Necromancer Supreme System - Chapter 62
“You? Helping me? are you in your sane self or you have some suicidal wish?” the NPC asked, sarcastically.
“If you want to know everything, and I strongly advise you to, then please use your shielding skill, and let’s talk away from the real stalker eyes.”
“Really? Are there more other than you?” the grand magician asked, while watching Oya in amusement.
“Sure, those who planted something and are watching you now,” Oya replied, and her simple words made the face of this grand magician lady change.
The NPC stopped, turned around and faced Oya inside a dirty alley, where no one was there.
“You know for a player you have some guts following me around like this,” she said, with an aggressive tone.
“I just want to offer a service to you,” Oya suddenly said, vaguely, with a confident tone, without any signs of hesitation or fear.
“You? Helping me? are you in your sane self or you have some suicidal wish?” the NPC asked, sarcastically.
The grand magician just glanced deeply, and silently towards Oya. She didn’t know if the player in front of her really knew about what she spoke of, or not.
“Do you know speaking about random things without knowing anything about them might cause your death?” the grand magician said, as she refused to believe a mere player would be aware of the demon seeds inside her body and the bodies of others.
“I know, and if I don’t know if well, I would have spoken to you openly about everything. Let’s just start with the protective shield, and let’s speak in detail inside,” Oya replied, while her face showed that confident smile, as she was speaking out of conviction in Ibro and in her system.
“How do you know I have such a shield?” the grand magician asked, and Oya just couldn’t tell her about the system’s existence, or even explain to her that vague concept even to her.
What would she tell her? She had a voice speaking in her mind telling her things and issuing her quests?
“If you want to waste my time then I will go ahead and look for others,” Oya said, bluffing this out of patience, before she turned to leave. “Wait!” the grand magician finally spoke, stopping her before she really left.
In the next moment, a huge dome appeared surrounding the two of them. the moment that happened, Oya was about to speak, when her system interfered, stopping her before saying anything:
‘There is another shield missing, tell her to use her deflective shield skill.’
Oya’s eyes widened for a moment, before she calmly looked at the grand magician, who just said:
“Now you can say whatever you want, you are safe here.”
“Really?” Oya just replied this one word, while she turned to leave. The eyes of the grand magician widened, and her eyebrows were elevated, before she added the last layer of the shield.
“How do you know my skill was missing a part?” the grand magician asked Oya, who just took a deep breath, while marveling the beauty of having a system.
“Nothing, let’s not waste anymore time, please,” Oya turned to face her, while saying this. “Now, I can kill the seed inside your soul, freeing you from your pain, what do you think of that?” she added, while looking at the grand magician, waiting for her reply.
“Do you know what you are talking about?” the grand magician said, with her face finally showing a desperate reaction, “I and others have tried many times to remove the seeds, but in the end we couldn’t!” she added, while she shook her head, “it’s too risky, if you tried and failed, you will die!”
Oya’s face was surprised, for a moment, before her system spoke up again:
‘Don’t worry, Ibro always does this, killing all the inner demons inside endless NPCs.’
‘But I’m not him,’ she silently sighed, helplessly replied to the system, admitting the grand difference between her and Ibro.
‘Sure, that’s why you will need this NPC help to kill the demon,’ the system said.
‘Ask her for help? Shouldn’t I be the one helping her?’ she asked, flabbergasted by the system’s shamefulness.
‘Don’t worry, just ask her to kill the demon which you will separate from her body,’ the system said, as it started explaining to Oya the concept of this process.
Oya understood, roughly, what was going to happen, and once the system finished, she said to the grand magician:
“Don’t worry about me, but I might need your help,” she intentionally paused, as she added, “as my own strength isn’t enough to completely kill the demon inside you,” she added, while watching the grand magician reaction.
“Well, this is a good start,” the grand magician replied, before adding when noticing the strange reaction of Oya, “if you claimed you can kill it with your own powers, I would have thought you a scoundler.”
Oya just smiled, as she didn’t know if this was good or bad news. She understood from the system words that Ibro could do this on a large scale, without needing any help from anyone.
She wanted to be like him, but she already knew the huge gap between the two of them.
‘Patience,’ the system suddenly kicked in, ‘just wait for your turn,’ it added, trying to calm her anxiety.
“So, will you help me kill it?” Oya asked, as without the grand magician’s help, she couldn’t kill the demon alone.
“Sure, but I need to tell you that if your method failed, I won’t try to interfere and save your life,” the grand magician said.
“Don’t worry,” Oya said, as she started moving towards her, “I don’t need any sort of saving,” she added, before she pointed to the ground, “can you sit on your knees, please?”
“Is it all?” the grand magician asked, as she doubtedly thought this was everything to it.
“Yes, just sit and I will do the rest,” Oya said, before adding, “when I ask you to attack, use your deadliest skills over the demon without hesitation,” she added, as she understood how dangerous the moments after the demon was freed from the body of the NPC, were.
The technique was simple, she just would use the system’s powers to cut the link between the demon seed and the soul of the NPC, plus the system would move the seed out, to take the form of the demon.
This moment was very risky, as the newly born demon would be acting by instinct, looking for a body to invade. From what she understood from the system words, these demons were like parasites, infesting human bodies to live, and die if they stayed outside the living bodies.
The moment the grand magician sat on her knees, Oya put the palm of her hand over her head, and then she felt a strange power moving from her into the grand magician.
As she knew from the system, she was currently weak, and so was her system. But after some demons’ hunt, both would grow stronger enough for the system to directly handle the demon seeds on its own.
Oya wanted to be able to kill demons on her own power, not using anyone else’s help. So, she was trying to learn about everything happening, while waiting for the demon to show up.
The seconds passed slowly, but finally the body of the magician had a faint tremble, and a long thick black fog appeared on top of her head. The moment that happened, Oya knew her system succeeded.
‘Make her attack, now!’ the system hurriedly said, and Oya didn’t delay as she shouted:
“Attack, now!”
The grand magician opened her eyes, and a staff appeared in her hand suddenly, while she muttered:
“Spear of lightning!”
Suddenly a huge spear appeared out of nowhere, just above that black fog, to fall over it, shattering it into small pieces before they all vanished, simply like that.
The eyes of the grand magician widened, as she doubtedly thought that was all. She turned to look at Oya, who was feeling a strange thing at this moment.
The fog that got shattered wasn’t shattered alone by the grand magician skill, but it was absorbed into her system, as it was a food for the system. The feeling of this absorption, followed by the feeling of energy entering her body was weird.
She felt she had this feeling a long time ago, but she didn’t know where or when.
“Are you ok?” the grand magician asked, feeling the change in Oya’s face.
