Necromancer Supreme System - Chapter 80
“I think we might have another lord monster nearby. We need to reach the second river, which would be this way,” she pointed towards a place not far from them, where there was a sudden depression in the ground. Everyone nodded, as they all went towards the same direction her master pointed towards.
When they reached there, they found what she said was correct, as there was another river there, with many monsters coming from it. they were killing monsters spawning from the bottom of that river, and the moment they started descending there, the monsters coming towards their back decreased greatly in response.
“So, we have to fight another lord monster then?” Avada muttered, as he and the others weren’t that afraid anymore. They all thought of the huge amount of Xp they all gained from the previous monster, which was crazily huge enough to make them all jump five levels at the least.
They were anticipating the fight with this lord, while Oya and the other NPCs were feeling more secure with the presence of the new addition to their army.
Those huge giant skeletons acted as a brutal head, hitting and killing everywhere in a rampage without any hesitation at all. Nothing stopped in its way, and it didn’t even lose Hp when normal monsters attacked it.
For them, it was the perfect tank for that kind of monster, and when they thought of having another lord skeleton with the present one, their fighting spirit just got ignited stronger than ever.
They stirred that lord monster like before, as once they killed one of those lava monsters on the river, the whole river shook, and the previous intimidating scene appeared again.
This time the monster was destined to lose, as the first thing it met was its equal, the giant skeleton of Oya.
Oya’s skeleton acted as a spear head, while everyone kept kiting and attacking the lord monster from the sides. Oya ordered her skeleton to grab the lord and fix it on the river bank, away from the river, which made the lord monster lose its supporting lava river early from the start.
The fight ended in half an hour, with no suspense, or losses. At the end, Oya managed to summon another skeleton, and that raised the arsenal of her own army by a huge boost.
The moment this lord monster fell, the attacking monsters decreased suddenly, finally giving them a chance to breathe.
“Let’s rest here, as I recall the time needed for a lord monster to respawn again would be slightly over one day,” her master instructed, after they killed all the big masses of monsters, leaving only stray ones for Oya’s skeletons to handle.
They all were quite exhausted, and so they took this chance to rest their bodies, and marvel their amazing gains.
Oya’s friend didn’t stop gathering materials along the way, even when they rested here on the side of the river, they continued to gather materials from its nearby edge.
Oya just watched them, while she smiled helplessly at their actions, without saying a word. She kept her silence, as she was thinking about the future of her skeleton army. having such great giants was such a nice idea, which made her wonder what it was like to have a huge army like the one she saw surrounding Ibro from before.
She didn’t know how Ibro did it, but she was sure he didn’t have it nice to obtain all these skeletons. A necromancer seemed quite a biased class, but she knew now better than anyone how hard working this class was.
If she didn’t seek to summon skeletons from each monster she killed, unleashing her skeletons to continue killing to level up, she wouldn’t have such a great army of them right now.
Even when she was resting with others, she didn’t stop transforming corpses into skeletons, as part of her army was tasked with bringing back all the killed monsters’ bodies to her for her to summon.
This kept her quite busy, and everyone just stole glances at her, envying her persistence and hard work, and also finding it amazing to have such a nice way to increase the number of her skeletons.
Skeletons proved to be worthy of admiration and respect, as they played a great role in making them all reach this far.
“What lies at the end of this place?” Salsola suddenly asked, as she finally finished collecting all the materials here with everyone, returning to rest beside Oya and the other NPCs.
“We will have thousands of rivers like this one to cross before we can finally reach the final boss,” Oya’s master replied, as she added, “the final boss is such a legendary creature that no one had ever seen before. Some claim it’s a dragon while others claim it’s a phoenix, anyway we will see if we can clear all the lords here before heading towards that last boss.”
Her words made everyone’s eyes shine, especially Oya. Having thousands of these giant skeletons was something she yearned for already, and having it achieved so soon was really exciting for her.
“We should aim for that boss then,” Oya declared, as everyone glanced at her, as if they all could read what was going on inside the little mind of hers. “What?! I just want to know what shape that legendary monster would take,” she added, as she felt quite embarrassed to be read this easily by them.
“Sigh, just say it, you want more skeletons,” Ela sighed, and her remark made everyone laugh, a pure hearted one.
“I think it would be a dragon, this place suited the brutality of them,” Disky suddenly said, turning the topic over to this part, where various opinions kicked in about what that boss monster would be.
“A phoenix.”
“A dragon.”
“A dragon.”
“A dragon.”
“A phoenix.”
Many voices started to express their opinions, with dragons taking the most votes already. Ela laughed while saying:
“Alright alright, let’s have a bet then.”
Everyone’s eyes shone brightly when it came to this, as they all started to shout their bets, even the NPCs joined the fun!
“I bet fifty gold grade materials on dragon.”
“I bet one hundred gold grade materials on phoenix.”
“I bet twenty gold grade materials on dragon.”
“I bet five hundred gold grade materials on dragon.”
“I bet eighty three gold grade materials on phoenix.”
“I bet sixty nine gold grade materials on a dragon.”
All started to place their bids, and Ela with a laugh noted them all down one by one. Oya watched all this without saying a word, just enjoying this dunny amusing atmosphere.

This was really fun, and gradually everyone joined the bet, except for Oya. As everyone finished placing their bids, they all turned to glance at their left over one, asking silently for her to participate.
“Oya should take part using her skeletons,” Salsola suddenly said it, and everyone’s eyes shone brightly from greed, giving Oya a scare.
“C’mon, my skeletons can’t live away from me, she said.
“Really? Never tried that before, let’s give it a try then,” her master schuckled with evil intentions, as everyone thought of obtaining such a mighty follower as a skeleton.
“Sigh, just stop it already, I can’t let go of mine, they are mine after all,” Oya persistently refused.
“This is the law of bets, just drop your bid and take the risk of losing it, it’s much fun,” Ela added.
