Naruto: Bloodline Saiyan - Chapter 19

“I don’t understand sakumo, calm down and let’s talk” Hiruzen didn’t want to fight Sakumo, nobody would do well in this fight, and they would probably destroy the village, it wasn’t worth it. Unfortunately, Sakumo, devoid of any visible emotion, spoke in a monotonous voice.  “You know very well what he did, he targeted my kids to be ROOT members!”

‘He’s a dead man!’ Everyone understood what happened, and everyone understood the meaning behind that sentence, he was not just talking, he was stating!

In the middle of the silence, you could hear some footsteps down the hall, from the rhythm of the sound it felt like you were running.  Soon a voice was heard.  “Who dares to attack the Hokage’s office!” the voice echoed with a tone of authority.

Before the figure could appear, Sakumo turned the center of his body and reacted in the same second he heard, running at high speed towards the door, before the figure could react Sakumo slashed with his tantö.

AAGGRRRRR !!!!  There was a muffled scream.

Before he could cut Danzo again, Hiruzen managed to reach Sakumo and stop the movement of his sword with his weapon of war, in a short period of time he invoked his summons.

The man who had been cut was Shimura Danzo, the cut was quite deep in his ċhėst, the cut extended from his abdomen to his right ċhėst, Sakumo obviously used wind chakra, he intended to split him in half.

“What do you think you were doing ?!”  Yelled Danzo demanding an answer from the White Fang, if he were a second slower and Hiruzen did not stop his second blow he would have been a dead man.

He was afraid! And it pissed him off deep inside.

“Shut up now, Danzo!”  He shouted back as he concentrated on the man in front of him, he felt that if he hesitated for a second he would kill Danzo. The situation was extremely delicate.

“Put your sword down, Sakumo. Things can still be resolved, don’t force things beyond that point, it can become irreversible. You don’t want your kids to grow up on their own, right?” Hiruzen knew it was low to use his children as a means of negotiation, but it was the only thing he could think of at the time.

A little reason entered Sakumo’s mind, and he lowered his tantö as he removed the chakra from his weapon. He looked without emotion at Danzo and spoke.  “Get out of here before I decide to split you in half even if I have to die fighting the Hokage”.

Danzo clenched his teeth in anger and humiliation, but he was no longer the young man impulsed by anger and emotion, he calmed down and stood up.  Hiruzen gestured for Anbu to get him out of there quickly.

Hiruzen undid his summons and seriously asked sakumo, “Are you ready to talk now?”

Sakumo thought for a few seconds and finally made up his mind.  “I’ve seen a lot in my life, and I’ve experienced a lot too. Always on the right and the wrong side. You know very well what Danzo is doing behind your back, there’s no use denying it to me”

“Today I will not kill him, but if he dares to do anything against my children, no matter what the medium, be it communication, missions, information, concealment, friends, ninja, anbu, tamper with information. I will hunt him down and kill it! ”

“Is this a threat?” Hiruzen narrowed his eyes, his statement made him look like he was going to kill everyone who got in his way.

“That is a promise!” Sakumo replied with total confidence.

“And I am abdicating my position as commander of the ninja forces, I wish to be demoted to a standard jonin” Sakumo declared his intentions. There was no reason to work with such a Hokage.

“Are you serious?” Hiruzen replied in surprise, The damage his friend caused him today was enormous, and he lost an extremely valuable ȧsset in the war!  It could burst within 5 years !.

“Yes” replied sakumo and turned to leave, he may not have killed Danzo today and knew he couldn’t, not with people watching

Hiruzen did not stop him and did not look for problems with this man either, anyone would realize that his mental state was not the best, many ninjas break mentally after a long time as a ninja, some can’t stand the pressure and give up, others create strange hobbies, others enter anbu, these are the most dangerous.

Which one was sakumo? He didn’t want to be the man to find that out.

“What to do now …. and how to solve this with Danzo …” murmured Hiruzen.
