Ashlyn sighed in relief seeing her husband did not care at all.Of course she recognized him and got a bit nervous but thankfully he did not make a big deal out of it.”Babe who are they?”

Marcos asked.”Oh this is Mike a close friend” She answered completely ignoring conner whose face went blacker.

“Haha who is he Ash?” Mike asked awkwardly.”Oh this is Marcos my boy friend.”She answered smiling brightly.”Babe i’ll call you later i will go check if Cameron left something in the room.” Marcos smiled awkwardly and kissed the tip of her nose before leaving.

Ashlyn’s lips twitched at his way to normal attitude.She decided to investigate the matter.She had a feeling this was not the first time Marcos cheated on her.I mean she would not allow the guy to touch her so most likely he looked elsewhere for pleasure.

Just the thought made her disgusted,.She rubbed her nose.”eww”

She then took her bag and sunglasses and entered the elevator.

The two men were left there as if they were invisible.Gaining his senses Mike told Conner that his hotel room was ready therefore they followed her inside the elevator.

Ashlyn ignored them and started texting with her best friend on the phone.Mike had purposely let Conner take the side next to Ashlyn so Conner just placed his hands in his pocket with deep displeasure.

How much had this girl changed in two years? Back then during their wedding night she was timid and quiet,keeping her head down at all times.He had set a room for her in front of his to stay there and later he would just leave his house and fly to New york.

Unexpectedly,the timid girl turned into a slutty seductress who he was disgusted at.He threw her off the bed where she had hit her head on the edge of the night stand.He felt guilty but thinking of what she had done he stormed out of the mansion and immediately left for New York that night.

Actually, that day Ashlyn had been extremely down and her mood was sour.Her father had told her to seduce him and that is when her plan started.She had heard rumors of him hating women and being a clean freak thus,she decided to be that and scare him away.Her plan worked perfectly except it brought her harm as well.

When she was pushed off the bed she had hit the corner the nightstand.The pointy side had pierced into the right side of her head.She had seen Conner storm out and was to weak to call for help which resulted in a grave injury and hate for the man.

Even if it was partly her fault he could have been a bit less inhuman she thought.

She was left on her own with a throbbing pain in her head.She was bleeding badly and needed a doctor but she was all alone in the room.There was no servants and it was only her in the house after her husband had left.

The white comfortable rug she was laying on was turning redder minute by minute.It was absorbing the blood dripping from her head.

She passed out and stayed all alone in the house for the whole night.It was not till the next morning that she was found by the old butler.She was there still unconscious and half dead.

The injury was severe due to the force Connen had used and she was immediately sent to the hospital.Not to mention she was bleeding for a whole night.She had suffered a huge loss of blood and stayed in the hospital for over a month.

That is how she had grown close to the old butler.Since it was their wedding night all servants were not supposed to arrive till two days later.Thankfully, her husband had sent the servants a day earlier if not who knows she would probably had died then and there.

The injury left her a scar in the corner of her head.It could be easily covered by her hair though and it did not stop her from still looking as beautiful as ever.

Ashlyn sighed.It seemed seeing him again had brought up that memory again.Honestly she could not stop hating the man to this day.

You can call her dramatic but come on she almost died!

Its her life were talking about!

She ignored the two man and continued texting.When the elevator door closed she pressed the the number to where she was heading.

At the same tome Mike whispered their number to Connen.He noddded and ended brushing his fingers with hers sending him an electric spark.

Before he could retreat his hand Ashlyn had pressed the button and smacked his hand away.She then continued to type nonchalantly.

Connen frowned and Mike looked at him with amusement.

[Ash,My dad wants you to come tomorrow we will have a welcome back party.]

Reading Cameron’s text Ashlyn chuckled.Connen froze.He seemed to have been hypnotized by her soft laughter so he coughed and quickly changed his expression to a blank one. Wuxiaworld for visiting.
