Naked Sword Art - Chapter 297: Cursed Boy
“Welcome back, Fang.”

Despite not hearing his father’s voice in over a year, the only thing Xiao Fang could feel in that moment was rage. For more than 20 years his mother had been a prisoner in this sect, but in all that time, Xiao Fang had never seen his father visit her even once.
“What does the Chaos sect want with Yu An?” Xiao Fang asked, getting straight to the point.
Many of the Elders, including Xiao Jianhong, were surprised by his words.
“So you already know that much. I could tell you, but what would you do if you knew?” Xiao Jianhong replied.
“What I do with that information will be up to me, but one way or another, I will get the answer I need,” Xiao Fang said as his muscles flexed and his grip tightened on his sword.
This was the first time Xiao Jing was seeing her older brother, so she couldn’t help but get excited to see what he could do.
‘Is he really the man my instructors have been comparing me to? Why is he hiding his cultivation realms?’ she thought.
At first glance, Xiao Fang looked like an expert swordsman with an incredible physique, but she couldn’t feel his natural aura at all. Just when things seemed to be getting good, Xiao Jianhong suddenly spoke.
“Everyone, out. It seems Fang and I have some catching up to do.”
The Elders didn’t want to get involved, so they were quick to leave, but Lady Xu, on the other hand, didn’t move.
“I will stay. He may not be my son, but I am his step mother. It’s about time that we finally got to know each other,” Lady Xu said.
“I want to stay too,” Xiao Jing quickly said, but she was immediately berated by her mother.
“Don’t talk back to your father like that. If he tells you to do something then you must do as you’re told.”
“But you-”
Xiao Jing abruptly held her tongue the moment she saw her mother’s furious stare. Talking back to her father was one thing, but she feared what her mother would do if she talked back to her as well.
Xiao Jing finally got up then reluctantly walked towards the door. However, when she reached Xiao Fang, she paused as she looked up at him curiously. She didn’t realize it before, but Xiao Fang was incredibly handsome. She could only imagine what he looked like without his blindfold on.
“Hey, what kind of shameless things were you talking about earlier?” Xiao Jing asked innocently.
Xiao Fang slightly turned his head in her direction as if to look down at her from the corner of his eyes, but in the next moment Xiao Jing heard her mother shout to her,
“Out!”
As soon as she heard those words, Xiao Jing tucked her head in as she quickly scurried away, closing the doors on her way out.
“That girl gets on my nerves,” Lady Xu said after a long sigh.
“You were a lot like her when you were her age,” Xiao Jianhong smirked playfully.
“Those were different times,” Lady Xu quickly replied.
“Enough!” Xiao Fang said. “You will tell me what I want to know. Where is my mother, and what does the Chaos sect want with her?”
“Hmph,” Lady Xu scoffed, but with that simple scoff her Divine might quickly enveloped the room.
“It’s best you watch your tone around me, young man,” she said belittlingly.
It only took a second for Xiao Fang to figure out who Lady Xu was, so seeing her seated next to his father with all her fancy clothes and jewelry only infuriated him to no end.
This was the way Yu An was supposed to be treated, this was the life she was supposed to live. Lady Xu had just come from an enemy sect, but she was already being treated like royalty. Of course Xiao Fang couldn’t accept this.
“You’re the bitch from the Chaos sect. You’re a long way from home, old lady, so I suggest you quiet down. Just looking at you makes me sick,” Xiao Fang threatened.
He couldn’t understand what the Chaos Sect would want with his mother, but if it wasn’t for them, Yu An would’ve still been here.
“Xiao Fang!” Lady Xu barked angrily at him. “Not only have you insulted me, but you even dare to wield a sword in the Patriarch’s Hall. You are courting death!”
However, before she could even finish her sentence, Xiao Fang raised his sword then brought it down with the might of a thousand dragons.
[ Divine Sword Cutting Sea ]
The air howled ferociously as the sword came down. At the same time, a black projectile crescent slash of sword Qi shot out of his sword, but Lady Xu simply raised her hand to counter it with a mocking smirk on her face.
In the next moment, a basic Divine Spirit Qi condensation attack quickly shot out from her palm at Xiao Fang, but what she didn’t expect was what happened next. Her basic Qi attack was suddenly split in half.
“What?!” Lady Xu exclaimed in shock.
In the next moment, a loud boom sounded out as the chair she had been sitting on got blown to bits, but Lady Xu was no longer there.
Not even a fraction of a second later, Lady Xu reappeared in a different part of the room, but the upper portion of her robes had been cut, exposing a bit of her milky-white breasts.
She quickly covered it up with her hand before trying to repair it with her Qi, but before she could, Xiao Fang suddenly appeared in front of her looking completely different than before.
His hair was white, his aura was blue, and there were occasional sparks of lightning flashing around him in an intimidating fashion. She immediately knew what it was, but she was too late to react.
“Too slow,” Xiao Fang said.
In the next moment, he swung his sword without hesitation, but before he could pierce her flesh, the sound of iron striking iron suddenly rang out. Lady Xu quickly jumped back when she realized she was okay, then saw the person that had stopped Xiao Fang’s sword was none other than her husband, Xiao Jianhong.
“Why are you helping her?” Xiao Fang asked as he stood face to face with his father, with their clashing swords between them.
“You may be my son, but she is my wife, you should treat her with some respect,” Xiao Jianhong said with a calm tone.
Xiao Fang pushed off his sword then swung down on him a few times, before jumping back to create some distance. Xiao Jianhong easily deflected Xiao Fang’s strikes without changing the easy expression on his face. Xiao Fang might’ve been quick, but his father’s skills and experience far surpassed his own.
“Fuck respect. If it wasn’t for her, my mother would still be here. Since they have taken someone away from me, I will be taking someone from them.”
“Those are quite the words from a cripple. Unless, of course, your eyes have finally healed,” Lady Xu suddenly said.
Xiao Fang was shocked, but tried to hide it as if he didn’t know what she was talking about. However, Xiao Jianhong’s next words finally made him lose his composure.
“Xiao Fang, you can trust her, she already knows about the Elixir.”
Xiao Fang couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Did his father already forget who the enemies were? How many times did he see his friends return from the war crippled or killed? Some of the younger ones would even be brought back without a full corpse. He had never known his father to be such a fool, so he couldn’t help but assume that Lady Xu had him under some kind of spell.
Xiao Fang knew that he couldn’t fight his father with his blindfolds on, because they could both move faster than his ears could hear. Since Lady Xu was going to be dead anyways, Xiao Fang finally removed the blindfold that covered his face, but at the same time, the doors suddenly slammed shut as the air around him got violent, blowing out most of the candles in the room.
“In that case, she needs to die,” Xiao Fang said as he opened his violet eyes.
His eyes glowed ferociously as his natural aura final enveloped the dimly lit up room.
Once his blindfold was off they could finally feel Xiao Fang’s battle power which was equivalent to someone at the peak of the Divine realm. However, the thing that shocked Lady Xu wasn’t his aura, nor his eyes, but the black markings suddenly spreading on his naked torso. She was familiar with the markings, but she couldn’t believe that it would be on him.
Xiao Jianhong, on the other hand, was no longer smiling, but wasn’t shocked either. He feared this would happen, but had been informed beforehand of the possibility of it happening.
“So you already learned how to use it,” Xiao Jianhong said.
Lady Xu, however, was not nearly as calm when she spoke her next few words.
“That boy… is cursed.”
