Necromancer Supreme System - Chapter 114
“So this is the stele of this village?” she muttered to herself, while moving towards the stele. She simply touched the stele with her hand while the next moment the stele shone, the whole village shone, as a veil of bright light surrounded the village, while changing everything inside into brand new buildings.
The whole village changed, strangely growing in size, buildings became much bigger, more taller, with double, triple, and more folds in size growth than previous version rudimentary shacks!
Oya was still inside while feeling so warm, as a connection was established between her and the stele of this city.
The village turned into a city, a smaller one in comparison to Shonty, but when she went outside of the central building she got a pleasant shock!
The whole village was now a brand new city, with many buildings and wide clean streets, surrounded by tall walls, towering gates, and many defensive towers.
She walked inside her new city, while feeling proud and happy. she suddenly recalled the large numbers of the villages in this world, and the scene of all these grand cities made her giggle.
Instantly her skeletons entered the city and filled it, turning it into a brand new city full of dead skeletons, in an ironic way.
“Sigh, I need to talk with Ruliv then, these cities must be filled with players soon, or else they would be pointless to free them then,” she muttered while glancing at everything around her.
What Oya did to the village was easily spotted from far. Despite the presence of many skeletons fighting off the monsters at the portal area, the city governors couldn’t bypass the region like Oya did.
So they waited at their location, watching what she was going to do. And in a mere second, the distant tiny insignificant village appearing like a small black dot in the horizon changed dramatically, turning into a large city, not as theirs but so close to be like them.
They exchanged silent glances, as they long heard stories about the first crusades done against the monsters in ancient times. These crusades rarely yielded victory, but in comparison with current losing battles, they were much better. They heard stories about how much a village would change the moment it turned into a city, liberated from the clutches of the monsters.
And today, on this historical day, they had the chance and privilege to see it first handed.
And the next question popped in their heads at once, all together, asking about who Oya would choose to make him or her a city governor? Such an exclusive impossible to obtain title was now available, not once but more than that.
They saw how Oya fought and conquered this village, and they knew the size of her army would only continue to grow exponentially from this moment onward, making the dream of completely liberating the world off the monsters becoming this close to be achieved.
And amidst their thoughts, they noticed the huge white army of skeletons moving towards the next target while Oya was coming directly towards them, on the back of her phoenix made entirely out of bones.
Oya took roughly half an hour to reach their place, and she didn’t need to look fast about them, as they were very distinctive, being the only color away from the white ocean covering this place.
“Congratulations city governor Oya on liberating the village and killing the monsters.”
“Congratulations city governor Oya.”
“City governor Oya is really mighty!”
Many of these comments came from everyone, and Oya was speechless to find them calling her the city governor.
“Thanks, I appreciate your support, however I didn’t want to be the city governor,” she then turned to Ruliv as she added, “may I trouble you with ruling over the city and select a suitable capable governor for it? also select those who will be governors on the next villages to be liberated.”
The joy of Ruliv was really limitless, but he tried his best to hide it, so he didn’t turn everyone against him. It was his lucky moment when he met Ibro, as everything related to this young player came with a great benefit for him and his city. “Sure, tell me how many do you plan to liberate,” he said, as he didn’t know how many she planned to free this time.
“I will free them all!” she said, before glancing at the other city governors, “you also are welcomed to speak with Ruliv and select those suitable to lead the cities. The position isn’t that easily acquired, and it has great responsibilities, so please choose carefully.”
Her words saved Ruliv from any future trouble or embarrassment, despite her not intending to directly help him. “Don’t you want any help?” Ruliv suddenly asked, “we can amass a huge army to conquer the villages with you,” he added while glancing over his fellow governors, and all of them nodded in unison.
“Sorry, you will only stand on the way,” she directly and blatantly said, before adding, “but I will need your help regarding something far more important than that.”
“More important than the villages?” one of the governors asked in confusion.
“Sure, I heard there is a large abyss just near Apidon city. I want you to gather all your men, and be ready for any notice from me.”
“For what purpose?” Ruliv stressfully asked, despite his mind already provided him with the shocking answer. “For liberating the abyss of course,” Oya simply replied, before patting over her ride’s head, and the phoenix started to fly away, “Sorry I wanted to stay more but my time is tight. Be ready and gather everyone, this dark abyss fight is going to be more brutal and challenging than this.”
She then headed back to catch up to her army, while flying a couple of circles around the cluster of portals here, checking up on things. Her liches and death knights were doing such a great job, summoning more skeletons than they were losing, making her feel quite satisfied with them.
She then headed towards the distance, while returning to summon skeletons along the way. Her next target was a nearby village that needed a couple of hours to reach.
Couple of hours walk distance in this world was considered a small distance, represented in the map by a less than half centimeter distance, making the outer region be like small dots gathered together in a huge circle surrounding this world.
As she moved near the next village with her army, she found that her enemy had summoned their armies, prepared a larger number of portals, and were waiting for her to come. “So you increased the number of portals, interesting,” she muttered before giving the order to her skeletons:
“Go and kill them all, leave none alive!”
The fight started very intense at the beginning. Oya’s army was initially large, with many liches and death knights already in her ranks. However she didn’t hurry to leave and liberate the nearby village, as she didn’t want to be stressed like this ever again.
So she waited, summoned endless skeletons, liches and death knights, while she focused mainly on summoning the largest numbers, throwing them in batches in the battlefield, until gradually things started to shift her own way.
She didn’t hurry to leave and started separating the army into three parts. After roughly six more hours, she had three large armies ready, plus the one she already left to fight with the portals here.
“The second leveling monster grounds are finished,” she sneered happily while giving the order to her armies to go, each in a separate way.
She sent two to the far two targets next, as she led the third army towards the village to kill every single monster inside and liberate it.
The fight didn’t last more than one hour, and the village was added under her control, simply like that!
“A second village is down,” she sneered happily as she left the newly formed city and headed to the next one.
As she had three armies now, she wasn’t pressured by anything, while she kept summoning more skeletons along the way to the next villages. Her skeletons reached the count of ten huge armies when she liberated the twentieth village, with eight more waiting for her to come and liberate as well.
“Sigh, it turned from a brutal impossible fight into this race against time marathon!” she murmured with a soft chuckle, marveling how strong her class was.
She wasn’t the only one commenting like this, as all the city governors who were following her now were speechless beyond imagination, asking themselves the same question.
She kept pushing forward in all directions, while at the same time she was followed from far by the city governors who decided to keep following this legendary moment and movement and see its end.
Things kept moving smoothly for her for two days. during which she managed to summon over fifty armies and liberated hundreds of villages.
