Naruto: Child of Chakra - Chapter 156
“My lord, your dear Chinchinmaru blesses you to impregnate that woman,” Tenken spoke after Shiroken’s date with Tsunade.
Shiroken scowled, “Shut up Tenken, never say that again if you don’t want to be smelted and turned into needles.”
Tenken, being crazy himself, didn’t take the warning seriously, “Aw, come one, my lord. I am your great sword, you won’t do that to me. You love me far too much. How about this, if you feel you are not experienced enough then why not go to the fun street?”
“That’s it, I am selling you.” Shiroken decided and put a seal to suppress Tenken’s voice. He then went to a travelling trader at the Dumpling shop and showed the sword, “How about this sword? Want to buy it?”
“Ah… Lord Dama, how can I be worthy of your sword? I’m sure I can not buy it with the small money I have.” The man said with a flustered and nervous face.
Shiroken shrugged and patted his shoulder, “Just give me that dumpling you were about to eat and we got a deal.”
Tenken was screaming at that time, only Shiroken could hear him, “NO MY LORD! Don’t sell me, I will be good, I swear. And what the hell, I’m worth much more than a dumpling… At least a million dumplings”
The man confused, looked at the dumpling on the plate, “This dumpling?”
Shiroken nodded, “Yes. Do you want this sword?”
The man silently pushed the plate towards Shiroken and took the sword. His eyes shined with hope for making a lot of money, ~I can sell this for so much money. Lord Dama’s own sword. Thank you, Saint Lucky Seven Chomei, praying at your shrine this morning gave me luck.~
With that, Shiroken took one dumpling and left without any care for the stupid sword.
…
At present,
“WHAT? You sold him? Hmm… he must have said something really stupid then.” Monari muttered, but also accepted his actions immediately.
At the same time, the crowd felt conflicted, they were just being told that the sword was a friend of Shiroken. But slowly they dispersed and went to do their work.
Jin asked him, “Do you know where he is?”
“Of course, I put a tracking marker on him. He’s in the Water country right now, a disguised clone of mine bought the sword. He’s going to use it to cut vegetables, making Tenken feel more pathetic and destroy his pride.” Shiroken revealed.
Jin and Monari felt worried for the mental health of Tenken, but at the same time felt that the sword deserved it. Anyway, they left the matter at that, as Shiroken had to go and call a meeting of all the beasts to tell them that he met the old man.
…
Water Country,
Shiroken, now cloned as a normal vegetable vendor in the Kirigakure, used Tenken to chop vegetables. He was a spy, whose job was to keep an eye on everything that happened in the village and the country. And the best place was the market, as all rumours went through here.
He could hear Tenken crying, but he ignored all that and acted as if he was a simple man. “SALE! SALE! SALE! I will cut vegetables for you, just buy them from me.”
His shop was facing good profits, as people were more interested in seeing him chop vegetables like a ninja. Anytime someone would buy vegetables and pay for them to get chopped as well, Shiroken would just throw them into the air and swing the sword. By the time they’d fallen into the bag he’d placed down, the vegetables would have been chopped.
“NOOOO… No more… I can’t take this humiliation. I am meant to cut throats, be drowned in the blood of enemies, not in pumpkin juice. PLEASE… THROW ME IN THE OCEAN!” Tenken cried.
Shiroken called a little kid, “Child, you want some carrots? They can improve your eyes, here, take them for free.”
Tenken scoffed, “Huh, LIES! It’s just selling tactics.”
The clone ignored him and went on to do his work.
…
Saiken’s Farm,
“My lovely family, something really crazy happened recently. I saw Hagoromo, your old man. Haha… I guess he’s like a grandpa to me if he’s like a father to you all.” He revealed.
“WHAT?! H… how? I thought he died.” Kurama exclaimed emotionally.
“Well… he said he found some strange ability to exist in between the world of the living and dead. He cannot cross worlds. His message for you was this, ‘I am proud of them, that even after facing so much hatred and hardships, they were able to love.’ And I think the same.” He told them about his meeting.
The 8 Bijuu felt emotional about this and stayed silent. The old man was proud of them, this meant a lot to them. Saiken, the always emotional one, snivelled, “He… The old man said that? I’m happy. I feared that we would fail his wishes of staying together and not hate others.”
Shiroken gave the huge blob a hug, “Nonsense, I think he can never hate you. And besides, I believe that you all proved him right and made him proud the moment you all took me in.
“Honestly, I don’t think I would have turned out to be like this if I was brought up by the humans. A man with good morals who sees things from the view of a third entity. If there is peace around the world today, you all contributed to it a lot.”
“Aww… thank you.” Chomei hugged him.
But then Shiroken remembered, “Oh, he also asked me to tell you all that the number of your tails does not mean you are older or younger. He said that you all were born at the same time.”
“WHAT? HOW CAN THIS BE?” Kurama was shocked.
…
1 Week Later,
Tsunade just completed her studies, she overstayed two days in the library, thankfully the place had a room with a bed for her to rest.
When she came out of the library, she felt like she was a totally new person. She had learnt so much about so many things, diseases and other terms. Concepts that no one could have thought of were written in the books.
Now, she wanted to go to the hospital and start working as soon as possible. Her mind was full of so many ideas that she wanted to try.
“So, how did your time go?” She asked Shiroken.
He chuckled, “A lot of things happened. I met the Sage of the Six paths. Went to Mount Myoboku. Opened a few more shops around the country. Built new bridges around many islands. What about you? Any new ideas or plans for a medical Jutsu?”
Her jaw dropped, “What do you mean you met the Sage of the Six Paths? How? He’s just a legend.”
“Hah, what’s a legend for you is a fact for me. Humans live just for a measly 100 years at most; how do you expect them to remember something that happened more than a thousand years in the past?” He said and continued, “The Sage is alive, though not in physical form. He’s in a world from where he can only see but not interact.”
“Then… are all the stories true? The one about him having a thousand wives also?” Tsunade inquired.
Shiroken frowned, “I never heard that rumour. Where did you get that?”
“Oh, grandma Mito used to tell me these stories. She said that Sage had to impregnate a thousand women to get many children who could use Ninjutsu. That’s how the Shinobi world started.” Tsunade reiterated what she heard in her childhood.
Shiroken fell into deep thinking, “Hmm… I guess I will ask him if I ever meet him again. But your story does make some sense.”
She nodded but also got disheartened, “Ugh… now that I compare my achievements to yours they sound insignificant. Nice job making your girlfriend feel worthless.”
He chuckled, “Nothing is big or small, Tsunade. Every big thing starts with a small idea.”
[A/N: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]
“BIG BROTHER SHIRO!” Haku suddenly came to him, dragging the boy in a wheelchair with him.
Shiroken lovingly patted his head, “What are you here for today?”
“I came here to help with the hospital. I thought my friend here must get very lonely with nobody close by. So, I give him walks around.” Haku delightfully replied. He was indeed a very good boy.
Just then Shiroken remembered to ask Tsunade about the boy, “Ah, Tsunade, do you know this kid? I found him a long time ago in a jungle, injured gravely. He is from Konoha, that I am sure ab… OH!”
He paused after seeing the shocked expressions on Tsunade’s face. One thing was clear, she certainly knew him… pretty well.
