Naruto: Yoshio Namikaze Of The Magnet Release - Chapter 27
(AN: My wrist is better now, so I can finally write again, though the recovery took a little longer than expected :D)
As the black and purple orb, which was unmistakably a tailed-beast bomb, moved incredibly fast towards the wall of Uzu, it quickly became apparent, that none of the seal masters stationed at the wall would be able to create a seal to counter it in time, since seals powerful enough to stop the tailed-beast bomb, were to advanced to be created instantly at their level, thus requiring them to write them using ink and brush. As such, the morale of the troops was dwindling at a fast pace.
Even though they would not be able to make it in time, many of the seal masters present had started writing the seals as fast as they could, betting everything, that at least one of them would be able to make it in time, but it was all for naught… With the tailed-beast bomb approaching, even Sakumo and Daiki were panicking, but just before the inevitable impact, Yoshio managed to hear the voice of an old man, moving at speeds which should have been impossible given his age, flew right past him up the stairs of the wall.
“I’ve got this”
The old man ran across the wall and jumped off, taking out a large scroll from his belt and unfolding it in the air! With the now unrolled scroll swaying in the air, the old man amazingly let go of the scroll, forming some quick hand signs before slamming his right hand into the middle of the scroll.
“Space-time seal: void!!”
For the troops on the wall, this was all they needed to recognize who the old man was, and even though they were unable to do anything to help him out, they couldn’t help to scream out his name when the tailed-beast bomb impacted him, creating a massive explosion of smoke.
“Sukiru-sama!!!”
Not long after the impact, a body could be seen flying out of the smoke, moving towards the side of the wall, carrying an unfolded scroll in his hand which had obvious seal markings on it. Luckily though, before he could make contact with the wall, another figure, who had previously jumped down the wall, could be seen catching him in his arms.
“Father, are you okay? You are way to reckless, no matter how powerful you were in the past, you should know that your body isn’t strong enough to be in the field!”
“Daiki, my son, you know as well as I do, that no one else could have warded of that tailed-beast bomb in time, and even if *cough* even if it will cost me, I won’t let anyone destroy my home!”
While the seal masters rushed to activate the seal, Daiki instead rushed towards the nearest medic, hoping they would be able to stabilize Sukiru before it was too late. Although only exhaustion was seen on the outside, Daiki knew his father had suffered severe internal injuries. Seeing his father carrying his injured grandfather, Kazu quickly made his way towards them seeing if there was anything he could help with.
“Kazu, your grandfather is injured, I need to get him some help, so you have to take command of our forces! Don’t ask any questions, do you understand what you have to do?”
“Yes father, I will follow your orders”
Right after Kazu finished his sentence, the tsunami struck the wall, creating a huge boom, and making all of Uzu shake, while water was shoot into the air outside the wall, due to the impact. Despite taking on a tsunami, with the help of the protective seals, the wall was able to hold, successfully stopping the breaching attempt. This, of course, caused the morale in the Uzu troops to shoot way up, making them scream out in relief…
Unfortunately, the invasion was not over yet, and just when shinobi of Uzu though the wall had succeeded in protecting the village, and making sure the attackers couldn’t get in, a loud boom was heard a little ways out from their position. From his position Yoshio was able to, out of the corner of his field of vision, see a part of the wall suddenly burst inward, throwing rubble everywhere and creating a giant dust cloud around the area.
Focusing his gaze towards the affected area, Yoshio was quickly able to conclude what had happened, wen he noticed a single dark-skinned arm poking out of the wall, covered in lightning. Before he was able to react to this however, another boom was heard from behind him, where a circular cone of white was seen bursting out of the wall and shooting into the air.
‘This… It has to be the third raikage; A and the third tsuchikage Onoki, but when did they get close enough, the sensors should have… I see, they used the tailed-beast bomb to not only visually distract us, but the chakra radiating of it, combined with the a possibly chakra infused tsunami, would create a spike in chakra levels, which would render any and all sensing obsolete, by overloading the area! No wonder they were able to get close enough to breach the wall’
Not soon after the two holes were created, troops of shinobi from Kumo and Iwa rushed within the wall, following their respective kage, which triggered a response in the form of Kazu’s commanding shout.
“ATTENTION ALL TROOPS, THE WALL HAS BEEN BREACHED, GET DOWN THERE AND DEFEND THE VILLAGE!”
Reaching a midpoint, the two troops on the Iwa side mingled into each other, and Yoshino soon found himself in the middle of the battlefield, but before he could even release his dust, he was hit by a kick in the side of his torso, sending him flying across and out of the battlefield, where he smashed onto the ground, causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood. Despite having only survived the kick, which was obviously from a jonin level shinobi, due to the absorption seals on his outfit, he forced himself to lift his head towards the battlefield ones more.
‘This, this fight is way above my level, my eyes can’t even keep up with most of the action. The situation is bad, even though the Uzu shinobi are outclassing the invaders, they are being overwhelmed with numbers and we are losing people quickly, this is not what was supposed to happen…’
“Damn it, I was going to change the fate of Uzu, all my hard work will it really change nothing in the end, is Uzu really fated to fall, I don’t believe it”
Smashing his fists in the ground, he could feel the wet tears running down his cheeks, but what accompanied it was not a wail of hopelessness, but instead a burning pain in his eyeballs, which caused him to squirm on the ground in pain.
‘Why, why do my eyes hurt so much… I, I can’t do anything to help in this situation, but the pain is too much, what is happening with my eyes, don’t tell me…’
At long last, having lived eight years in the Naruto world, Yoshio was finally able to enjoy his second reincarnation gift… As such, he, despite the pain, used pure willpower to force his hands to form the hand signs he had practiced so often to no prevail…
“BYAKUGAN!!!”
