Naruto: Child of Chakra - Chapter 121
Itachi was taken aback, who would have thought that the most secured possession of the Uchiha clan would be thrown around like this. But, he didn’t care about it anymore.
Itachi felt like his own existence was a mystery to him. He felt that he should not be let alive, but now he wanted to live, to fight this alien thing that is endangering the world. On the other hand, he didn’t know if he was an Uchiha anymore, since he killed them all, he didn’t have any right to be that. Uchiha was just in his name.
“Lady Monari read this with her Eternal Mangekyo. Apparently, this stone tablet seems different depending on the version of Sharingan you have.” Shisui spoke.
“Really? But all I can see here is about the History of the Ninja world, something I already knew. There is one very disturbing thing though.” Shiroken spoke..
“History? What history? Lady Monari saw the step to make a Rinnegan, which was to have both Uchiha and Senju DNA in one body. Does this mean you can read the final version of this tablet without Rinnegan?” Shisui wondered.
“It seems so. Apparently, If one were to initiate the Infinite Tsukuyomi, the Uchiha would remain unaffected. Fools, whoever made this stone tablet clearly does not know anything. Once the Infinite Tsukuyomi is cast, everyone will go into eternal sleep, seeing their desired life as a dream. How is that making the world at peace?” Shiroken commented.
But this made Shiroken question, “But how did Nagato get these eyes? He was neither a Senju nor an Uchiha. This means someone did plant them in him, but still, who do they belong to?” Shiroken wondered.
“Maybe… Madara Uchiha?” Itachi blurted.
“And what makes you say that?” Shiroken inquired.
Itachi started, “Because it is known that Madara was the first Uchiha to activate the Mangekyo Sharingan in a long time. His brother also died before him, so there is a possibility he used those eyes to make his eyes Eternal. He was the head of the Uchiha clan at that point, so he had unrestricted access to this stone tablet.
“Only he had the chance to read it, and he had many alive Senju clan members around him.”
That was a brilliant theory. But we have no way of proving it. Shiroken though put a lot of thought into it. “You’re right. This could be possible. But let’s not forget, even Danzo somehow got a hold of Hashirama’s DNA. Not to mention, there is a mad Uchiha on the run, named Obito, wreaking havoc everywhere. It could be anyone.”
“What are we going to do, Lord Dama? Focus on this or Kumo and Iwa?” Shisui asked.
“World peace comes first, these evil villains will keep on planning, no matter if we look for them or not. I will constantly keep making progress towards finding that black thing and stop it. You two can leave. Ah… Itachi, where is the other eye of Shisui? At least give that to him, so that he can look cool with an eye patch.” Shiroken jokingly said.
“It’s in the crow Shisui put in. I will call it.” Itachi headed to the window.
But Shiroken was shocked, “YOU GAVE YOUR EYE TO A CROW?!”
Shisui embarrassingly nodded, “It seemed the best option at that time. Knowing it can’t misuse it and also easily be controlled by Itachi.”
“Smart boy. Don’t worry, I will open Danzo’s skull and take your eye back,” he assured Shisui. Seeing he didn’t need to be there anymore, he went out to work on the country’s administration.
…
Konoha,
When this was happening, trouble was brewing in Konoha.
“What is this? Again? Who leaked this information?” Tsunade sat in her office, rubbing her forehead. It wasn’t the work that tired her, but the constant scheme going on in the village.
Each clan had their own agendas, their secret wishes. Each wanted something from her and they were ready to do anything for it. But, currently what angered her was how someone had thrown words around that Shiroken now owned Konoha. Telling everyone that Shiorken was also the ruler of Wind Country and Sunagakure. What made it worse was that now people knew Shiroken ran the village’s finances.
“It had just been 1 day since he was gone and a mess had started to compile. “If we don’t deal with this we will see another situation like the Uchiha rebellion,” Jiraiya warned her.
“I understand, Jiraiya. Don’t say the obvious, tell me if you have a solution.” She nagged.
“Hehe… anything for our dear princess-Tsunade. Well, the cause of all this is surely Danzo. Only he had the access to all of this. Him or Lord third. But, Lord Third is already depressed by his life choices, I don’t think he would do this.” He revealed.
*BAM*
Tsunade angrily stood up and slapped her palm on the table, “THAT TRAITOR. Then let’s go and grab him.”
Jiraiya sighed, “It won’t be that easy. He has the full might of Root. There are at least a few hundred. While we, the only non-clan aligned Jonin will be on our side since most likely others have gotten words from their clans.
Danzo was smart enough to warn these clan heads that you would try to declare him a traitor, knowing very well that now if you tried to reveal all his deeds to them then that would implicate Lord Third. This would make all the clans angry at the Konoha administration, they will never believe in a Hokage again, possibly even plunging the village into a civil war for the seat of Hokage.”
*THUD*
Tsunade sat back on her seat tiredly, “I wish Lord Third had killed him in time. Which clans are involved in this, do we know that?”
“Yes, I have the list. Aburame Clan is loyal to him. Danzo has been using their members for some time now. Akimichi clan is not decided but tilting towards Danzo. Hyuga clan has also decided to side with him, since they never seem to be satisfied with the administration. Inuzuka clan is doubtful, but in general, have a negative view of you. Nara clan is neutral, they probably sense something fishy. Sarutobi clan has sided with us, probably a push from Lord Third. Yamanaka clan is also with us as they operate the many surveillance divisions and they saw weird things happening from Danzo’s side.” Jiraiya revealed the whole situation to her.
The situation was much worse than expected. Too many clans had shown doubt on the Hokage. This never goes well. “What about the civilians? What do they think?”
Jiraiya smiled at this, “Well, saying they like Lord Dama would be an understatement. They love everything related to him. Hell, they are even planning to make his statue in the middle of the newly constructed half of the village.
“Not just that, about 5 Nidama Clan members have come here with over 1,000 carriages worth of goods. Their price is very reasonable and people are spending on it. Have you ever tasted a drink that feels like the smell of the first rain falling on the muddy ground? I did. The variety and strangeness of Dama Country’s products are too much, and everything is being sold. There are even now posters of Lord Dama and the nine-tailed beasts. There are also cute little stuffed toys based on the tailed beasts, similar to what I saw in Dama Country.”
*Sigh* “Well, we don’t have to worry about the people then. As long as we can convince all these clan members, we can go after Danzo.” She firmly decided.
“And how will you do that?” Jiraiya inquired.
“By talking, what else? I will visit all these clans myself. And, if nothing works, I’m sure Lord Dama also knows about this. He didn’t seem like a person who overlooks such things.” She confidently planned. Jiraiya seemed surprised by her faith in Shiroken, but he accepted it, knowing the man was a god on earth.
…
Next Day,
Shiroken was outside Sunagakure. He was cultivating the land with natural energy. And now since he basically owned the whole country, he didn’t limit himself to just 20 square kilometres he bought. Instead, he went for a hundred square kilometres. If he was successful, the village would be surrounded by green fields and jungles in future, just like Konoha.
With him was little Gaara, whom Shiroken had decided to make his student. Now he has Gaara, Haku and Shirajin as his students. But Gaara didn’t know about this yet.
“Haha, boy, try it again, I’m sure you can fly over a cloud of sand. Hey, Shukaku, help the boy, will you? Just consider that your parting gift with the boy.” Shiroken suggested.
Shukaku scoffed, “Huh, I was a prisoner, why would I gift him?”
“Well, you did take his sleep away from him for 13 years.” Shiroken pointed.
Remembering this, as well as the crying face of Gaara last night, where he cried for his mother, telling her that he is not evil. That scene made Shukaku feel bad too. It reminded him of Shiroken, who also looked sad whenever he thought about his parents, which he never even had.
“Argh… fine. Kid, don’t just associate the sand with the ground. The trick is to use Wind and Earth release together…”
And hence, Shiroken let Shukaku teach Gaara. Shiroken knew Shukaku had no reason to help Gaara, but he wanted Gaara to have a good impression of the tailed beasts. He hoped this would help.
“ALL RIGHT! TIME TO TURN WIND COUNTRY ON ITS HEAD!” He warmed up and flew at lightning speed to cover the whole land.
[A/N: I wish Goku was this smart, he could have become the richest farmer in the world with this. Even a single day would have been enough for him to plough and also harvest. He could have tapped a happy Chichi with this, not the always nagging one.]
