Necromancer: Divine-Level Summoning - Chapter 25
Sivir didn’t hesitate. She hurried out of the office and headed for Azula’s dormitory.
On the way over to the dormitories, Sivir went to meet with Azula.
They always met each other to talk, so Sivir knew very well that Azula would be in the dormitory at this time.
Soon, Sivir arrived at Azula’s room.
After knocking a few times, Azula opened the door and ushered Sivir inside.
Sivir didn’t beat around the bush after finding a seat.
“Do you have a student named Keaton?”
Azuro nods. “Yeah, I have a student named Keaton.”
After saying this, Azula put on a look of gritting her teeth. It seemed like she really wanted to tear Keaton into pieces.
‘You’re still putting on an act for me. You think I don’t know what happened?’
Sivir was fuming with rage upon seeing Azula’s exasperated expression.
Sivir and Asuro had a very good relationship. Although their statuses were different, they were best friends in private.
“That student of yours shouldn’t be trash, right? Why are you so angry?”
Sivir looked coldly at Asuro and thought, ‘I’ll see how long you can keep this up for me.’
“Sigh, if he were truly trash, I wouldn’t be this angry.”
However, Sivir was stunned on hearing Azula’s next words.
What kind of words are those? Why is it different from what I imagined?
Before Sivir could ask a question, Azula continued to explain.
“In the past, I also thought he was a useless student with very low magic power.”
“Didn’t I argue with you over this? I asked you to help me find another student.”
Speaking up to this point, Azula slapped her thigh and gritted her teeth.
“But how would I know that this kid was faking it the whole time?”
Eh? Pretending? What does that mean?
Sivir didn’t ask any more questions. She just watched Azula quietly, waiting for her next explanation.
“Today, I heard that he used five summons in the arena and defeated eight second-year students.”
“I was very curious back then. Where did this person get such a strong ability?”
“So I went to his dormitory to look for him. I wanted to ask him where he learned this secret skill and whether he could give it to our school. The school would reward him.”
“But before I could even ask, this kid struck me with a bolt from the blue.”
Azula explained in detail what had happened in Keaton’s dorm.
Sivir stared blankly at her after she finished her recount.
It took over 10 seconds before Sivir snapped out from her reverie.
“Does he have to do this just to be famous?”
Azula didn’t bother to reply. She knew that Sivir wasn’t asking her.
It was after another long period of silence that Sivir finally spoke her second sentence.
“I want to meet this student. Can you call him out sometime?”
“Tomorrow. I’ll find a time tomorrow to call him over.”
…
On the second day when Keaton woke up, he only felt extremely comfortable and his focus had reached its peak.
Although he had been reviewing his battle late into the night yesterday, under the influence of the 900 mana points that the system had given him, not only did his spirit not wither, but it instead grew stronger.
After washing up and opening the door, just as Keaton was about to go train, a student came to inform him that Teacher Azula was waiting for him.
Hmm! She actually wants to look for me?
Did I expose anything?
Well, let’s not think too much. I’ll deal with whatever comes my way.
Having made up his mind, Keaton didn’t tarry further. He arrived at the faculty office building and stopped in front of Azula’s office.
Dong dong dong!
“Teacher Azula, you were looking for me?”
“Come in directly, it’s nothing much.”
Keaton nodded and pushed open the door into Azula’s office.
Just when he walked into Asuro’s office, he found that there was another person in the office besides Azula.
“You’re Keaton?”
Before Azula could ask, the woman sitting next to her spoke first.
“Hello, teacher. Yes, I’m Keaton.”
Although he couldn’t figure out the woman’s background, Keaton still answered her question calmly.
“Did you cause the huge commotion when school started?”
Damn!
Did Azula tell this woman the reason that I made up?
Keaton reacted very quickly, and he quickly understood the situation.
“Teacher, if you’re talking about the person who summoned the two Black Warriors, it should be me.”
Should be me.
Sivir stared blankly at Kedan, thinking that this person was very similar to Azula’s description.
He clearly wanted to show off, but he still maintained a confused expression as though wondering how he got exposed!
“Oh, you’re very honest!”
Sivir smiled, but didn’t reveal everything she knew.
But Azula, who was sitting beside her, could not take it any longer.
“Keaton, we asked you here today to understand something from you.”
“Was the freshman who defeated nine second-year students on the dueling platform yesterday you?”
“Don’t lie. It’s very rare to have Summoners in this school.”
“There are even fewer who can summon Black Warriors.”
As she spoke, Azula gave Keaton a look.
Keaton immediately recognized the meaning in Azula’s eyes.
He nodded gently and openly admitted the matter.
“Yes, teachers, I’m that student.”
After speaking, Keaton recounted what he told Azula yesterday.
Sivir, who was sitting beside Azula, was stunned.
Hearing it from other people was not comparable to hearing it from the person involved himself.
While Sivir was still in shock, Azula directed a question to her.
“Director, this kid is pretty good. Why don’t we give him the task?”
Task?
Whut?
Keaton stared blankly at Azula, but at that moment, a familiar voice sounded in his mind.
[Ding! Detected that Host….]
