Naruto: Child of Chakra - Chapter 133
“BIG BROTHER!”
The cute little dragon, Kuronosuke, flew directly into a hug with Shiroken. He hadn’t grown much bigger, as Dragons age slowly.
Kurosaki was there, towering over the entire city. But people were used to seeing him now as he’s been living near Saiken’s farm for a while. He rarely came to the city.
“So, are you all ready?” Shiroken asked. He was going to seal Kurosaki, Kuronosuke and his mum and dad. There were also Son Goku, Shukaku and Kurama. All had agreed to do this.
“I’ve been waiting for a while now, kid,” Kurosaki nodded with his giant house-sized head..
“Good, let’s start then,” Shiroken asked the Uzumaki clan members to come and help.
They made a big circle around all of them. The main focus was on Shiroken, as the Ten amendments seal was supposed to be based mostly on one person. As the seal already had words written on it, there was no need to change it.
Next, all he had to do was seal everyone in himself, “Don’t try to fight the suction, everyone. I will release you in an instant after this is done.”
They all nodded and waited for the seal to activate.
…
When this was happening, some political developments were taking place. Kumogakure had sent an envoy to Konoha. It was Darui, the right-hand man of the Raikage.
He was allowed to meet Tsunade immediately and he was led to the Hokage building.
“To what do we owe this pleasure? Has Kumogakure changed its mind on attacking Konoha?” Tsunade asked directly.
Darui, a calm and collected man (really lazy), answered, “No, Lord Raikage has a different plan. He hopes to meet Lord Dama and hold talks with him. Lord Raikage hopes to resolve everything without any bloodshed.”
Tsunade looked at his face for a minute, “Hmm, are you planning on somehow inviting him to your grounds and then trying to seal him in some sealing Jutsu that you think is too strong?”
Darui’s face looked visibly shocked for a second, Tsunade seemed to have struck the nail. Darui sighed, “We did initially, but I guess it won’t work.”
“Well, I heard the Five Demon seal didn’t work on him. If you have any stronger seal then you can try, but I do warn you that after you’re done with your games, he will start his, and you won’t like those.” Tsunade warned him.
“Then… I am here to sincerely give you this. A formal invitation by Lord Raikage for Lord Dama to visit Kumogakure.” Darui handed over a scroll.
Tsunade read it, it had the official seal of the Raikage. But, she put it to the side, “He will most likely not agree. But I will contact him, he isn’t in the village right now. You should think about a middle ground as a meeting place in fact since only a fool would enter the enemy territory. Although I have doubts that Lord Dama might indeed enter because he’s just too strong.”
“Where is he?” Darui asked.
Tsunade shrugged, “I don’t know. Maybe Sunagakure, or in the Dama Country. He can be anywhere.”
*Sigh* “Fine, I will talk to Lord Raikage first.” Darui got up to leave.
It was a strange meeting for sure. Tsunade was surprised by Darui’s relaxedness, she at least hoped that the man would be on alert to some level. But he just admitted to planning to catch Shiroken in a seal, though she guesses that Kumo didn’t really have much confidence in that plan.
*Sigh* “Shizune, I guess we need to find a way to contact Lord Dama.” Tsunade spoke.
Shizune nodded, “Of course, Lady Tsunade. Which dress would you like to wear when you visit him?”
Tsunade paused and tried to think what Shizune even meant, “What are you on about?”
“Umm… I thought… you and Lord Dama were a couple… after you were hugging him.” She stuttered but finally asked the question that was burning her heart all this time.
(; ¬_¬)
“WHAT? NO NO… What’s wrong with you Shizune? No, we’re not a thing. We’re not even compatible with each other. And honestly… I feel like I’m his secretary at this point, just the one that’s running the village in his stead.” Tsunade muttered.
“A hot secretary, I must say.” Shizune blurted.
Tsunade turned red, “Are you drinking these days, Shizune? You’ve turned bolder it seems. Let’s go, we have work to do.”
*SLAM*
“LADY HOKAGE! I found this note from Kakashi’s home. He didn’t appear for a few days so I went to check.” Guy entered the office.
Tsunade took the note and read it. “I will return in a few days. I am safe and have gone away due to some personal reasons. – Kakashi Hatake.”
Tsunade sat back in her chair frustratedly, “WHY? Why can’t I have just one day go without any problems? I hate this job.”
…
Danzo found out about Darui visiting Konoha and staying in it for the foreseeable future. He felt this was an opportunity sent from the heavens.
As always, his mind worked in ways that ensured the village’s administration stayed busy, having no time to focus on him. But peace with Kumo was something he never wanted.
His need was for the chaos because the chaos was a ladder to the top. So he needed chaos and what better way than the death of an ambassador who came to establish peace?
Danzo started working on this goal of his. And he would himself come out to do it if he has to. He had gone blind by his accumulating rage to become the Hokage now, so blind that he failed to see his pathetic existence was nothing more than that of a cockroach. He failed to see that the shoe was already hovering over his head, waiting to squash him at the right time.
…
Dama Country,
The country’s borders were now open to all, anybody who registered at the border could come in. There were even 40 entrance points now, which reduced the traffic and wait time at the gates, now, all one needed was 10 minutes to cross the border.
One of these people was Kakashi. He had taken Monari’s words seriously and hoped to meet Rin once again. His journey was pretty normal and fast, a lot of economic activities were going on everywhere. The Dama Country had started working on roads called Highways. These will be mostly straight, wide and even roads where carriages could run fast.
For the Shinobi, it wasn’t of much use, but for common people, it was a big deal. As it helped transport goods as well as people.
In all his life, he had never seen so much economic activity anywhere. And this was also shocking to him because to get this result, so many previous Hokages worked hard. Yet, Shiroken achieved it in less than 3 years.
“If he can make this miracle… Rin may also be alive.” He muttered and continued.
However, his path was not going to be easy and his entry to the village was going to be risky for his life.
…
Dama City,
“DONE!”
Shiroken finished sealing everyone in his own body. Effectively after, they had established a connection between them through which they could talk no matter how far away they were from one another.
“CAN I PLAY NOW?” Kuronosuke asked.
The cute goofball dragon was the favourite of all. He was loved by the entire city and many shop owners gave him treats every once in a while. He was also gentle-natured and had good etiquette.
Shiroken then headed to the palace. “I guess it’s time to put my mind ability to use now and wake up Rin.”
The infirmary was safe from the damage caused by Izumi and Itachi, as it was in a different part of the palace. There, guards stood outside all the time since the attack by the Zetsu of the last time.
He entered and found the girl lying on the bed with sheets covering her body. She had not grown much since her body was in the tree for safety for the most part. Still, she looked to be in her late teens.
He took a seat at the side of her bed and closed his eyes to establish a connection between their heads.
