Naruto: Child of Chakra - Chapter 130
Shiroken gathered everyone and left for his home. The journey was instantaneous so they didn’t really have to wait too long.
…
Dama Country was a country where dreams come true. There was no social divide that made one bigger than the other. No matter how high in the government someone was, they were all the same as someone who makes a living on small-time fishing.
Due to this, the people lived a very fulfilling life. This was also one of the reasons why many traders and businessmen who came to the country just to trade end up becoming permanent citizens.
Many tourists who come to the country also remain back to enjoy the place.. Dama Country had no Shinobi villages. Yet they had shinobi schools. People were not discriminated against by anyone because that’s what they get taught from a young age.
The country had a transfer policy, where all civil servants change their location every few years, this is to stop any corruption from happening. Many examples were already set in the past, with the greedy ones being jailed to a death sentence, depending on the severity of their corruption and what their actions led to. For example, if corruption by an official led to bad development of the road, and due to that a cart overturned and someone died, then that murder was on the official. And if it was not the Official’s mistake then the contractor was caught.
So, it was a pretty stressful job. Only those with utmost confidence joined the services, and usually, these were good men. Hence, the country grew like a good efficient machine.
However, the country had a religion. It was more of a spiritual one though. All nine tailed beasts were now a representative of one human aspect to the people, and due to this, they worshipped them as such. The list was as such.
Shukaku – Anger
Matatabi – Respect
Isobu – Humility
Son Goku – Pride
Kokuo – Peace
Saiken – Kindness
Chomei – Happiness
Gyuki – Wisdom
Kurama – Wits
The tailed beasts didn’t even know about this as they remained busy with their own lives. Chomei loved travelling and singing, Saiken was at his farm and Isobu was at the sea.
Only now that more members were coming back that things would look different.
…
In a split second, they arrived back inside the courtyard of Dama Country’s Palace. Shiroken, Monari, Sand Siblings, Sound 5, Kimimaro, Minato and Naruto, Itachi and Shisui, Roshi. All of them were a big pack.
The people in the palace got alerted but calmed down when they saw Shiroken.
“Shisui, you take everyone to have some rest. Gaara, Naruto and Roshi, you three are coming with me. It’s about time we got them out of their prison.” Shiroken ordered.
Minato still followed, to see his son’s safety, as so did the sand siblings. Roshi was the only loner in the group since he lacked a family.
They all arrived near a lake with big enough space to accommodate the tailed beasts. The place was built while keeping them in mind. Chomei, Saiken and Isobu had also come to see three more of their brothers get free.
“Let’s go with the number of tails. Gaara, come here, boy.” He called for him.
Gaara confidently walked up to him and stood by his side. Shiroken made him lie down on a platform specially made for this work. “Don’t worry, you won’t even feel anything. I will make you sleep.”
Gaara nodded and closed his eyes. Immediately he found himself in Shukaku’s prison. Shukaku didn’t attack him, however.
“Kid, you can fall asleep now, I guess. But let me warn you. The only reason you’re not dead is me. The sand you think your mother uses to save you was actually me all the time.
“So, don’t be reckless from now on. Don’t think you’re invincible.” Shukaku advised him.
Gaara knew about this the moment he had learnt about the beast’s power and his name. He knew it was not his mother who protected him. “Thanks.”
With that, Gaara lost his complete consciousness and slowly Shukaku disappeared from his mind space.
Outside, Shiroken had started to pull Shukaku out of the body while healing the damage caused by the existence of the tailed beast in him. Temari and Kankuro patiently watched as the whole process took place. Gaara seemed fine as if he was sleeping.
*BOOM*
Then out of the blue, a large frame appeared beside Shiroken. A sandy coloured giant beast with the black random pattern on him appeared.
“I’M BACK! WHO MISSED ME?” Shukaku announced loudly.
“Shu-Chan!” Chomei jumped to give him a hug. Shukaku had been missing the longest after all.
*BONK*
Saiken however slammed one of his tails on Shukaku’s head, “You dare not run away ever again. You have no idea how worried Shiro was.”
“Hehe… sorry, guys.” Shukaku smiled wryly while rubbing his racoon head. He turned to Shiro, “It’s good to see you physically.”
“It is indeed. Let’s have a fun party later with everyone else.” Shiroken said and focused on Gaara.
It took him a total of 20 minutes to finish the whole process. Next was Roshi and Son Goku. The man had already given up, knowing he had no way of running away. And seeing Gaara being okay, he didn’t worry anymore.
Roshi was a proud man, he didn’t have good relations with Son Goku, not even carrying to call him by his name. He never referred to the Son Goku by his true name, stating that he would become soft-hearted enough if he did that.
Shiroken didn’t care much about this man, nor did Son Goku. So there was no sad or memorable talk between the two.
*BOOM*
“MONKEY POWER GOOOO…” Son Goku appeared to be jumping. He splashed into the lake, giving everyone a shower.
*BAM*
Son Goku instantly punched Shukaku, “You fool, you said you’d return quickly.”
Shukaku sighed, he knew getting beaten was going to be the fashion for the coming few days. But he was no one to take it down without speaking back, “Huh, shut up, monkey. Just like you, I was also caught.”
Son Goku laughed, “Hahaha… we were caught because we were distracted and couldn’t fight. You were caught by the weak little Shinobi of a small village.”
And, unknowingly, how they got caught became a dick measuring contest.
Shiroken ignored them and asked the next person to come, which was Naruto. Perhaps Naruto had the best relations with his tailed beast. It was shocking that the beast was Kurama.
Inside Naruto’s Mind Space, a small chat was going on. Kurama was talking to Naruto while he rested.
“Kid, you’re one of the dumbest humans I have ever seen. But also one of the nicest ones. I taught you what little I could to a human of your calibre. Rest is up to you on how much you train.” Kurama said in a passive-aggressive manner.
Naruto nodded, “Thank you, Lord Kurama. I… You didn’t kill me when you had the chance. Thank you for telling me about my family.”
Kurama scoffed, “Huh, I did that for myself. If I had killed you then Shiro might have felt bad.”
Naruto made a funny face, “Hehe… I know you are a kind being. I hope we can be friends later too.”
“Hmph… You puny little human, we can never be friends. I’m the Mighty Kurama. Call me master whenever you see me, as it was I, who taught you.” Kurama snobbishly said.
Naruto didn’t get angry, he suddenly lept and hugged the furry face of Kurama. “Hehe, bye-bye.”
And with that, Naruto fell asleep. Kurama scoffed in disgust, “Damn kids. I hope Shiro has some good ones.”
*BOOM*
Outside, Kurama appeared in all his glory, His 9 tails fluttering. He was majestic for sure. He looked around proudly, and then at Shiroken.
*BAM*
Shiroken suddenly jumped and hugged his head, “Aw… I missed my bed so much.”
(•ˋ _ ˊ•)
Kurama frowned, “Eh… Is that all you missed?”
“Pfft… I was just kidding, Kurama. I missed you a lot. EVERYONE! GROUP HUG TIME!”
“YEEE!”
Saiken, Chomei, Isobu, Shukaku and Son Goku, all jumped over to hug Kurama. Shiroken also jumped one after another and hugged them. Their giant bodies were enough to inflict fear on anyone, but right now, all who saw this scene were smiling widely.
It was cute because this showed that those they considered mindless beasts were just simple beings who loved their families. Who were like humans too, thirsty for love and warmth.
“OH! ME TOO!” Monari also jumped over with Shirajin in her arms.
