The level difference between the two sides was massive enough to make their damages cause these insignificant numbers and many misses! They glanced at each other, wryly watching the monsters roar as they started to head here.
“Oya save us!” Salsola shouted at her, asking for her to help. She knew Oya had a legion of skeletons, and using that legion seemed to be the right way to save them.
However Oya did nothing, as her army of NPCs acted. A barrage of skills fell upon the group of fifty monsters. Causing massive devastation at them in mere moments.

“30000”
“60000”
“40000”
“69000”
Huge amounts of damage started to go up one after another, causing the frightened players to feel speechless, then secured.
They totally forgot the presence of the NPCs army with their side, and that army made the battle look so easy and comfortable that they couldn’t believe their eyes.
Once the monsters fell on the ground after this barrage of brutal attacks, each one of them gained a massive amount of Xp, with many rising five levels. Oya’s level was already higher, but she managed to get two levels and was so close to level up to the next level.
“Grand feast for me,” she chuckled as she used her staff over the first monster corpse as she muttered:
“Death arises!”
Her skill turned this corpse into a pile of bone, as a skeleton of level forty five appeared suddenly in the place. Her actions caused quite a stir in the players and NPCs, who recognized what she was doing, ascertaining their previous assumptions of what they heard players called Oya with.
She was a necromancer!
The faces of these NPCs showed their great shock, not less than the one Ela and Oya’s master had from before. Oya just giggled as she continued to use her skill, until she had fifty new skeletons, ready to help in battle.
“Are you a necromancer?” one of the NPCs finally got the courage, and overcame his shock as he asked Oya.
“Yup, I’m,” Oya simply replied before adding, “let’s continue.”
This time, she sent her own skeletons up front, as they started attacking other monsters, without any hesitation. Every time they killed a monster, one of them got leveled up a rank, and despite she lost nearly half of them in the first attack, she managed to upgrade the rest, plus she had acquired one hundred monster corpses, which she used to summon more skeletons to help!
Suddenly the fighting process started to gain a growing momentum, making their advancing into the ridge more easier and faster, and their leveling speed more monstrous. They gained two to three levels with each wave of attacks, and sometimes they gained four levels even, when the number of monsters killed exceeded a hundred!
In mere six hours, their levels had greatly transformed from tenth into thirtieth, plus Oya’s army of skeletons had swell to reach a terrifying one thousand skeletons, all were already upgraded ones.
“Good job, you can select fifty skeletons to transform them into higher ranked skeletons.”
Suddenly the system spoke to her, giving her the option to upgrade this huge lot of skeletons at once. she smiled, and realized the higher level monsters she killed, the more energy her system would gain, and thus she would reap more benefits.
‘I just hope you don’t take a long time in upgrading them,’ she muttered as she started to select the fifty skeletons. She chose those with huge bodies, strong offenses and higher levels among her army.
Throughout these hours, everyone here was glancing silently at her, feeling how dreadful she was. The more she advanced, the more monsters she would be able to kill, making this terrifying ridge a picnic walk for them, like they were killing low leveled monsters, bullying them!
One thousand skeletons wasn’t a small number at all, and at some point, Oya summoned her previous army, giving them the opportunity to evolve faster. Her only regret was regarding the bony dragon, as she didn’t obtain her desired one yet.
‘Don’t worry, the energy I have is enough to make them all transform in no time,’ the system replied, while transforming the fifty skeletons in a blink of an eye, making their bones thicker, obtain more weapons, made out of bones, and had strong looking armors over their bodies.
This sudden change startled everyone, as they never thought summoned skeletons could acquire such a huge boost in strength in mere moments!
“Let’s go to the next area,” Oya said, with an embarrassed smile over her face, as they already cleared this area from monsters.
The next area was a mile far from them, with a great gap in the ground between their location and the next area. There was a huge bridge nearby, and when they reached there, they found a huge number of monsters waiting for them at the bridge.
“Time to put you all to test,” she muttered as she pointed to the monsters and ordered: “Go and kill them all.”
All the skeletons roared, and at once one thousand skeletons moved in a huge momentum towards these few hundreds of monsters. The scene was scary to others, making their hair stand to no end, as they realized how scary Oya was.
“It seems you don’t need out help anymore,” Ela embarrassedly remarked, as she and her friends didnt get the chance to partake in the battles for quite some time now.
Oya looked at her with her wide smile as she pointed to the other end of the bridge while saying:
“The monsters there are ten levels higher than my skeletons, so I will trouble you again to deal with them.”
She just tried to be polite, but the NPCs here felt how awkward it was for them. they were supposed to be the main force, not the supporting one until her skeletons caught up with the monsters there!
“Alright,” Ela helplessly shook her head, “just get rid of those monsters up ahead, then we can help you with those on the other end.
Oya just nodded, as she didn’t have anything to do while her skeletons were wreaking havoc everywhere. Her friends had already gotten used to her brutal style to fighting, and they couldn’t do anything to help, even with their higher levels than before.
However that didn’t prevent them from harassing these monsters with the skeletons acting as their shields. After one hour, all the monsters gathered at the bridge were cleared, and they could now cross the bridge easily, except for Oya being busy summoning more skeletons to her army, growing it to become doubled after this fight alone!
“I’m ready, let’s go,” she said, while she smiled a silly one in response to their glaring eyes, “What?!” she asked.
“Nothing,” her master just sighed, shaking her head, helplessly, as this girl was going to grow fast, faster than she even imagined.
“It must be a necromancer advantage,” Ela just patted on her master’s shoulder while saying that. everyone around them, including her friends, all nodded in agreement, silently joining Ela in her opinion.
“I always wondered why such a class never was in the game before, and now I knew why! It makes playing not fun at all! A necromancer can crush any world, provided he or she is given enough time to prepare!” her master just said these words, while shaking her head, as they started walking on the bridge.
The moment they reached the half of it, a sudden change occurred in the world around them, as bolts of lightning started to descend, heavily striking the gap between the two lands, leaving only the bridge intact and free from any attacks.
Any bolt was strong enough to kill any of them, NPCs included. A sudden silence ushered over everyone, until Oya’s master muttered:
“The heavenly lightning strikes of the ridge! Every time I come here, I find it hard to accept the presence of such brutal attacks, sigh.”
Her words made everyone more solemn and silent, trying to cross the remaining distance in the shortest available time to them. they finally reached the other end, crossing the bridge safely, and the moment they did, these strange brutal bolts of lightning vanished like they never existed!
“What are these?” Oya suddenly asked, after she managed to control her panic as she realized she was now safe.
“The bolts of lightning guarding the Ihnasia ridge. The more we go deep, the further we will meet these bolts, and there is a legend speaking about the heart of the ridge, as there is a strange thing buried there, guarded by constant bolts of lightning, so no one could go there, no one but the one!” Ela said, narrating the legendary tale of the ridge.
“The heart of the ridge?” she muttered, softly, with some loss in thought, as she had some vague déjà vu when she heard these words, like she had these words said to her once before.
She couldn’t recall when or where she heard them, but she had this feeling that she had really heard this story somewhere before.
“What are these?” Oya suddenly asked, after she managed to control her panic as she realized she was now safe.
