Mystic High Popularity Rating - Volume 1 Chapter 32 Awake 25

When I opened my eyes I wasn’t in the same white tiled bathroom I had fainted in, but rather a navy blue colored room with matching bed sheets that covered me. I was in Violets room.
I looked around for Ivy and Violet’s familiar faces but was met with nothing but an empty room. I sighed softly.
I slowly lifted the blanket covers and let my legs dangle off the edge as I slowly got up. I went to the small dresser in the room that had my backpack placed next to it. Picking it up, I made my way slowly to the door of the room, but as I was opening the door to leave, I walked into someone.
“Sorry about- that…” I paused. I gasped slightly as Vikky stood in front of me awkwardly.
“Oh, your awake.. I’ll go get Violet and Ivy. Are you thirsty? I can get you something to drink.” She said with a scratchy horse voice.
“Ah.. no I’m fine thank you though.” I said. I looked her up and down just to make sure I wasn’t seeing anything. Her bright violet eyes were still focused on me as she stood there silently. I raised an eyebrow.
“Oh! I’m sorry.. it’s just that all of you are very pretty. sorry for staring.” She quickly apologized before looking down at the ground. I laughed before nodding and smiling slightly.
“Thank you for the compliment but I don’t think so. Any who, we should head downstairs yeah?” I said looking at her. She nodded quickly and turned around to go downstairs.
Although she was taller than most girls and even slightly taller than me, she had a slender frame that made her brown skin tone drastically lighter than it should be. I furrowed my eyebrows together as I walked behind her.
Before I could ask her anything, we arrived in the living room where Ivy and Violet her taking. Ivy jumped out of her chair as soon as her eyes landed on me and rushed over.
“Oh my god are you okay? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Are you feeling dizzy? Do you want to lie down?” She asked bombarding me with questions. I smiled slightly as I shook my head.
“I’m fine, sorry for worrying you.” I said. Ivy’s eyes started to water as she hugged me tightly. I hugged her back as she started crying uncontrollably.
“Y-you scared me so much! The way you just ran off, I, I thought you were gonna die!” She sobbed. I frowned slightly and hugged her tighter. Violet yawned from the couch.
“Stop being dramatic Ivy she was still breathing, she just….” Violet paused trying to think of the word. “Fainted.” She finally said. Ivy kicked of her slipper into her hand and threw it at Violet. Jumping, Violet rushed out of the way as the slipper made a smacking sound against the wall before falling to the ground.
“Are you trying to kill me!?! I only said the truth!” Violet yelled angrily at Ivy.
“She just woke up after passing out in the school bathroom and all you can do is shrug your shoulders?!??” Ivy practically growled out in anger. Violet looked at the both of us for a second before bringing her hand to rub the back of her neck.
“I guess it came out wrong. I’m glad your okay.” Violet said with a guilty smile.
“It’s fine, but are we really not going to discuss the elephant in the room?” I said. Violet and Ivy took a second before “oh”-ing in realization.
“Sara, meet Vikky, Vikky, meet Sara.” Violet said. I turned to look at Vikky who was facing me with a small smile.
“Nice to meet you Sara.” She said. Her scratchy voice still there.
“Nice to meet you as well.” I said.
“Which grade are you in?” I asked.
“Oh, I’m in-” but before she could answer, the home phone in the kitchen started ringing.
“I’ll get it!” Violet yelled even though we were right next to her. Rushing off to the kitchen.
“Hello?”
“Yes. Who is this?”
“Excuse me? Do you know who your-”
There was a long pause. Then Violet sighed.
“I got it I got it, stop nagging.”
“Yes now if you want me to get her you better keep quiet!”
Then Violet hung up the phone and walked over to us.
“Uh Vikky, some old folks called saying your there daughter? Have you heard of the Robin family? They said that-” Violet started but was interrupted by Vikky’s violent shaking of her head.
“No. Whatever he said, no it’s not true.” Vikky said.
“But I haven’t said anything yet.” Violet replied. “And I never said it was a “he” on the phone yet either.” Violet stared at Vikky hard, analyzing Vikky’s face.
“Are you okay? Is something going on that we should know.” Ivy questioned. Slowly getting closer to rest a hand on Vikky’s shoulder. Vikky flinched away quickly.
“Um, I think, I think I should go.” She said. She sped over to the entrance before grabbing her bag and opening the door. We all rushed behind her.
“Wait Vikky!” Violet yelled. Vikky gave a slight smile and waved goodbye.
“It was nice meeting you all. I have to go now.” She said. She closed the door behind her.
The three of us stood there quietly. Just then, the phone rang again, except this time it was Violets cellphone. She placed the phone next to her ear.
“Hello? Oh, Hi! ” she said, her face instantly brightening.
“Yes, yeah we’re all free. Yeah.”
“Ok, see you in ten? Right. Bye!”
She cut off the phone with a smile.
“Who was that?” Ivy asked.
“Jacob.” She said. Ivy fake gagged.
“What did he say? Are we meeting them somewhere?” I asked ignoring Ivy’s antics.
“There on there way here!” Violet exclaimed.
The room went quiet.
