Necromancer Supreme System - Chapter 64
“Sure,” Oya replied, before she watched Ela disappear in front of her eyes. ‘Wow, it’s instant teleportation,’ she muttered to herself in admiration. No matter what Ela said, Oya always thought of her as a very strong NPC master that she admired.
Suddenly she was reminded of her master, the blacksmith master who taught her how to craft. She knew if she left now, she wouldn’t be able to reach her, and come back here in time.
So, she decided to postpone this until a later time.
As she was waiting for the return of Ela, Salsola sent her a message, asking about her whereabouts now, checking on her, and telling her that the players she contacted were about to arrive.
‘I will be in the city centre in an hour,’ she replied like this, giving herself enough time to finish helping Ela’s friends.
However, she had underestimated the help Ela just spoke of!
From far, she could see a large number of NPCs, numbering in hundreds, coming directly towards her. She hid herself in the small alley she was standing at, using the darkness of the night to cloud her own presence, however she heard Ela’s voice coming from the front, talking to her:
“Player Oya, can you come out please.”
Oya recognized the voice of Ela, and so she moved, with hesitation towards her, getting out from her hidden place.
The number of NPCs was really in hundreds! She just glanced at them, feeling somehow startled by all these NPCs. Just as she was looking at them, they were also looking at her, and one NPC recognized Oya, as she jokingly said:
“Do you mean my disciple? Are you sure?”
Oya recognized the tone and voice of her master at once, and she hurriedly looked towards the direction it came from. She found her master standing in the group of these NPCs, to the left of Ela.
“Sure, I’m pretty sure,” Ela said, before adding, “I will use my skill now, and any of you who want to use his skills, feel free to do it.”
At once, many NPCs started to use their shielding skills, clouding this place from the outside. Oya felt more secured this way, and so did they.
Once the shields were activated, they all looked at Ela in question, while she smiled widely as she pointed to Oya and said:
“She has already killed my demon seed.”
The words she said were met by complete silence, strange glances, before Oya’s master asked her, trying to make sure she heard it right:
“Did you just speak about the demon seeds?”
“Yes.”
“And my disciple killed it?”
“Yes.”
“Are you sure?”
“Come and sense me to make sure.”
Ela waved not only to Oya’s master, but also to everyone else here. some of them moved, including the blacksmith master, and they all put their hands over Ela’s head, and in return their face changed, showing extreme shock and surprise from what they felt.
“You inner seed…” one of the NPCs muttered in shock.
“I know, isn’t it marvelous?” Ela asked, with a bright smile over her face.
“So, you aren’t only a mysterious blacksmith, but you also have unique abilities as well,” Oya’s master spoke to her, as she went to stand beside Oya.
The forging design she took from Oya made her know there was a whole different world she never knew of, and her disciple knew about.
Oya just smiled with shyness, as she was speaking with her master like they were already close friends.
“Never know you might befriend anyone of your disciples,” Ela smirked, as she was teasing her, “now let’s just start freeing you as well,” she added, while others were shocked more when they heard her words.
They thought they had come to ask Oya to free them, and take the list of things needed from Oya to do so. Their number was already huge, and no one had ever killed a demon seed before.
“Just don’t stand like that, hurry up and get in line, and watch the marvels by your eyes!” Ela shouted at them, very excited, with a happy tone. She was free, and now she was about to make all of her friends free.
“Are you ready?” Oya’s master asked her, and she just nodded in agreement. “Alright boys and girls, you heard the lady, line up, c’mon, line up, and I will go first,” she suddenly started to join Ela in shouting on everyone else.
“How does this work?” one of the NPCs asked.
“Just stand and watch, and don’t talk much,” Eli said, as she shouted at her friend.
Oya just watched them, silently, from the sides. she thought this might take one hour, but now it would take much more.
‘Ask them all to come and put their hands on you in groups.’
Her system suddenly appeared again, as it asked her to do something unexpected.
‘Can you kill all of them in one go?’ she was perplexed, as she didn’t think her system could do it.
‘It’s not possible for you now to do it, but you have to do it,’ the system said, with a vague reply, without any more explanation.
‘What do you mean even by that?’ she asked, as she didn’t know what her system would ask her to do something this crazy.
‘Because the moment one monster seed is taken out, all the rest will go berserk. All these NPCs will die if you don’t do what I just said.”
She looked at those NPCs, with their aspiring faces and expectations. She knew they were now dreaming for the day to be free, which was, strangely, close at hand more than they ever expected.
‘alright, how can we do it then?’ she asked, as she didn’t think the system would throw her into such a mess without a plan.
‘Ask them to use all their skills to kill the demons with you. I will interfere and make these demons vulnerable, but not for too long. So they need to be ready, they need to be fast, and they don’t need to hesitate.’
Oya then looked at the NPCs, as she started addressing them for the first time ever.
“Listen up everyone,” she attracted their attention at once as she added, “As your numbers are big, we will have to do it in one go.”
“One go? what do you mean by that?” one of the NPCs asked, a swordsman.
“I mean you all have to put your hands over me at the same time.”
“Why would you go to this length? Can’t we take it step by step?” Ela asked, as she didn’t think Oya would be this reckless.
“It’s better this way,” Oya muttered, before looking at her with determination, “it’s the only way to do it,” she then turned to look at everyone else, as she added, “I need everyone of you to prepare his or her most strongest and fiercest attacking skill. when the demons are released, you are needed to strike them at once.”
“We tried that before, but ended up being killed!” one of the NPCs said.
“It’s different this time,” Ela said, as she knew this NPC was the oldest of them, the one who had his world destroyed in the early beginning of the invasion of monsters here.
“Why should I risk doing something I know it won’t get any results?” he was kind of stubborn, and Ela didn’t know how to speak to him, or convince him.
“Because I was part of the team that killed Jognak!” Oya suddenly spoke up, as she knew Ela couldn’t convince this NPC.
If it was only one person, she wouldn’t care, but if it was such an influential person, then she had to silence him, at least.
“You killed… what?” the NPC looked at her before laughing wildly, like hearing a very silly joke, “Kid, do you even know who you are speaking about?”
“I know,” Oya replied, firmly replied, before adding, “I killed it with my friend, and even turned its huge skull into a huge mine of ours,” she added, with much pride and confidence in her words that made that NPC stop for a moment and consider her words for real.
“Do you have a proof?” he said, with doubt and even some sarcasm in his tone.
“After we finish here, I will show you,” Oya said, as she tried to wrap things here.
“No, I won’t join this madness, and now I warn you all, don’t take part in this girl’s fantasy, as this won’t be reality. If you do, you will all die!”
Suddenly Oya started to sense a tense of hostility coming from this man. Oya just looked at him and didn’t know why he was doing that. if others followed him, then they would lose a chance to be freed.
But this wasn’t all, as Oya noticed he was standing, firmly inside the shield, not moving an inch away from it.
“Can you control the skill to move away from him?” Oya asked Ela, in a whisper, as she didn’t like what this NPC was doing.
