Naruto: Child of Chakra - Chapter 147
Shiroken got down from Chomei’s head. The building in front of him was suspended, held in the air with the help of a strong metal frame connected to the surrounding mountains. The building looked more like a fortress, with a concrete part below and some greenery on the top.
“This must have cost a fortune to make. I can already see why some villages are poor while some are rich. The villages that are poor are all away from the main road leading to this place. The wealth of this country is concentrated here.” Shiroken deduced.
“And we’re going to distribute it around the country now,” Chomei proclaimed.
“Yes, let’s go in. I bet he has set up some sort of army to face us, hah.” Shiroken moved forward with no care. There was supposed to be a bridge connecting the mountain and the building, but they retracted it.
“Hah, we can fly.” Shiroken flew across the passage and lowered the bridge for the others. Chomei went back inside the seal as he missed talking to his siblings.
Bee and Yugito followed him behind. As expected, they were stopped by the Samurai forces, these were people who knew ninshu yet were not a part of the Shinobi villages.
“I am Shiroken Dama, the Supreme Daimyo of 5 Countries. Kumogakure has also surrendered to me, now only your Daimyo is left. If you don’t want to die for no reason then you must surrender. You do not have to die for a person not worth dying for.
“You can do one of two things. Use that bridge and leave this castle. Go back to your family and live a good life. Or, stay here and die, even if you are able to run away, you will be hunted by me. Make a choice.” He bluntly gave them an option.
All of these men were trained professionals, Shiroken wanted to minimise their deaths. And those who would eventually run away would be the ones with some possibility of rehabilitation.
Slowly, out of a hundred men, 30 left. Others remained strong in their iron armour. Shiroken sighed and started to walk towards them. Their existence was of no threat to him.
Every step he took the ground started shaking. *BOOM* One after another many deep pits started to appear on the ground, just below each of the samurai. They fell in and then the pit got filled, only leaving their head out so they could at least breathe.
“Come out, Daimyo.” He slammed open the castle’s door. The Daimyo was cowering in fear in someplace, hiding. But he couldn’t stay hidden as Shiroken saw everything inside this place.
He went straight to the basement. The Daimyo was hiding inside a septic tank, and man oh man, it was smelly. Shiroken refused to touch the man and instead used the wood release to take him out, then a water release to clean him off.
“Here I thought you would be some kind of a mighty strong-minded man. The last thing I expected from you was to hide in excretion. Well, this just showed me how much you value your life. Now follow me” Shiroken ordered him.
The Lightning Daimyo fell to his knees, his glasses were missing and his clothes were dripping wet, “Let me live… Lord Dama. I… I am ready to live like the Fire Daimyo, under your rule.”
*Sigh* “Well, Fire Daimyo is a simple-minded fool. He only wants to enjoy his life, eat and be happy. You, on the other hand, are a scheming little fox. The Raikage told me you signed a deal with the Earth Country’s Daimyo?” Shiroken said.
Lightning Daimyo clenched his teeth, “I… I was doing what anybody would in this situation.”
“Yet, it was the Raikage, the man I least expected to make peace without fighting, who came to me and asked for peace. You, who has no power, dared to think you can defeat me with your little scheming. Wishful thinking, but commendable.” In a scornful tone, Shiroken taunted.
“W-What happens to me now?… I can be of help… I will do as you say, even give you my authority. Just don’t kill me.” Daimyo pleaded.
Silently Shiroken thought about what to do with this man. He clearly had no place for any Daimyo. What he feared was a public reaction, but that was only a valid fear when it came to Kages since a Kage is well known and met by the villagers. Meanwhile, the Daimyo was a very secretive and high-level person who rarely met people. So it was easier to dispose of a Daimyo.
“Hmm… you will die. The freedom and peace of this world demands your blood. You made your money waging wars in the past, it’s time you got what you deserve. May your soul not rest in peace.” *SLASH*
Shiroken just waved his hand like a chop, an air-blade cut Daimyo’s throat in a way that only his windpipe broke down inside the throat. No wounds or blood appeared outside.
*THUD*
Lightning Daimyo fell down lifelessly. Shiroken didn’t waste a moment to dispose of the body by sending it underground with some plants. He turned around and saw Bee and Yugito’s shocked faces.
“What? Ah… you thought this man is a Daimyo so he would get treated differently? Hah, you’re wrong, I actually treat the men in power even worse. Because if a common man makes mistakes, only he suffers, when a powerful man makes a mistake, countless people suffer. And sadly, all of the Daimyos have their hand-painted in red. Well, there are a few exceptions, like the Noodle Country’s Daimyo. The man is too kind.
Come, let’s head out. My people will take care of everything here. We’re going to return to Konoha, pick someone from there and head to the Dama country.” He spoke as if nothing had happened. Bee and Yugito stayed back for a second, then ran behind him.
“Are you not called the Supreme Daimyo as well?” Bee asked, surprisingly not rapping anymore.
Shiroken nodded and answered, “Yes, but not for long. I use the term Supreme Daimyo because it’s easier to understand. After I’m done, I will only be called the Elder. That’s my official designation.”
Bee made a rap at that.
♫Oh yeah, you gonna be the world’s elder,
The broken society’s mightiest welder… YEAH♫
Shiroken walked out of the castle and asked for Chomei to come back. They then got on his head again and flew away. Meanwhile, the 10 Nidama clan members team took over the country’s administration.
…
1 hour ago, Inside the seal of Shiroken,
“My brothers, what do you think about Shiro’s new girlfriend?” Saiken asked, as all the tailed beasts were sitting in a circle.
“Well, I don’t care as long as she is good looking and can produce little Shiros for me to play with.” Son Goku had his priorities clear.
Kurama scoffed, “Fool, a mother has a lot of influence on the child. A child’s future is decided by the mother’s nature. So, it is very important what kind of person she is.”
“Agreed,” Gyuki nodded, “But we don’t even know what she looks like.”
Matatabi scoffed at this point, “All of you are crazy. Do you really want to say no to Shiro? Does it matter who she is as long as they like each other? If you want Shiro to be sad, then go on. It’s already so hard to get him to date someone and you’re here discussing conditions. Beggars can’t be Choosers.”
“HOW DARE YOU CALL SHIRO A BEGGAR!” Shukaku raged.
Matatabi scoffed, “Huh, I was calling you a beggar, not Shiro.”
Shukaku calmed down, “Ah, that’s fine then.”
Chomei chirped then in his rap language,
♫Yoooo, don’t worry my sis and bros,
I’m gonna keep Shiro far from all those hoes.♫
“Well, we’re going to Konoha anyway, so we’ll see her eventually. Just calm down now.” Kurama went back to take a nap.
…
Earth Country, Daimyo’s castle.
The Earth Daimyo was an old man, with a beard and dark circles under his eyes. He had an impatient attitude, along with a boastful personality where he saw himself and his fellow daimyos of the great shinobi nations as supreme and higher than those of the smaller nations.
He met with the Tsuchikage today to discuss the coming war and what action they should take. it was a luxurious feast they had planned for today, actually, this was how the Daimyo ate every single day.
The Earth Country was a mountainous country with no wealth, its condition was not much different than the Wind Country. Yet, the Daimyo lived in luxury.
Onoki shared the table and spoke, “We will soon be getting a reply from the Lightning Daimyo and the Raikage. Our next offensive move should be starting from somewhere in Ame. We must damage a bigger town this time inside the Fire Country.”
Daimyo nodded satisfyingly, “What about that tailed beast? Are you not going to use him?”
“Not yet, that’s our last option, and seeing what has been going on, we can’t trust the Jinchuriki completely right now. At best, we can make them start a rampage. This is why the cooperation between us and the Lightning country is so important.” Onoki explained.
“Good, I hope this war can quickly end and we can gain something from the rich lands of the Fire Country and the Dama country. But I fear, what if Lord Dama uses the tailed beasts?” Daimyo asked.
Onoki shook his head, “He won’t. I know his goal is to make people see them as something other than a beast. Foolish thinking, he wants us to stop calling a cow a cow. Due to this, he won’t use them in wars.”
“I hope you are right… Onoki. I really hope.” Daimyo muttered and drank.
*BOOM*
But suddenly the door opened and a frightened shinobi entered, “LORD DAIMYO, LORD TSUCHIKAGE! THE… LIGHTNING COUNTRY HAS FALLEN!”
