the floor and it broke.She took out a piece of paper and handed it to Ashlyn.

“Hehe that brat really does have good intuition(what the purple crystal stands for)
